Walking in, I was a little worried at first because at Brazilian steakhouses, almost everyone in the restaurant is enjoying the rodizio, with waiters swarming the place with skewers of meat. It wasn't the case here. In fact, I saw no waiters with meat skewers. This worried me because I assumed the meat wouldn't be fresh.
I was wrong, however! My boyfriend and I ordered the rodizio while the others got regular meals. Everyone loved their meal, and I continued to be fed meats, rice, corn, vegetables, and more meat long after they were all finished. The service was great, our server was smiling this huge smile every time he came over to give us more food. We ordered caipirinhas and they were delicious, just like I remember them from Rio.
Once we thought we couldn't go on any longer, our server comes up to us with clean plates. 'What is this?', we ask. He gives a sly smile, '...dessert'. We received roasted pineapple and deep fried bananas. They were delicious and completely unexpected!
For 24€, the rodizio here is a steal!
