He showed me the tears and damage around the box, but he told me that everything should still be intact and not damaged. We got home and the treadmill was in good shape. Terrible Inventory and Customer Service - Lost a Customer for Good…read more I placed two separate orders with Academy - one for home delivery and one for curbside pickup. Both orders showed items in stock and were marked as preparing for shipment/pickup. Shortly after, both were canceled because the items were supposedly out of stock. To make things worse, I had to deal with terrible customer service. No real help, no clear answers - just frustration. Now I'm stuck waiting for two separate payment holds to be processed so I can get my money back, all because of their mistake and poor inventory system. This entire experience was an inconvenience from start to finish. Academy has lost me as a customer, and I'll be telling my family to avoid shopping here as well. If you value your time, money, and patience, shop somewhere else.
