When I brought my car in later for possible rotor warping they told me it wasn't the brakes it was my alignment (though the car rocked when braking downhill). I took it in to big o who does my alignment and after checking said the break pads had wear marks on them. They finally changed them with warranty replacements and sat me down later to condescendingly tell me-- "We usually don't do this but we will this time. If you bring them in again you'll have to pay for it since you weren't braking with your engine." As if he was in my car watching the way I break. I showed my friend, who is very knowledgeable in cars, the receipts of their work and he told me they up-charged me on the price of parts by about $700.
