Wasn't able to pick our own do to it being out of season which was a bummer but the frozen apple cider was fantastic!! Everything is reasonably priced but not much instruction on how everything flows read more

We go there twice a year for peaches and apples .I also like to see the items for sale inside , bought a few things :)

Just returned to RVA from pick-your-own Honey Crisp apples at Dickie Bros. This place is the best in Virginia - well worth the extra 30 min. past Carter's mountain. Family owned/operated since King George II's grant 250+ years ago. The owners are almost always on site and happy to tell you all things needed about apples. We go at least once a year. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the farm's Nelson Co. vistas - which are incredible. read more

As much as we would like to visit Dickie Brothers orchards each fall, we now live in the mountains of New Hampshire and the 720 mile drive is a burden. So, we copied the great varieties grown at Dickie Brothers and planted them here in the Dartmouth/Sunapee Region. The difference is the taste, and the red clay soil in Nelson County gives a much greater flavor. read more

Come visit Dickie Brothers Orchard which has been in our family since England's King George II granted the land to our family in 1752. Yes, it's true, our family has been farming this land for over two centuries ... 269 years! Tommy and John Bruguiere are the seventh generation to manage Dickie Bros. Their parents, Tom Bruguiere and Emilie Dickie Bruguiere managed this beautiful farm for over forty years We grow 20 different varieties of apples on over 100 acres. We have blackberries, peaches, nectarines, plums, pumpkins, sweet potatoes and more. We also raise beef cattle, have Saddlebred horses, and various colors of Labrador Retrievers running around the orchard. We invite our customers to "Pick Your Own" apples all season and experience nature's beauty here at Dickie Brothers Orchard.
