They Judy took my rv with no warning it wasn't even parked for 24 hours I will file a report my rv is under investigation as we speak

These people are so rude. My boyfriend's car got towed the other day, and I went to pick it up yesterday. I wasn't rude to the employees, I had no need to be. The guy at the window was so rude and continuously arguing with me that the address I was giving him was incorrect.. lmao. It wasn't, but I guess that's what the lack of a pursuit of education looks like. He also doesn't know his numbers. When the vehicle arrived I was getting yelled at because the tow man called me "6 or 7 times with no response"... because he was calling the wrong number, because the guy at the window apparently can't differentiate 2 and 7. The guy with the vehicle proceeded to rip chains off the car and in doing so messed the bottom of the car up pretty bad. I'll need to call the manager this week for that. He kept glaring at me and mumbling words under his breath. Maybe he's coming down off of a meth bender? I hope y'all are testing your employees because I know what meth looks like and he looked very methy. Despite everything I still said thank you and I hope you have a nice day and he just kept walking forward without acknowledging me. I understand this can be a frustrating job, but don't take your anger out on people just trying to get their property back. I would seriously advise you start drug testing your employees as it's very obvious they are under the influence of heavy stuff. read more

my car was brought to dicks after my roommate crashed it. it took a while for me to get to the lot and retrieve the personal property, but I did make it. right away the front window man was very standoffish and very unprofessional. just because I am short doesn't mean it's okay to talk down to me. anyways as I was going to my car, the little guy was making comments about my car non stop. of course he always said no offense. when I got to the car, it wasn't secured and the window was down. everything in the looked like it had been ransacked. suitcase was open and clothes thrown everywhere, a lot of glass broken, it was a mess. after my 2nd or 3rd trip I realized some things were missing. so, I got to talk to the manager, Jason I think, and told him I was missing stuff. well he had his comments to say that were negative. he had an attitude as well, and when I told him I had items missing he said they weren't in there. so I guess Sheridan police took them? I emailed them and talked to them and told them what you said. dicks towing took, from my car, the following: a mindlab metal detector, ouija board bumbershoot, hot rollers, and my son's Chromebook from school. it was interesting to read the reviews of how other things end up 'lost'. i am letting the school know and going to let them deal with you on that. you did take the metal detector but you forgot 2 parts that go with it. you don't secure the cars in the lot and you really don't care if people steal from the cars because you think just saying it wasn't in there gets you off the hook. it was in there and there were witnesses and I know it was in there because I used it before they left with my car. it's really sad that your company does this and it's even more sad that you condone it. But tell the person who took the stuff that the chrome book was my son's summer school and now thanks to you he was not able to finish the summer assignments and he gets to miss out because summer school was credit recovery. I'm glad you think it's funny. i am sure you think all the other people you stole from was pretty funny too. there was only one nice person there and I should have gotten his name but I told him that he was. also, I needed wifi to get help with stuff from my car and Jason's answer was completely stupid. i asked nicely if you had wifi because I needed to call for help. you laughed again and said, :yeah, but I'm not giving out the password.'. even when I had to call for a ride home, I got to wait out in the thunderstorm because you couldn't repeat a password. Lastly, it was really nice of the mean front window guy to ask the older couple to come in to the office so they would be safe from lightning and how he didn't acknowledge me or offer to go in and be safe. i did contact some cat repair places that use toe companies in the area of what happened and how unprofessional the entire ordeal was. i just don't understand how stealing does not bother you, but I guess it's about money only. My company, Davis Repair, has used Dick's Towing for years and always gotten the best service from them.

