Very affordable place to purchase plants. I was looking for some succulent seeds but I guess they only sell fully grown ones. Aside from that they have a variety of pots in all shapes and sizes unique at that . I will more than likely be back to buy some pots once my succulents get bigger. read more

I really like this place in terms of the plants and their prices. I always buy local whenever I can, and this urban garden is cool and I have referred many friends to Dig It! My problem is customer service, which is very important to me. The last few times I have been there, I have found the owner to be unfriendly. Perhaps a better word is, unappreciative. Maybe he is just so laid back that I am interpreting it as unfriendly? On the other hand, I like to hear, especially from the owner of a business, that he/she appreciates your business, especially when it is a repeat customer. I also think staff should say hello and not wait for a customer to be the first one to offer a greeting. These are not major issues; however, these are the kinds of things ( for me, anyway) that help me make the decision as to whether I will come back or go somewhere else. Thanks! read more

Went here for the first time today! Outside has a badass mural and inside had a surprising amount of plans for a new nursery. The two guys that helped me were very nice and helped me look around, a lot of times I'll go to a local place and the employees will be sassy because you don't know everything about the products, which is lame, but that was not the case here. Also, its 4 streets away from my house and pretty cheap, high quality plants for a low price I mean. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone who needs some plants! read more

Really neat plants and cool space with pricing that didn't seem too bad. The lady was very friendly, but the tall guy was giving my kids the stink eye (and no, they weren't being wild or anything) and was not very warm when I asked for some advise or feedback. I would return for the selection and the help from the lady, but I am honestly on the fence due to how the guy was with me. I am not a particularly sensitive person when it comes to customer service, but he just wasn't very nice to me. read more

Ryan and his staff are top notch. They know their business and can guide you to appropriate plants for your needs. They have Saturday morning classes on various plant topics, and I find them incredibly helpful, and passionate about their business. Don't see what you're looking for? So I dont have a green thumb and find it hard to grow any but succulents in AZ, but recency I've moved to a area where there is an abundance of greenery. Our patio gets mild light bc its covered with trees, so I I thought I'd try growing a couple plants to liven up the space. Dig It is around the corner from my home so I stopped in, awesome spread and tons of choices from shrubs, flowering plants, citrus, of course succulents and much more. I ended up buying some gorgeous purple-blue flowers, I figured they would be safe to start with and I can't wait to go back to Dig It and pick up some tomatoes for the summer! read more

I was so excited to visit this nursery because it's a small business in my neighborhood and I wanted some live plants. But, I was really disappointed with the high prices and some sad looking dry plants. So we live in the neighborhood (Cheery Lynn) and have been excited about checking this place out. We walk around looking for plants for both indoor and outdoor. I find one that looks l like it would work in the house and ask one of the guys that works there about a particular plant and he gives me some great feedback. So about to make up my mind and get the plant that I saw and there is no price. I happen to ask the same guy about the plant and he doesn't see the price either, he asks the owner or manager or whomever this guy was and the guy says $500. We saw the same plant, which is twice the size, that is $500 as well so I am confused. Meanwhile the guy who was helping was telling me about the larger plant, they were the same, they need direct light for the flowers to bloom. This guy didn't ask any of that, he didn't look at what I was talking about, he didn't say hold on a second, he just starting berating me with, why do you have an attitude, do you even know what that plant it, what's the problem. Awesome, I am good, as a new business I would think there should be a certain level of customer service. I was calm, I wasn't getting crazy, I just needed clarification. I don't need you to be an asshole to me for no reason. I hope things work out for your business. read more

They have a pretty good plan selection, but they don't grow any of their own plants like most of the nurseries. I think it's amazing they have a nursery downtown, but I've had some bad experiences with the customer service. Also I know first-hand that one of the owners try to take credit for some work that he did not do. As well AZ trying to pry his way into the livelihood of other landscapers which seems kind of contradictory to the whole read more

This place is paradise for anyone who loves unique cactus, succulents, and air plants. The variety of plants they carry is impressive, especially considering the size of the nursery.
