It's Wednesday before Father's Day on Sunday. I went to find a gift for my husband, but the addidas selection was limited so I decided on a gift card. I go to the register and the cashier is just looking at me, not can I help you, nothing, so I say I'd like to get a gift card, he says yeah all we got is Happy Birthday! What? I'm supposed to give a Fathers Day gift with a Happy Birthday gift card. So I say I can't use that, Dicks is going to lose money because who doesn't have regular gift cards for the name of their store. He didn't even try to look, check, didn't care! As I leave I see they did have Congratulations gift cards, so he lied in saying that's all they had, but the lack of customer service is just amazing to me! Shame on you Dicks, my husband is a golfer, so we spend lots of money at Dicks but I won't patronize this one again!! read more

The service ? I wouldn't know as I stood there for over 20 min waiting on assistance, and never got it. The app was more useful than the staff. The items in stock are not on the floor and unable to be seen nothing was on display. The value is irrelevant if you can't buy the items read more

Best Dick's Sporting Goods in central Florida. The store is extremely clean and organized. The customer service is also the best in retail. Checking out is always a breeze as they call for back up when the line begins to grow. I would recommend signing up for the free Scorecard Rewards (just ask the cashiers about it), as it is the only way to receive coupons. On top of the scorecard, I would also recommend downloading their phone app on the Apple store or google play. I'm giving a 2 Star only because they seem to have a lot of stuff at fairly decent prices. As it happens, they actually had NONE of what I was looking for. As far as the customer service goes, I give a one star for quantity, not quality. I had no less than 10 employees walk by me in the 15 minutes I was in the store.....NOT ONE, smiled, asked if I needed assistance or even acknowledged my existence. Staff is sparse, prices are to high, and the cashiers seem to be in a hurry for you to be on your way so they can continue socializing. Actually started out as a great experience. bought an item with a warranty. This item was defective, so I was bringing it back. Went to the cashier,(Katy) she was great, said I could go get a replacement. they did not have the exact item so I ask if she could check inventory.( I did find a lesser item to replace original) some other lady,(heavy set, could not see her name tag), says I can only return it within 30 days and I needed to contact the manufacturer . She was rude and I asked her to stop talking. Ask the manager to come over and my kid tells me this lady is giving us dirty looks. We left with the original defective item. I returned it to another Dicks and just got my money back.I read the company policy which states 60 days. Bad example , not a friendly or good place to take your kids. Shameful behavior. read more
