Surprised I haven't already reviewed this. I've definitely been before, once in a long while when I'm looking for a specific item. It's huge, it's expensive, and usually it's disappointing. Today I was looking for a mess kit for camping. They have vast areas devoted to clothing, a whole wall of hundreds of Stanleys, 14 different dog bowls, and zero mess kits. Two little aisles of camping gear, and that's it. Their grilling section is four times as big as the camping section. I guess that's what people wanna buy, but if you are looking for outdoor supplies, this is not the place to come. read more

We frequent DSG and have for years. The Easton location is more hit than miss and we're familiar with the layout and products. We hit it up yesterday after the Buckeyes won and got us some new Buckeye shoes and fun fab hoodies we're pretty sure once they sell out that is it. They are that fun! In the shoe department there were three associates kicking it and not approaching anyone for help so took a star down. Once my husband approached them, only then did we get what we needed. Weird. The checkout was awesome great staff who welcomed us with a smile and was super efficient and smooth with our transaction. During the COVID years, DSG kept it legit and professional with car deliveries. When I do stop for golf gear, I'm always approached in that department offering help so that makes me happy. Overall, I do love this store experience overall. Admittedly, I did try the new Polaris location the weekend of their re-opening Aug 15-17 and what a nightmare. Too loud and too big for my taste. Keep me going back to Easton as the people are great and Easton keeps it easy. read more

Came to this location today to find a pair of shoes. Showed up with plenty of time and knew what I was looking for so I could be in and out quickly before they closed. There were about 8 employees just in the shoe section, all standing there talking. I had to approach one to get the size I needed, to which they told me they had and would bring out to me. I waited and finally they brought it out. It was the wrong shoe and wrong size. I told them this and they said they'd bring out the correct one. I waited another 10 minutes then saw a guy bringing them out. The guy who was "helping" me, approached him and told him not to bring them out and they started laughing. Then came over and told me "sorry, we don't have your size" even though he looked them up prior and told me they did. Clearly doing this because they all wanted to be done working and go home even though there was still time before closed. If the employees here don't want to work and do their job, they need to just file for unemployment and quit wasting customers time especially ones who are there to spend money. I was extremely annoyed and won't be returning to this location. I recommend anyone who wants to go to a Dick's - just go to the one in Dublin instead. No one at the Easton location is interesting in working and would rather lie to customers rather than get their business. read more

Went looking for some waterproof shoes at Easton and found the perfect pair today! I was real impressed with the customer service at Dick's! I had two different reps helping to find the perfect shoes! Price-point was on the higher side but what a great selection. You can get everything here from clothes to canoes! read more

Hey yal nothen long nor extravagant! I came here looking for some sports undies to keep me right and tight while I workout and go about my everyday life. I came to this location to pick up my undies no major complaints. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they had the same nike undies in two different spots: 1 in middle of store and 1 towards the front. Had I not looked around to see what else they had I wouldn't have found the second spot up front, which had my size. They seem comfy but only time will tell if they roll up near the thigh. I came here with a friend yesterday who was looking for a specific brand of shoe. This location is very well-organized and pretty easy to navigate. They had a pretty extensive selection, especially of shoes - but trying them on revealed a pretty limited stock in-store. Thankfully, they were able to provide free shipping within a few days of anything they couldn't provide in real time. As for service, we only interacted with one employee, in the shoe department. He approached us and pretty much everyone else in the department to see if we needed help, before we had to ask for it. The people he radioed to were pretty slow bringing out the shoes, but he himself was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. Though my friend already had an idea of what shoe she wanted, he had recommendations based on her needs and foot structure. She ended up sticking with the original, but we still very much appreciated the genuine guidance and potential ideas for the future. (Wasn't trying to upsell either; I think the ones he recommended were actually cheaper. He really did just want her to find the perfect shoes.) I didn't catch his name, but major kudos to the very tall employee working yesterday in the shoe section. He's awesome! If your item is out of stock, the ordering process is pretty simple and quick. You're able to type your shipping and billing address yourself (thank goodness, because repeating and correcting can be so tedious), and the employee will do the rest. When you go on their website handguns are not listed so when you type in handguns or revolvers or semi-automatic handguns it brings up absolutely nothing!! People here clearly hate their job and are miserable. I couldn't find anyone to open up a dressing room for me and had to walk up to the front where two associates were talking openly about how terrible their job is and discussing their coworkers....I just stood there like an idiot waiting til they stopped to ask for a dressing room. Completely unprofessional. Dressing room was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in months. No one to help myself and others in the shoe department. Cashier was rude and condescending when I didn't hear the total the first time because he couldn't be bothered apparently. Threw my clothes into the bag which was near the FLOOR and CRUMPLED UP my receipt to place it in my hands!! I mean I was shocked and didn't even have time to say anything. read more

