I was seeking help for some small red bumps on my torso that ended up being diagnosed as scabies. After I went back a 2nd time because I demanded to be seen (and was prescribed the same 4 medications including Ivermectin), I was given a biopsy and told that it was nothing more than a heat rash. This lasted for over 6 weeks. I called Hubbell Dermatology for a 2nd opinion and was seen immediately by Dr. Chris and his nurse. Their bedside manner was calming and they did a thorough examination on my body which was not done by the previous dermatologist. I am so thankful for Hubbell Dermatology and their staff! After 6 weeks of crying, they were able to help heal my skin from the abuse that the previous dermatologist had put it through due to negligence. And can we talk about their follow ups and follow through? Dr. Chris called me around 6:30 one night to talk to me about my biopsy results. There was no notification, no signage, and no courtesy update. This is unacceptable, especially when people rely on timely access to their prescriptions. I'm transferring my medication to my local CVS and will be sharing my experience with others. The lack of reliability and communication at this pharmacy is unprofessional and harmful.
