I took a fav jacket to get the zipper repaired. She did a great job. Zippers are very time consuming but got it back within a week. The shop is small. She charged $30 for repair. A lil high priced, but well worth it. Judith is very helpful and courteous. read more

I got dress tailored here for a wedding. I needed it hemmed at the bottom and the cleavage part sewn up a little higher. The top came out fine. The bottom looks like it wasn't even touched at all it's still dragging all over the floor and now it's too late to try and get it done right. So my dress will just be filthy by the end of the night. In the future I will not trust the high deserts highly satisfied reviews because I am anything but highly satisfied. $35 dollars not well spent read more

Needed my sons pants tailored on a short notice (needed them in 3 days) for winter formal. She was really nice and got the job done but $28 to hem and tailor 1 single pair of pants just seemed extremely high! If I didn't need them in a rush I probably would've went somewhere else and maybe it was because I needed them in a hurry, the price was the way it was but she didn't say it would be extra for that so I'm not sure. I had 3 pairs of jeans that I took in to have altered and taken in because they'd gotten too big . When I went in the woman took my measurements and had them ready when I needed them so it seemed promising. My sister picked up my jeans for me and when she brought them home to me I was in disbelief how my pants looked . They literally left 2 obnoxious lines going down the waistline . My pants were still big on me and I can't cuff the straight leg ones because of how they left the seam on the inside. I'm super disappointed in this place considering the reviews are pretty decent. I had two weeks left before my friend's wedding and still had not gotten the dress hemmed. I had tried setting up an appointment with David's Bridal (where I actually bought the dress) as soon as I received it but they couldn't fit me in on time. I looked up tailors throughout the High Desert and was instantly drawn to this place because of the good reviews, especially the ones mentioning the price. Did I mention that I was also on a budget? Well I was and since I've never needed to hire a tailor's services I wasn't sure what to expect especially since DB's wanted to charge an arm & a leg. She got the dress from me on a Friday and it was done by Tuesday. She hemmed it perfectly and she opened the dress to make the alterations. I'm not exactly sure what that means but my grandmother & aunts said that was a lot of work for a good cheap price. The dress came out great! It went from being loose and extremely long to just right for my body. I would definitely recommend this place! It is tiny but that doesn't deter from the service. She was very communicative and responsive to my frantic-ness and lack of tailor knowledge. She was also very kind and fair with her prices. Five stars all the way! read more

But they were so incredibly professional and knew exactly what my dress needed, which was a lot! She brought it in and created a bustle for me, which made the dress fit perfectly! I had a very delicate formal dress that needed altering at the straps, waist & length of dress & all told me it was either too difficult or delicate to get what I wanted. Diaz Tailor Shop, however, gave me exactly what I asked for! She did an good job at making me feel ease with leaving my dress & did an excellent job at the alterations. The local cleaners never have tailors available. I'm glad I found Diaz tailor shop. My Halloween costume only came in one size and they adjusted it to fit me perfectly. I was a bit skeptical because of the fake muscle padding but they literally did better than the manufacturer. Really nice ladies , I'll definitely be back with any other small-medium alterations that I need tailored.
