Don't do it. My foreign exchange daughter bought a pair of wrestling shoes in October of 2025. She has worn them to practice and meets. THe soles on both shoes are falling off. Of course we don't have the receipt anymore because she's worn them and intended to keep them. We tried to return them to Dick's. They won't take back worn shoes, that's their policy. I get that policy, but these are clearly damaged, we're not just trying to return them, we need defect free shoes. So we were told to call adida to have the warrant taken care of. I called Adidas and they need a receipt to return them. I had to communicate with her parents across the pond, to get a copy of the bank statement for date, time and dollar amount. All that is in Spanish format, so I had to calculate euros to dollars, and figure out the time difference. I called the store back to find out I had to call corporate. I finally got a copy of the receipt. Then have to call Adidas back to file a claim. What a cluster F***. Do better Dick's. I won't be shopping there again. Scheels it is. read more

It's funny how you can forget to review the places you frequently visit. Dick's is our go to for my son and I when it comes to his gear for Valley sports. They have a great selection of gear across the board and offer a veterans discount. The one negative. Like any of the larger sporting goods stores... It's sometimes tough to get assistance on the floor when you need it. read more

I think they're trying to do some support for covid-19 safe practices by offering curbside pickup of items that you can find online that they have. I noticed staff were all so masked and customers were asked to wear masks I do like to be able to walk in a store and see different things that they have to make my own choices and they have some extensive sections of backpacks for school some yoga mats for home training and some winter clothing,. golf equipment and clothing and other sports ideas. they have a really young staff so sometimes you might get lucky and find someone with a lot of experience but in general you're not going to find experts in everything. again it's about expectations taking a trip online to see what they have and maintaining a safe experience. read more

Well Dick's is a pretty great store.. Nothing like a huge sports store to get you in the mood to hit some balls, throw some passes, or shoot some hoops! Dick's is very well organized and really focuses on the upcoming season of sports! Like for instance in late April the store is pretty much baseball land for better or worse... I think better. t I will say one major difference between here and say a store like Scheel's is my son and I were walking round for a good 20 minutes and saw several store members and no one asked if they could help with anything.. I really wanted to find out more about the baseball simulator they had in the netted space. I thought my son would love that, and I was willing to pay but it seemed closed off and no one around to ask for help! That's really my only complaint, the store is great! And we will be back for sure! read more

I've had nothing but good experiences at Dick's in WDM. I had two items I was looking for and received help immediately to find what I needed on my last visit. One was in stock and another had to be shipped to me. They do price matching, including with Amazon, so be sure you do your studying before going. With that in mind, Dick's can be overpriced. One of the items I wanted (which was priced under $100) was $40 more at Dick's than what I could get it for at Amazon! While they did price match, it made me wonder how important it is to waste time going to a store when I could have had it shipped to me at the lower Amazon price in a day or two...without the stress of pointing out their overpricing issue. In my observation, they also don't have as big of a selection as other places, like Scheels, which is located very close to this store. Really it now comes down to how badly you need an item and how much you want to research and then point out price differences to employees, who then have to get managers and then change the price at the registers. Can you wait a day or two? If so, it might be best to skip the stress. If not, this location does have friendly staff who can help you find what you need in the store. read more

Came in for a golf fitting and the guy, took the clubs away from us and we were asked to leave, because we "didn't have permission to hit"

I was in the market for a treadmill. I did my online research and picked a product that was available at Dick's. I ordered the product in store and expected to pick it up in 2 weeks. When I called to check on the status I found out that it was now in the system as backordered instead of available and on it's way as expected. When something goes unexpected, that is when you find out how a store really does business. While I had to wait another two weeks, Rick (manager maybe, but never said), went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. It may be the best take charge of a problem, out of the box thinking that I could have expected. Nice job. I will be shopping more at Dick's based on this experience. read more

Stopped by here after I couldn't find my size in golf pants at Sports Authority and luckily I ended up finding the size I needed in the color I wanted. The place is very big and set up nicely. Just by looking at the display items I could tell where to go to find the item I need, so no worries about getting lost. I stopped by around 9pm (they close at 9:30pm) and no one helped me when I was in the golf section. One employee walked by and didn't even say hello or ask if I needed any assistance. Usually I don't have questions but I do appreciate it when they ask. When I went to check out all the employees were up front....not really doing anything. I'm giving this place 3 stars since they do have alot of sporting goods items and also more clothing sizes available, but the service just wasn't very good. I'll probably stop by Sports Authority first to see if they have what I need and if they don't, I'll stop by here. read more

The grand opening for Dick's Sporting Goods was today, November 8th, 2013. There was a line outside as people walked in, they were handing out free water bottles. I liked the layout of the store, it was easy to navigate and find what you might be looking for. The staff were all very nice and helpful too. Their prices seemed to be better some some things. I will be going back to pick up some things on my shopping list for the upcoming holiday season! read more

No fishing section? Seriously? Not that dicks have the best fishing tackle selection but still. Oh but a huge golf and work out equipment and bicycles section. I perished the bike section while I was there for a cargo rack for my mountain bike and didn't even see one. Lame. read more

Dick's Sporting Goods is OK. However, Dicks Sporting Goods uses Select Express and Logistics for their delivery company. I purchased a gun safe and for its delivery to my house. Select Express called once and was informed that gun safe was going to the basement and stairs were involved. They told me they would call me back. Two weeks later, I called Select about the delivery. Select said that they would call later that week with a schedule for the delivery. Now it is Monday of the next week and no word. Purchased on Mar 27 and on Apr 17 went to Dicks for a full refund. read more