These crooks stole my car and did not inform me it was on their lot. I had to search and call the local authorities to find where my car was and even then it was only a guess as to where it could be. When I got to the lot I asked if my car was there and after I gave the VIN (which I know off the top of my head because it's MY VEHICLE) the man asked "What do you plan to do with it?" He asked in a manner of "oh sh*t, we don't have it or we plan on taking it." I asked how much it was to retrieve my vehicle and the man said $790, mind you my vehicle was located about 1,000 yards from their tow yard. I told him I would be back after I got the money. After that I called repeatedly to see a final price and no one would answer the phone (when I showed back in up at the tow yard, no one would help me. I had personal items in the vehicle as well as a $200 jack. I had my mother call to do more of an inquiry and she said that the gentleman who answered the phone told her that my car was there but had been taken by Copart about 4-5 days after I came to inquire about the vehicle. He could not produce a name of whom authorized my vehicle getting released or whom signed to pick it up and he gave her a number to call which is a bogus ass number. My car is a worth $45k so they better prepare for quite a battle because I've got nothing left to lose. Justice will be served. read more

Dick's Towing were the only company that answered my phone call on a Sunday afternoon. Plus, they didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I needed a flatbed tow truck (2 flats on one side), and Robert came to my rescue. Towed me about 6 miles and charged me only about a hundred bucks. I called Dick's after my Subaru wouldn't start due to the key not turning over. Instead of giving me a quote they gave me advice on how to get the key to turn and it totally worked! So although they didn't get my business that day they were very honest and saved me money and time in the process and I know they would've done a great job if I needed them afterall! Called for a tow this morning. Was quoted 2 hours, but "2 1/2 hours" to be on the safe side. 2 1/2 hours later I called for an updated ETA. I got a song and dance about it being "at least another hour.....our trucks got tied up with something." On top of that, the man that answered seemed put off by my call! Common sense says good customer service would be a phone call to the customer(s) waiting and explaining the delays. But no such thing. Wasted pretty much my whole day waiting on them. Their customer service is EXTREMELY poor! I wouldn't even consider using a business with these poor customer service practices. Save yourself the headache and give your business to a company that shows a little more respect to their customers! read more

I needed my car towed from one mechanic to another - I was referred to Dick's towing and told they are great. My experience was the opposite of great. I called first thing in the morning and was immediatley told that they would need to call me back in about 15 minutes. I said "no problem" and proceeded to wait. I finally called back an hour later. They told me they still needed to call me back to arrange the pickup. This happened two more times. Finally - at 4:30 they let me know that they would not be picking up the car. It was to far and they wouldn't do it. I asked to speak to the owner, Robert, he was rude and dismissive. I pushed to undertand why I was strung along the whole day and then told no - why wouldn't someone have been able to tell me this morning that it was out of their service area? That call ended with him hanging up on me. I called back. I said I would pay extra, I had called around and no one was able to do it - he said no. I wasted a whole day trying to get the car picked up and was treated like everything that happened was my fault. I won't be using this company again. They made an already hard situation so much worse and treated their customer with total disregard. read more

My truck recently broke down off Santa Fe and Hampden. After a loud boom and a whole lot of grinding noises I was able to pull off the road onto the shoulder. I called my favorite auto shop, Pride Auto off Broadway, and they recommended Dicks towing. I promptly called Dicks and was told about 30-45 minutes. Robert, the driver called me within 30 min and 5 min later he showed up. I didn't pull my truck into a very convenient spot and he did his best to push it out so he could tow it up. He did a fantastic job, got my truck loaded and on the road within minutes. We pulled off the busy road to check the chains and tighten it up before he took me to Pride. He was a great person to ride with. I gained a whole new level of respect for tow truck drivers. Thanks Robert! And thanks to Dicks for being there. Thanks to Robert Wade at Dick's Towing. I needed to have a car moved (a Rolls Royce) that my late father had not driven in over 20 years - and it soon became clear there was going to be a number of problems in trying to get it out of the garage and positioned in the right way to get it on the tow truck. The unforeseen problems included a passenger vehicle, that had become "unstartable" and was in the way, and an electric garage door that had not worked in years, and could only be pushed up 3/4 of the way - but needed to be completely out of the way . Impressively, Robert fixed the car & the door, and then started to work his way through one problem after another to get the target car out of the garage (glued brakes, broken linkage cable to transmission, 4 tires that need multiple fills because they could not hold air, more...). It took many hours... but we were not charged a single penny more than the original quote. Obviously, I can recommend this company without question. read more
