Finally, I found Jeff and Square State Insurance on Yelp. He was able to find me a new policy for both home and auto, and save me nearly $100 / mo for very comparable coverage. In the current market, every little bit helps. He was also able to answer all of my questions about the new policies, and how switching would work. I will definitely continue to use him in the future if I need to tweak my coverage again.

Trailstone seems to favor Auto Owners (which has very bad customer support). I have searched for insurance on my own and beat Trailstone twice (And yes for the exact same insurance coverage for both cars and house). So, I no longer use them and no longer pay for their overhead. I explicitly notified Trailstone Insurances that I was not renewing my insurance, house and cars, before the current Auto Owners insurances needed to be renewed (I received confirmation from Trailstone that they got my cancellation request). Trailstone failed to cancel my insurance with Auto Owners (I received a request from Auto Owners to pay for renewal). I got high pressure from Trailstone to sign a Docsign. It was obvious that Auto Owners would require some fees to be paid for late cancellation. Trailstone was trying to make me liable for those fees by signing this Docsign. (I really thought that Ryan Black was taking me for an idiot trying to explain me how to sign a Docsign.... Who doesn't; Chris Barry continuously failed to answer my questions). Trailstone even tried to get my wife to sign the Docsign. It really shows how desperate and dishonest Trailstone is. Chris Barry finally cancelled my Auto Owners insurance (It was about time). What kind of business fails to execute customer requests? Trailstone failed to cancel my policy in a timely manner even being notified before expiration of existing policies. Just stay away from that business.

Not only do they always pick up the phone or write you back immediately but when you need help after a claim is filed they go the extra mile! I have been struggling with a roof hail claim and just could not get ahold of my assigned adjuster to get the contractor paid. Michelle got on the bat phone twice and he called me within the hour! I honestly don't know how people do it without help from a team like this. I moved to Colorado and found out my home insurance was double what I paid on my home in Northern California which mind you was worth 4x the cost of my new build home and had a swimming pool. After the other agent & his office completely screwed up my insurance, had policies lapsing with no notice, automated payments that were botched & the worst communication & lack of responsibility for errors - I called the State Farm headquarters & told them of my experience & how DISGUSTED I was with the FC agent & State Farm. You would think an agent would value & appreciate that you had ELEVEN policies with them.... not this dufus. After going through 3 people who told me I couldn't just "switch" agents - I talked to someone with knowledge & authority -then, I was able to switch to Jody Roberts - whom I found through Yelp ratings.