We placed an order online for a ton of gym equipment. The process was very easy and we were able to pull in to the designated pickup spot and register online for the employees to bring out the items. We did have to wait a while, which I assume is due to the excessive weight of the equipment. The employees were very nice and we helped them load the equipment into the back of the truck. Besides the wait time we had a very pleasant experience. I got to sign up for the rewards program and we got some nice points to spend in the future. You also get a bonus if you buy online and choose curb side pickup to gather your order. read more

I don't shop here often, and this visit was a reminder why. I am actively looking for a good pair of running shoes. I thought Dicks would have a large selection, and I was right, but the stock of shoes was very lacking. I wear a very common size at a 9.5 -10 depending on the shoe. Where I limit myself is that I typically wear a wide. I browsed online at my options and had my mind set to leave the store with a pair of shoes. We arrived and went to the shoe department which was like a war zone. I found the shoes I wanted and followed the process to request a pair to try on by scanning the barcode and waiting... and waiting... and waiting... and, you get the point. I finally pinned the associate down and requested a shoe.... I'm sorry, we are out of stock, he said as he passed me to assist another customer. Okay I thought, let's tray another color at this point I will tell you that the same events occurred, a lot of waiting, a little attention and and an out of stock shoe. I was growing impatient at this point, I asked the guy to search three different styles/colors, and bring me something. He arrived and handed me a box. I tried the shoe on, it was not what I was looking for. I looked for the associate again, no where to be found. I left the box on the bench and headed for the exit. In summary, I left with no shoes and high blood pressure. I think this visit will satisfy me and the urge to shop (or even browse) Dicks for at least another 3-5 years. Visited this store yesterday. Had only been there once since it opened. I was greeted upon entering but not asked if I needed help. Not one employee offered assistance but I believe I was being followed by a security person. I didn't realize this until I discussed my experience with my wife who was also shopping at the same time and she believed someone was following her around in the store. Then went to check out . There were 5 employees by the 1st register- not sure what they were doing. 1person was running another register. By the time we left the line was clear around the aisle and no employee opened another register. We will not visit this store again! read more

I was told Dick's has a decent selection of spinning (cycling) shoes that run the gamete, price wise. I was rather disappointed - not many options for being at Easton. Six different shoes. Three male, three female. No wides. There's two floors at this Dick's. They have a little bit of a lot of sports. But their selection is limited (guess that's expected, as if they had every make/model/style, they'd be the biggest sports store on the planet). First time at this location at Easton and I was impressed by the inside. Large!! Employees were very helpful in assisting me to find the soccer cleats and was quickly helped for fitting. I was also impressed that the front desk honored a 10% online only purchase in the store! That's excellent customer service and I was very appreciate of that! We went here for an OSU jersey. Dicks has a large assortment of Fan gear for MANY teams. However while trying on Jerseys, we could not mind my mothers size. It was the only size they did not carry(Youth XL). The very helpful CS woman went to her screen to look it up. She said they did not have it at all in any Dicks inventory, and would not get it again this year. Bummer. Not sure if that meant it's a limited, or non-stocked size. **READ ABOUT FIT** To be sure that was the proper size, she tried on some other non-OSU jerseys. Be careful! An adult NIKE jersey fit her, but had an ever so slight tag. It was not the same material or cut as an OSU jersey of the same adult size. I'm just letting you know, so you don't order the wrong size online. I don't shop much at Dicks, but I give a lot of gift cards. Plenty of friends and family love all that Dicks has. read more

Did a lot of research on line first and I thought I knew what I wanted but ended up getting a different brand after getting amazing customer service at the store. Can't say enough great things about Zachary, the guy who helped us. Spent time with us (at least 30 minutes) explaining all of the various features, pros and cons of each, which ones were junk and why, etc. We bought two kayaks, oars and a life vest, and can't wait to use them! The brand of clothing I was looking for was divided into two section with another brand in the middle that made it really confusing in searching for what I was looking for. Could not find any of the items that were on display for sale, the clothing was mismatched and many items had the wrong size on the hanger and I ended up accidentally buying the wrong size because of this. Not one employee approached me the entire time I was there (1 hour) and when I did approach an employee they were cold and indignant. Overheard two employees discussing the best way to avoid customers is to not make eye contact and pretend to be talking into an earpiece. In addition the store is very overpriced.
