I had requested the extension of a small retaining wall, about 11' which would have needed some grading. Not an easy spot to get into with equipment or materials. Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. They came back, took the tree down for us, and thank goodness they did. The tree was rotting all the way through and all the way to the roots. Thirteen weeks later, the project still has not been completed, despite repeated explanation and promises that he would come out. I eventually requested my refund because the work was not completed. Since then, there have been multiple text messages in which I was told I would receive my money back, but the refund still has NOT been paid. It was one excuse after another. I'm done going back and forth and listening to one excuse after another. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly and professionally, but enough is enough with the excuses. I just want what I'm owed. I have notify Jori Martin ahead of time I'll take legal actions if I did not receive the money owed to me. Instead of addressing the refund, Jori now bringing "race" into the situation "white couple and myself a colored man" he stated by text. I find that accusation extremely disturbing! I am simply asking for the refund for a project that was not completed. It's about being treated fairly, professionally, and simply getting my money refunded as promised. Jori, stop making excuses, stop bringing race into this, and simply pay the money owed to us, so we can put this matter behind us. Jori Martin is REFUSING to return my $150.00 refund.
