This was our first time to this location in South OKC. My husband's Gastroenterologist scheduled him for an Endoscopy procedure. My husband waited "maybe" 5 minutes at the check in window, and another 5 minutes to fill out the paperwork. We waited approximately 15 minutes before he was called to go into the prep area. His vitals were taken, and an IV started then they called me so I could stay with him until he went into surgery. All of the staff including the Anesthesiologist, and Gastroenterologist were friendly and so very polite. I waited about 15 minutes before I was called to go back to my husbands recovery room. The Gastroenterologist (Dr. Zachery Smith) came in and explained in detail regarding what he found During the procedure and showed us pictures of the areas of concern. Apparently they dont tell you about any extra findings. I just found out 1.5 years later that they found out my right kidney stopped growing. PLEASE TELL PEOPLE THEY ONLY HAVE 1 KIDNEY. Andrea was extremely rude. I called to understand about the process at which doctors review results. I was under the impression that doctors reviews all of the radiologists notes. She doesn't know the answer to that. She said "we don't deal with kidneys." This much is obvious as it isn't a part of the digestive system. She then told me she can have someone set me up an appointment to talk to the doctor. This isn't something that needs an appointment, as i don't want y'all billing me for more money! However, i am the one that just found out i only have one kidney and the doctor that ordered the imaging, ignored it! If i can control my (very VALID) emotions- so can you Andrea! I use to be a patient there. Have had colonoscopies in the past. In 2020 I was scheduled for one. I called 3 days prior and spoke with a lady informing her I had to cancel that I was in the hospital with Covid. She told me to get better and call back with I was doing well Fast forward 2 1/2 years later and they put a $200.00 no show fee ON MY CREDIT! Because someone there didn't do their job. Very sketchy billing practices. Was hung up on four times trying to call the office.Then referred to their billing office. Where I was hung up on twice. After nearly two hours on the phone. They use a four-part billing system 4 different entities will send you a bill. They would not tell you who they are or their business names or addresses or phone numbers.
