The worst, Adrian Diaz did out taxes but did not filled them with the IRS. After receiving letters from the IRS we started going back and forth to his office. He never showed up to us, he said all different stories, that mi social security did not match, that he filled them late it was like in october because we did not paid him. After showing the bank statement that we had paid him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE FOR ANY BUSINESS. We lost time by going back and forth to the IRS offices. read more

Disappointed by the unprofessionalism , we gave them the benefit of the doubt but they did the same thing the next year, so we won't be using them anymore , and we won't be recommending them to anyone . First update: I finally heard back from Edgar, it did take having to copy Adrian on the email and leaving this review. None the less I now know the status of my tax returns which is significantly better than being in the dark. I fully understand it's tax season and they're busy but please set the right expectations and let your client know it will take 2-3 weeks to complete their taxes, don't tell them it will be 2 days for a return call and then not communicate for 2 weeks. So here I am, Tuesday 4/23 (almost 3 weeks later) and finding out 1 file wouldn't open via email, and providing an additional piece of information Edgar was missing from me. I'm still hopeful this will all work out but the response I received on this review about not being prepared with my info is kinda BS and leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth. I came with everything they asked me to (when I set up the original appointment) end even told them a 1 hour appt was not going to be enough. During my appointment I wasn't told I was missing anything and even came with last 5 years of my taxes and every possible document needed. I'm originally from Nor Cal and a very loyal client. I was trying to find a new great tax person here locally, but communication, trust and integrity are a must for me. ::sigh:: read more

First of all Edgar is really great but the reason for the 1 star is the gentlemen in the front he is so rude and doesn't know how to talk to people. Also doesn't seem to know any information and just guesses. You really need to work on customer service and speak to people. Us customers are the reasons your bills are getting paid. I did not appreciate you yelling at my mother over the phone. I really hope you were having a bad day or get whatever help you need to improve on yourself. Shame on you. Please be careful when calling into the office and don't expect great customer service on the phone. read more

Go see Adrian, Margarita, Edgar or Carlos they are the best tax team in Santa Ana. I have done my taxes with all of them over the years I have yet to try don Luis. This is the office I did my first income tax since I was 16, I am now 31 and this place is still here. Adrian treated me like family, him and his mom that also works there and even hooks me up if I bring him a new client. He does my sisters taxes and would not go anywhere else. I have been coming here since 1992 and have never been done wrong, as they know what they do. Everyone is always friendly, but the big guy (sorry to put it that way) up on the front has always been very short and rough around the edges. Truth is, he can be nice. My only complaint would be that they run behind all the time - even if you have an appointment. Yes, it's tax season and they can get busy. The thing here is they should not schedule people for an appointment if they are not going to arrive to the office on time; this puts all the appointments behind. Can be frustrating. read more

Great personalized service. I always see Edgar Diaz for my taxes. He is thorough, he files it electronically, and I know how much I will be getting back by the end of my appointment. He takes a personal interest in you, too. My only complaint is the parking lot in the back is too small and you have to find street parking. Other than that, I highly recommend Diaz Enterprises. They will eventually get to your taxes. If you make an appointment be ready to wait. I had an appointment scheduled for a while so I check in, mind you there is only one other person in the waiting room and is already being helped. They have at least 3 CPA's at their Santa Ana location. I chose Edgar to do my taxes. Now I have had my appointment scheduled for a while, I waited over 2 hours and Edgar was still not in the building. I can understand why someone would take appointments if you don't plan on seeing clients who book the appointments. If you have no plans on coming into work, do not book clients. It is rude to waste people's time. With this current climate, covid19, you should not have clients filling up a waiting room because you can't make it into work. If you need to stay home with your family and can't come to work, fine. Don't take appointments. This has been the worst experience, I would never EVER recommend this place. My mom has been going to this place for several years. This is the only place I have ever gone to do my taxes. I have been a loyal customer for 7 years. I have been seeing Adrian for my taxes he's helped me with some IRS letters and helped resolve some issues with the IRS. However this time I made an appointment to see his brother Edgar. So hopefully he is as good as his brother Adrian! :) Overall my experience has been great! The only complaint I would have is the wait. I don't know if last year they had a mix up in the schedule but I had to wait for Adrian for over an hour. I sat there and waited and watched everyone come in and out. Finally someone asked if I had been helped and I told them "I checked in with so and so.....and told them I had an appointment with Adrian over an hour ago." Adrian came out and called me back to his office, he apologized and we just went about to doing my taxes. Adrian is good at what he does and he answers any questions or concerns you have. I highly recommend going to Diaz Enterprises. Everyone there knows what they are doing and has a friendly smile on their face! I tell everyone to go there and do their taxes!!! ****OK, So I saw Edgar yesterday.....I was glad I had him do my taxes! My boyfriend and I went last night to do our taxes, He was so helpful and kind. Very patient and very detailed! He double checked and asked if we had any more deductions to make sure we were claiming everything to get our maximum refund!! He never rushed us out the door or looked at his watch. This place was great! I waited until the last minute, like always, to do my taxes this year, and I got back more money than I ever had before. It was extremely busy, but I was in and out in no time. Apparently, it's a family owned business that's been aroung for over 30 years. Who would have known that they're right in my neighborhhod and I never knew. I got my refund in 2 weeks and the cost was way less than where I went before, which was H&R Block. They had charged me over $150! I will go back again next year read more

He always communicates with me while he is filing my taxes and he makes me feel very comfortable.
