It's okay. I get waxed regularly and found this location mediocre. When I moved here a few months ago, I needed to find a waxing place and hadn't been to a European Wax in about 4 years. It got the job done until I found a better business. If you are looking for in-and-out and less expensive, I think you'd be content. If you're looking for a higher level of service, I would recommend other places in the area. Pros: Services are super quick Some staff take the time to converse Cons: I wasn't really impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. There was hair all over the floor (looks like it needed a sweep, I wish they did that between clients). The rooms are tight so comfort is not the priority. Wax went fine however the front desk handles setting appointment times terribly. Called in to see if they had an opening right away at 345 and they said they had one available so I walked in immediately. One client walked in after me at 355 and was taken back by 4. I wasn't even seen until 410. The front desk girl was rude about the whole thing even though my waxer told me she had double booked. A pleasant experience. Clean. Private. Knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable. European Wax Center uses beeswax that adheres to the hair but not the skin. No paper strips are used. I find the European Wax Center's method to be less painful but the end result isn't as smooth to the touch. read more

It's pricey but well worth it! I had my appointment with Noel and being that it was my first bikini wax ever, I was incredibly nervous. Customer service is everything. I HAD BRITTANY.She was absolutely amazing.My goodness she was informative. She was so kind. She was so understanding. She made me feel comfortable. The place was so clean. Even the lady that checked me out was so nice. It was a very welcoming place. One of the best experiences I had in Customer service. I told Brittany (the lady that waxed me)this was my first time ever and even though it was painful you talking me through it and your education the pressure she put afterwards made everything better. She asked me a couple of times to try to keep my legs open a bit more I couldn't and I was freaking out just a little lol. Always trying to sell you on waxing packages, which I get, is there job. Little do they tell you that if you don't use your free one, you have to pay for it or pay $25 to cancel. When I tried to get the associate on the phone, WHO KEPT CALLING ME every day until I'd pick up, she couldn't explain why I owed $25 to cancel my free waxes? I used to love this place but this last time I went here was hectic and needless to say I don't think I'll be going back. I recently moved to Colorado from Louisiana but I went back this past week for Mardi Gras. So I scheduled an appointment to do my eyebrows for 1:45, just for the lady to call me literally 2 minutes before the appointment after I drove a whole hour to get there and asked if I could wait another hour because she accidentally scheduled me at the same time as someone else. And may I remind you I came here from Colorado so I don't have time to spare just riding around in Lafayette. But of course I was like whatever ok sure. My eyebrows came out phenomenal as always but when I went to check out of course there was even more problems. I ended up buying this brow gel which I never do but my total was only $17 with the service and brow gel together which is very cheap for this place so of course I got it. After I checked out and paid for it, I got all the way to new iberia again just for them to call me and say I accidentally paid for someone else's stuff and they needed my card again so that they could pay my actual total. The new total ended up being double what I originally paid and they didn't even give me a percentage off for my inconveniences. If I would've known it was going to be $35 I wouldn't have gotten the brow gel but by that time it was too late because I had already left the place and used it. Like I said, this place used to be amazing but now the only thing good about it is how great the ladies that wax are. But the people at the front desk on the other hand are so unorganized and have absolutely no clue what they are doing. read more

Very nice, friendly center. Waxing room was very comfortable. My brow waxing needed a little improvement. I didn't pay too much attention to the outcome and walked out with two different brow shapes. One was higher and thinner than the other, and one was not waxed enough on the ends. My friends noticed immediately when they saw me the same day. I really noticed the difference after washing off the brow paste. I made an appt. upon leaving which I decided not to keep. When the center called about my appt.. I simply said I wanted to cancel. The staff didn't care; said "oh, ok" and quickly hung up. My friends think I would be crazy to return. read more

