This is the best DSG location that I've shopped at. I went in to buy a specific type of Nike outfit there was only one pair of sweatpants left in my size "On the Mannequin." I called over the manager Danny & I explained how I needed these sweatpants in my size. He was polite and fast about it! He had two other DSG team members Elijah & Caleb, who helped takedown the mannequin to get the sweatpants. All of them worked quickly and efficiently together. Awesome teamwork! I haven't been to a Dick's in a while. There aren't many in Los Angeles so when I walked into this one in Fayetteville I was pleased surprised. The staff were so helpful and they have all athletic gear that I needed. Things that most places don't carry and the prices were great. I had originally came in for athletic wrap for my ankle which I sprained a couple weeks ago. I had gone to CVS and Rite Aid and they didn't have anything. Well Dick's has a full line of tape, pro-wrap and even supports. The staff even showed me how to wrap my ankle! I ended up walking around the store and bought rain gear and also a pair of sneakers that were 30% off! So much winning! read more

If you need a CO2 tank refilled you're better off going somewhere else. I could write a whole chapter on the many bad experiences I've had at this location, but I'll try and be concise. I'd say 3/10 times you go there will actually be someone who can do a refill. So chances are (7/10) there won't be anyone trained who can do it. Side note: I don't even use my CO2 for paintball, I actually use mine in an aquarium (it's a thing).The first time I ever went I was under the impression that there's a program where after buying 4 refills you get the 5th for free. I was told by the Manager that checked me out that they no longer do that (BTW I have all the names of every person I've dealt with here - in case Customer Service is interested). On my second trip I found out from an Employee that they actually do this 'shoot for 5' program and that the Manager had told me wrong. Well NOT ONCE have they had the boxes that you mark to track your 'shoot for 5' progress. So I've never achieved a free refill that way. Fast forward to about two months ago - I get a refill and am told by the Employee that the tank ran out before they finished filling my tank all the way. They apologized and told me that next time I would receive a free refill (should have got it in writing (not that, that even matters - just wait)). So I go in a month or so later to refill my barely filled tank from last time. I spoke with the Manager Godfrey (I apologize if I'm spelling that incorrectly) and explained the situation. Well apparently that Employee had moved out-of-state, so I guess that made what I was told now invalid? After MUCH grief and reluctance Godfrey gave me that refill for free. Another fast forward to yesterday - I go in and there's no one that can refill my tank (can't even be surprised by that anymore). The Manager 1 asks how badly I need it, and I express how I would like to receive it today if possible (it really throws my aquarium out of whack to be inconsistent with its CO2). Manager 1 speaks with Manager 2 over their headsets and then tells me if I come tomorrow they'll refill it for free. Manager 1 puts it in writing on an old receipt (I started saving receipts bc I was tired of being "punished" for Dick's never having the boxes I need to participate in the 'shoot for 5' program). So I come in today, Godfrey is the one who can do tank refills and he refills my tank. I show him the SIGNED and DATED note about my free refill today. He looks at me and tells me he remembers me from last month and says something to the effect of "You got a free refill last time, why would you get another one today?". I explained the situation again. He's all, "We can't keep giving you free refills." Okay... I explain how I have NEVER ONCE asked for anything for free from this store, that both times it was the Employee or Manager who unprompted said they would do it. I also had to break down how these occasions were independent of one another and both free refills were for different issues. Never-mind the fact I've missed out on my 5th refill being free MULTIPLE occasions bc they NEVER have the boxes from the program. Both Manager 1 and Manager 2 were even there today! Godfrey finally walks me over to Manager 2 who confirms my story, even though I had a SIGNED AND DATED receipt from Manager 1 already explaining it. So I did get my free refill in the end. But that's not even the point. It's $5 dollars! I'll gladly pay for it every time, but don't tell me I get a free refill and then have a different Manager (aka Godfrey) try and take it away. Be consistent! Follow through! I know that as soon as I walked away from Godfrey and Manager 2 that Godfrey said something to make sure I never get any free refills again. Fine, I don't care. It's never been about getting something for free. It's about sticking to your word and providing GOOD customer service. I feel so insulted. Without typing my whole conversation with Godfrey from today I want it known that he insinuated I was a liar and someone who is trying to just get things for free. Neither of which I am. Don't worry Godfrey, I won't ever be coming back to your store after your rude insinuations and poor customer service. I am truly flabbergasted at how poor almost every single one of my experiences have been. read more

I will never shop in this store again ! I have been shopping here for years and the more time that passes the worse it gets. I have been in about 20 times in the last few weeks to buy ammo because of there 3 box per day limit you have to make several trips to get what you want. The problem is you can never get any help in the ammo department. The average time I have had to wait in all my visits is 10-20 mins just to get someone to the ammo counter. I called the store manager 12 days ago. I was not very happy with his response I thought he was rude so I ask him to have someone from corporate to call me, I have still not heard from anyone nor do I think that I will. BUt the reason I will not be returning to this store is because of my trip this evening. When I got to the ammo counter I was very surprised to see an employee at the counter, I was even more surprised that he just ignored me and walked off. I work hard for my money and will be spending it somewhere that atleast acts like read more
