Colleen, I stopped by your office yesterday for a refill and I'm usually treated so nicely by your staff but not today. Today I was greeted rudely, asked if I had a mask, asked to go back to my car to get a mask. She eventually let me in but then turned me away saying I have not been there since December and my prescription is no longer good. She did not give me any options to refill the prescription and opened the door for me to leave. I have been there since December, you were so nice, you were leaving and helped me anyways. I paid cash, there are no notes in my file so she told never came in. I'm more upset at the treatment than anything else. I'm always courteous to everyone there and I've never been treated with such disregard. I adore you but I won't give my business to any establishment that treats people the way she treated me. Everyone has a bad day but I don't think it's difficult to be courteous to someone that's being nice, I left feeling confused and embarrassed about how I was treated. I started going to the diet doctor after i was given more medication for diabetes. I had been driving by the location for years. Now that I'm getting older and I saw my dad pass away from diabetes affects. I want to take control of mine. I went to see about my weight loss options. Got to see their male doctor and he wasn't very present..: almost as if I was biting him. He asked me my diet restrictions and at the time, I was trying a vegetarian diet. He said "good luck" with a smirk and proceeded to prescribe their strongest phentermine which later I read about could damage your heart with prolonged use. I had told him I'd used it before but no ekg was performed. It's been a few years since I've gone back but I drive by this business everyday... never going back. read more

I was in need of assistance with losing weight so I was referred to this weight loss facility by my brother and sister in law who have both loss weight and really looks great! Daisy who works at the front desk is the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL person I've ever encountered in the medical field. Her attitude is completely Unacceptable and I Honestly don't know how she is allowed to answer the phones because her customer service skills are severely lacking. She's snarky and degrading when trying to explain instructions to patients. However the practicing nurse was very kind it's just not enough to keep me as a patient. I'm embarrassed I've recommended so many people because they have all told me how rude Daisy is and it's just not acceptable. My first visit to Diet Doctors was in early 2014. I weighed in at my highest weight ever, 305 pounds! My wife has been a happy patient there for a long time, so I decided to give it a try. WOW! What a good decision was. The office staff is really friendly and the physicians spend time with you. I was prescribed FDA approved medication for weight loss, given a low calorie diet, and advised to come in weekly for a vitamin B-12 injection and blood pressure checks. The nutritionist and the nurses always check out what I am eating and give me well needed advise on the healthy way to eat. Nurse Esther has been at Diet Doctors for 15 - 20 years and she is very caring and concerned about my health. Everyone here is happy and positive. It is now September 2015 and I have lost 72 pounds!!! I now weigh 233 pounds and have my energy and self esteem back. Rarely do I review but i feel it necessary after today's experiencewith this wonder office team. I was referred by a friend who was on the medicaion management and diet plan with Dr. Colleen. I started the program July 26th. My schedule is crazy so they were accommodating and assisted with getting a provider to telemedicine phone consult then that evening i was able to get in with the provider and left with diet plan and 2 medications. I have lost 21lbs to date - I started out at 227 and as of this morning I weighed in at 206. I feel great. The medicaion definitely surpresses my appetite and allows me the will power to eat healthy and completely stopped snacking. The team at this location is A++ , I had an issue today and immediately the provider got on the phone to make sure I was ok and answered all my questions....its SUNDAY , she didn't have to even answer. I asked her to call me tomorrow but that blew my mind. They care about what they do and care for their patients. Wonderful Doctor and staff Wonderful program with support I have needed for years.
