Paid premium price for our patio cover because, as Dennis put it "you have expensive taste"…read more We are getting our cover repainted, only to find out they used cheap MDF for the slats on the cover. All other wood was good (but there again, the wood was very new or "green"- with sap seeping out, though we were told we were getting kiln-dried #1-grade lumber.) Trust is big with us and it's rather unfortunate it took us this long to find out the corners that were cut on ours. We never haggled price and we're charged an up charge for the premium 8x12 to assimilate a room perimeter instead of a patio cover. Do your homework. Unfortunately we are out of the period to file a complaint.

We did not have any easy project as the former owner had put Venetian plaster on every wall and ceiling. The process to paint over it was arduous...sanding, priming twice and painting. Also redoing the cherry stained cabinets took lots of work. They spent weeks making sure everything was perfect. Without any prodding from us they were proactive making sure everything was flawless.