She made me feel comfortable all while getting the job done which is definitely an asset to this location. I do have concerns with the front end staff/management being that I've been waiting for someone to contact me back regarding an issue I had at their location and it has been well over a week now. Unless I experience a genuine change in customer service I will continue at this location until my remaining waxes have been depleted and then I will most likely try another business. If it weren't for that issue I would had given five stars and if it weren't for her they would have received one-two after the issue at hand. First off I'm a do it ur self kinda girl. I LIVE for shortcuts and SELDOM pamper myself. I've been to bonefish and the loft a gazillion times but somehow missed this gem of a joint. My friend Christia recommended me. I was petrified to get the "Brazilian". I mean the whole idea sounded extremely painful and unnecessary. I was old school. Give me a razor and some cream...I "had" this! I mean initially I went for the "experience," I knew that this was gonna be a 1 time thing. I mean who saves up 50 bucks a month to put themselves through that kinda torture??????? Victoria engaged me in mindless girl talk the ENTIRE time and applied pressure after each strip was pulled to SUPPRESS the pain. It was like therapy...painful but totally bearable therapy. Needless to say when I walked out...I gladly scheduled my next appointment. Now I'm a regular and I feel like a beautiful INVINCIBLE woman each time (just cause my who ha looks extra fab). This place is a joke. Such a rip-off as well. I started my wax passes and decided to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and they REFUSED to call me back after calling 3 days in a row. On the 3rd day after calling for a 3rd time someone called me back who WAS NOT a manager. Then stated that I cannot get a refund and would get a store credit. I was aware of the cancellation fee for $25 but when I signed up NO ONE told me anything about a store credit nor was it in the handbook given so I have to settle for a credit that I won't ever use. A friend of mine who was with me stated the girl at the front desk didn't mention anything about getting store credit if cancelled. RIP OFF!!!!! Also, I was unhappy with my last wax which prompted me to cancel. She was rushing and I noticed she missed quite a few spots. For a long time I was getting wax services through Spa Mizan. I had a routine of taking an excedrin and using a topical analgesic and still having lots of pain for the results I was getting. After writing a review for them a few months back I found out about this place through Yelp! There was such a price drop it was almost half of what I pay for the same service at Spa Mizan... I felt like I was cheating on them since I had been with them over a year, but I decided to take the plunge and try a new place. Wow... Just wow. A 100% different experience with hard wax. Way less pain, less mess, and it's still quick. Another jaw dropper is the price. It's a place in river ranch... which usually means you pay more for the location. That is not the case here, like I mentioned- I'm paying substantially less than I was. The experience is great, the price is unbeatable, and the people are polite and take care of you. I agree, it gets annoying constantly being upsold every time I'm there, I think it's my one complaint. I understand it's corporate's fault though, not the employees. When I get the reminder calls about appointments, they are very polite. Likewise, when I had to change my appointment, they were fast and friendly. The website is VERY user friendly and it's great for scheduling etc. I don't like the pictures of the waiflike models posing all over the place- just personal taste though, really. I have been going to EWC for the past two years and I love it! I recommend it to all of my friends who are looking for a place to get a good wax at a reasonable price. The Brazilians are only $47 and first-time guests can get 50% off. The facility is very clean, comfortable, and inviting. After trying a few different estheticians, I found my perfect fit with Heather. We always laugh and chat, which makes the service a lot more pleasant. Now I won't let anyone else do my wax. She is truly the best of the best! EWC also has its own line of skincare products. They'll try to sell them to you but that's their job. I've only used the ingrown hair serum; one bottle lasts a long time and it really works. You can make an appointment over the phone or online if you prefer. I think they have an app too. I've had Brazilians at a few different salons and EWC is by far the best one I have ever been to. I'm a customer for life! read more

This was my first time getting a Brazilian and it was way better than i expected. Avaida, pretty sure i spelled that wrong, was my wax specialist and she was so great. She was very professional and never made me feel uncomfortable. We chatted about life and boys and before I knew it she was done. I am going back to her tomorrow to get my legs done. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because my appt was at 630 and they didnt see me till 730, but luckily i was in no rush. Prices are so reasonable. read more
