We would strongly recommend Matt to our friends and family in the area…read more We met with several realtors before choosing to work with Matthew to sell our home in Bellevue, WA. Matt wasn't the lowest rate, the highest sale volume, nor did he cite a substantially higher sale price. But his recommendations on prep/staging/marketing; his full-service, detailed, and organized approach; and our ability to speak honestly about expectations really stood out. We also appreciated that he recommended ways to highlight the unique touches in the home, rather than (literally) whitewashing everything as some other realtors advised. His approach magnified the things we loved about the home and the care we put into maintaining and improving it. We were out-of-state during the majority of the sale, and relied on Matt and his team very heavily for sale preparation. He made proposals, got quotes, and oversaw work. Matt was upfront about whether he thought each suggested improvement would pay for itself, and actively advised against changes other realtors had suggested that he didn't think were worth it. He was always clear that it was our decision and also happily accommodated us doing some of the work ourselves. Because of his and his team's diligence we were able to hit our target list date, with a house that was shown in its best light. The local market had become more uncertain: markets were softening and a similar house down the street was sitting on the market after weeks, despite a price drop. We adjusted our intended list price (still within his initial range) and our expectations, but Matt remained confident in the home and how it would show. We got an under-asking offer early, and Matt went into overdrive to solicit additional offers. Ultimately we got a very attractive at-list-price offer, the house went pending within a week of listing, and we had a very smooth closing experience. There's always luck involved, but we expect that with most other realtors it would have more work for us to get the house on the market and the sale price would have been lower.

Know your tenant rights when working with their team!!…read more When I first moved in, I was promised repairs of the apartment that were never done. I since have had to get the city involved and it is finally getting worked on 7 months later. Last week, I was given a 4 minute warning on a Thursday afternoon that the repairman was coming by. I missed that time because I work 9-5. They then said he would return at 5pm the same day. I was not home again and asked to schedule a time with 24 hour notice. I was able to schedule a time on Friday for the following Tuesday from 10-12PM. I was notified on Tuesday morning that the time had changed and that the repairman would show up later. When asked to reschedule because I needed to go to work, they said that they have done their best to provide proper notice and that I would be charged if they were not allowed entry. I had a previous experience with the renting manager that left me feeling unsafe to have anyone enter my apartment without someone present. After calling them and the city about the unfair treatment, they replied that it was a scheduling error on their part. I truly belive that if I didn't know my rights, I would have been charged. I totally understand that schedules change and time frames need to be shifted. However, the tenant and should not be charged when the apartment team has to reschedule the planned visit. This is one of the many examples that their team has been difficult to work with. I would not recommend to rent from them and do not belive that they care about the wellbeing of their renters. Please research your rights as a tenant and make sure that they uphold their responsibilities to you!

Haven't even rented from them yet but I guess we never will - I had a virtual tour for an apartment…read more(because we're moving from out of state) but got ghosted half way through! Basically during the tour when the guy goes down to show the "garage", his connection cuts out. I text to say I don't need to see the garage, let's just talk when you're back upstairs in the unit... But they never respond nor join the video call again. It's really unfortunate because we were really excited by this listing and even considered flying up overnight to view it and apply, but guess that's not possible now. We were hesistant of the bad reviews on Yelp at first but the apartment was very much what we're looking for - probably best to have dodged dealing with this company though. Some other minor flags (small things that wouldn't be much of an issue alone, but makes you feel weird when added all up): - When scheduling, they seem to have offered the same time slot to multiple people, because even though I replied 15mins after they texted me a specific time, they said someone else had taken that time already. - I had pretty good email/text communication from "Tiffany" at first, but it was a different person (I think his name was Jess?) who gave the tour, but neither had mentioned the other person - The photos they put up were of a different unit that faced a different way (actual unit faces a giant tree that blocks the light), which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing (this is a small apartment of like 6 units so not an apartment complex where you'd expect the photos to be different) - There was also a misleading photo of what looked like a pantry (small walk in closet with shelving that had food items on the shelves) but from the tour it was evident that was actually one of the bedroom closets. Again, not a big deal (having it be a closet is actually a plus for me) but seems fishy that they staged it like that. Update: they never acknowledged my message about the tour but instead messaged me the next day to say the unit is no longer available and suggested another rental. Then later the same day they send me an email saying thanks for viewing, here's the link to apply (this one might be automated though)
