I really love their sub's. Like I can't even begin to tell you. One of the key things to a great sub is the bread and this is as delicious and as fresh as it gets. The meats are always good and I've never had a bad sub from here. Granted it can get a little pricey, but a small sized sub will fill you up quick. So don't splurge on a big sub unless you're saving the other half for dinner (and full disclosure I'm a chunky sized fellow lol.) Always clean and friendly tho. The ordering is a bit wonky and they should have all of the add-on and condiment options so the sandwich makers don't have to go through the spiel each time. The bread is freshly made in house and I really enjoy the hearty flavor of the multi-grain. The subs are large and a small is more than enough for a hearty lunch. These subs are great for tailgating when I'm going to be eating all day but watch out...there's so much food in this sub that it will put you to sleep if you try to finish it. Not so great when I get it for lunch and expect to stay awake the rest of the work day. Can I get a smaller sub? Sure...but it's only a couple bucks more for the big boy and it's pretty much a dare to get it. Like when the bartender asks you if you want the 16oz or 24oz...you don't really have a choice, you're getting the 24. I usually go with turkey, ham, or steak and cheese. They have some cool meat combos available too. Cool toppings available (like banana peppers) and plenty of customization. I'm usually not a cold cut sandwich kind of person, but DiBella's definitely changed my mind about that. Unfortunately their hot subs are nothing to write home about, they are alright, but not great. I see most of the disappointed customers her got a hot sub on their first visit, which makes the disappointment understandable. If you want an excellent experience, get the Godfather. After sampling a few of their subs, this is definitely my tried and true favorite, and don't forget their oil dressing! It really is a must. The pasta salad is great, if you have room for it after your sub. Finally, finish it off with a chocolate chip walnut cookie. They are so soft and chewy, and just perfect. Unfortunately, my visit here today was less than what I expected. Ordered 2 Steak and Cheese, one with American the other with Mozzarella. Both with Mayo, mushrooms, peppers and onions and steak sauce. We really love grabbing DiBella's when we need a nutritious, filling meal when we are away from home. All the ingredients are fresh, the bread is fresh baked, and you can tell that the topping are always prepped that day. The staff is great whenever we go. My first time trying it, although long awaited, a bit disappointing. I stared at the menu as you walk in for about 5 minutes when a gentleman sitting near me says "there's nothing to decide, get the steak." I'm a cheesesteak fan, so I did. It was very dry. Gigantic, but dry. I searched for some mayo or catchup or hot sauce, anything, to no avail. Perhaps I should have known to ask for it during the build process. A process in which is a bit confusing, especially when the kid building is frustrated that you don't know the procedure, and whispers just above an inaudible volume. The Mac salad was really good and so was the pickle. Over all not super impressed, but it wasn't that that bad. No real grudge, but I probably won't come back. read more

The portions are huge - if you order a large expect to leave with a loaf of bread. The meats are fine, but the bread is what really makes this sandwich. There's a subway across the street... don't even think about it. Recommend trying one of their signature sandwiches instead of sticking to what you know. Tasty sandwiches, but they lose a bit in their logistics. I've ordered roughly the same sandwich every time I've gone in. Each time, the options presented to me are different. I only end up with horseradish, for instance, if I happen to remember to ask for it. Same for roasted red peppers. I get asked if I want my sandwich grilled about half the time. When I get to the register, I have to recite my order back to the cashier, including which meats ended up on it... even though that doesn't change the price. As well, they seem to run out of Everything bread, quite often. I'd recommend this place, as long as you know that the burden is on you to make sure you get what you want. read more

Not impressed. I visited your Milford Ct location on Saturday 20 April around 1:30. Here is why I am not impressed: 1. Your menu board gives limited amounts of information. Nothing about the things you can add on to your subs. That is displayed no where at all. 2. The utter lack of care for your dining area. I had to bus my own table, as the previous occupants neglected to, as well as the restaurants staff. 3. The table and floor next to mine looked like a food fight had taken place and the mess was strewn everywhere. Is that how you want to present yourselves to the public? This was not taken care of in the 20 minutes it took my wife and I to eat our subs. 4. My sub was not made correctly and in fact two extra items were left off of it. 5. Utter lack of caring by our order taker and server. 6. Lack of attention to detail is rampant, from the order taker, server, and the guy at the register whose name tag had General Manager on it.
