Whenever I go to Everett, I stopped by this place. (for years)It's had this most delicious chicken Marcella sub. I remember it loaded with chicken fresh off the flat top covered in a delicious gravy & mushroom's. Today I was a little disappointed because first of all my order involved no ham and no cheese . I suppose mistakes happen when you make it a certain way every day in and out since 1950's, that you don't pay attention to the little things like people that are lactose intolerant or allergic to ham. Reluctantly, they made me a new sandwich that had one itty-bitty piece of chicken in it breaded,& the delicious gravy. It felt a little light the second time around and it was reported to me that the lady that took the order and placed the sandwich in my friends hand had an attitude. I know my one little sandwich won't make her break your business, but it seems to have an effect when you had to do it over. Try better next time thanks. read more

I've never used this word to describe a pizza before, but this is exactly what it was: creamy. The pizza wasn't hot by the time I got home so I threw it in the microwave for a couple seconds, and that cheese was ooey-gooey so I grabbed a fork and knife (judge away). I was surprised by the creamy texture, but the taste was good and honestly, it was great comfort food! The steak and cheese was exactly what you expect. I got the steak bomb with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni and extra cheese. Perfect proportions of each to the steak. Great fine texture on the steak. Great seasoning. While it is a sizable sub, it is smaller than some of the other large steak and cheese. I'm not complaining; it's a great value, and I also had pizza anyway. Fast service, good value. I have been going to DIBLASI'S ever since I was a teenager over ten years ago and I was extremely disappointed with the way they treated me I asked them for my steak and cheese toasted bun and I got my bread burnt to a crisp and when I respectfully went back to have it remade. When I came in they mocked me laughed and couldn't just admit they made a mistake and made the sandwich again. When I brought the sandwich to my girlfriend she told me she couldn't eat it as it had so much pepper in it that's all she can taste. Hair in my food and they were absolutely rude about it. A piece of hair saturated within my Buffalo chicken salad.. when I called to let them know, the owner said "I don't know what to tell you, it's just one of those things that sucks." I continued to let them know how unpleased and disgusted I was, and he rudely commented "my wife's hair gets in my food too sometimes, it's just one of those things." I will NEVER order here again needless to say, not only was his customer service and apparent cleanliness horrendous, but he didn't even acknowledge my compliant, or offer any refund or at least another order. This was one of our favorite places to order from in Everett until tonight. Was half way through my BLT wrap when I took a bite and had a long piece of hair stuck/wrapped inside the wrap attached to the piece I had just bit off. Very unsettling. Obviously mistakes happen but it makes me wonder if the people working their are wearing hair nets or at least have their hair back. My husband grew up around the corner for Diblasi's and his family still lives there. We went back to visit and that's the first place we went...seriously! Like Phong, my husband usually gets the Steak Bomb. I actually tried that this time and it was pretty darn awesome, but I did substitute the usual american cheese for provolone. YUM! I've been there before and I've had the meatball, the chicken parm, the eggplant parm, and some of the cold cut sandwiches...all good....all awesome! The family usually always has some of that delicious Sicilian style pizza in their fridge too. It's good cold, hot, fresh or next day. Love it. been ordering for years, as i live 4 minutes away from them. ordered through grubhub at 11:45, they listed their delivery times from 11:30-11:30pm, food was made in a handful of minutes, sloppily, and then "picked up" before noon. i waited past the delivery time, then contacted grubhub trying to find out where my food is. I tried giving this place a try twice, and both times they fucked up. Food takes an hour and a half to two hours to arrive (and this is on a Thursday night when I'm only about 10 mins away). Tonight I ordered around 6:20 and by 8 I still didn't have my food. I called the restaurant and they claimed the driver had come by and called and rang the bell. They said my phone was "out of order." I ordered through grub hub, which I do all the time, and have not once had an issue with drivers calling me. Assuming they dialed the number wrong...the doorbell never rang. Our doorbell works fine. Previously I ordered from them, food took almost 2 hours, arrived cold, and when I called asking for a refund the manager was extremely rude. read more

I got subs from this place four times. I would get steak and cheese sub with extra cheese. Two out of the four times I've ordered from this place, I got no cheese at all, but was still charged for it. When I called to point this out the third time I ordered, I got extra cheese, but still got charged. The last time I ordered, I called back to make sure there was extra cheese. They said they would, but when I unwrapped it, there was no cheese, but I was still charged. They need to get their act together over there. We were looking for some food to bring with us to soak up the suds at Night Shift Brewing and as usual Yelp came to the rescue with this on-point recommendation. Walking in from the street was like time warping into the 1970s. The walls are cluttered with signed photos of famous athletes and movie stars over the years extolling the tastiness of these sandwiches. (Of particular interest was the Robin Williams one clearly dressed in an outfit from Good Will Hunting - one of my favorite Boston flicks.) The menu above the counter looks frozen in time and the woman who took my order was no-nonsense but warm and friendly when I told her that we didn't have anything like Diblasi's up in Vermont. I got a steak bomb and the lady got a chicken cutlet to go. My goodness was the steak bomb good... soft bread, succulent meat, gooey cheese, perfect mushroom and onion duo underneath. I wasn't as crazy about her sandwich, but who cares, they knocked mine out of the park. It's a good thing I don't live anywhere near this spot because I'd be tempted to make it a weekly occurrence. Seriously, no reviews? I'm back home for thanksgiving and the first opportunity that I had for lunch I came here for THE STEAK BOMB. What is a steak bomb you ask? A perfect combination of steak, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, salami and american cheese all over a soft roll. The meat to bread ratio is just right at about 55/45 meat/bread so it doesn't feel like you're just stuffing yourself with bread. You can eat in or take out. I've only gotten take out but the seating is your usual friendly eating alone bar stool and counters facing the street. They have other things on the menu like sicilian style pizza and of course cold cut subs. I come for the cheesesteak and that won't change any time soon. read more

Oh my god. I used to love diblasis and the way they made their fries and Cajun chicken salad. I order there tonight with my fiancé and it was SO TERRIBLE. I've been eating diblasis subs for as long as I can remember. I used to live only a few blocks away but moved about a half hour away as a kid. So, for the last twenty years when I have a hankering for a steak and cheese or chicken parm sub (which is fairly regularly), I make the trek because it's the only place I trust to make it the way I like it.
