It has to run 5 minutes or so before it would reduce to the 1 foot diameter and he wasn't willing to wait to see and Saud to contact him with any further problems. It continued to happen and I sent him several more videos on the following weeks asking for help. He didn't come out even when he said he would. I sent another video this morning 7/27/23. He called me back and said he could come out tonight at 6 but it would cost me. I said it shouldn't it hasn't worked since it was installed, he continued to argue with me, I was wrong, it was working fine. I hung up the phone. So disappointed, big dead patch in my lawn. I contacted him another time after i was notified by Medford water that my bill skyrocketed, he said he would come out but did not show.

Leave Your Mark When I started working with them, they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating, I was excited to write a rave review to them after our transaction was completed. Then they delivered the rock. It was full of dirt. The owner Pete, personally came out to our house to see it for himself. He was mortified and very apologetic. He said he would pay for the time my landscapers spent cleaning the rock. He said they would pick it up and deliver new, clean rock next week. This is where it goes bad... he calls me later to say, you can have it free if you want to rinse out the dirt. I agree, unwillingly. He calls back 20 minutes later to say, actually, I will pick it up. Come to find out he sold it. So he would rather go back on his word for $145. So I am not very pleased with him at this point, so I said take it back. He is now not sure he can deliver clean rock next week. When his employees picked it up, they gave me a hard time saying the rock was perfectly fine etc... pretty much being jerks and they end up selling it to my neighbor (which I am glad she got it for a good deal, no delivery fee.) Pete, the owner walks away without paying for the landscapers, he promised to pay. Conclusion- ACCOUNTABILITY, I cannot say it enough. As nice as this local company may seem, be careful of their promises. They do not tend to keep them. I felt lied to and I was accused of lying. When he dropped off the money, he said to Ross, "I am not paying for the landscapers to lay down the weed cover." So he shorted us $20. Note... the landscapers had the weed cover laid down over a week ago.

I asked about a coloring and he said that it doesn't do well. Then he said it would turn white. After they took out the old concrete they found what they thought was a good base material in place. They we're supposed to remove it and put in gravel. They left the old in. When I asked what the discount would be he said he would give me $150 off for the gravel. Nothing for the labor they didn't have to do. After the pour they started making the contraction lines. One of the guys who seemed most experienced said there should be lines where the concrete turned. The Forman agreed but said it would be too hard. Well sure enough a week later cracks appeared at those locations. When they where done the Forman said they used too much water. A couple weeks later I call Travis to come see the cracks. He said concrete cracks. Then I told him that the Forman said they used too much water and it would take longer to cure. Travis said you can't use too much water. This of coarse is the leading cause of concrete failure and he said it might take a year to cure. Then as the concrete started to to cure black blotches started showing up. These I learned later were from slopping on a drying agent instead of spraying. Then the crazing a the brown broom marks because the broom was in the mud. In my opinion these guys didn't do a good job and all Travis could say is sorry you didn't like the job we did. $16600. And it might not last long.

I used ChatGPT and Google and luckily found Villa's Landscape Maintenance. I say I was lucky, because there are many businesses, both large and small, in the Medford area. Who to try? I called the number for Villa's and left a message. Shortly after, they called me back and said they could be by my house. at the end of the work day. I told as kept appraised of their eta by text and they were right on time. After giving me a very reasonable estimate, right there on the spot, I was told that they'd look at their schedule and get back to me. How surprised I was the next day! Villa's was able to send a 4 man crew to do the work the next day! Saturday! In no time, the hedge was trimmed and cleaned up and the large shrubs removed. Beautiful work! I was so happy and relieved to have this job taken care of by true professionals. Villa's was polite, respectful of our property and the neighbors' property, removed all cuttings and debris, and spent time answering my questions about future needs. If I don't end up having them do regular maintenance, I certainly will be calling at summer's end for fall pruning! I highly recommend!
