It wasn't until he started seeing Dr Moxon that he was finally able to determine the cause. It was a joint effort between Dr Moxon & an allergist who were able to assist him. He has had several scopes and no issues! He has been able to stop both his omeprazole and his cholesterol RX! Inflammation is no joke or anything to dismiss. So grateful to this practice for their time, care, attention and ultimate resolution to his issue.

Getting test results often required repeated follow-ups, and appointment wait times were frequently excessive. My most recent visit was unacceptable. I came in for a follow-up after a serious hospital stay and was turned away because the office claimed they hadn't received a fax, despite it being sent the prior week. No real effort was made to locate it, and I was even refused when I offered to email the records myself. Dr. Dyer never spoke to me directly and instead made dismissive, disrespectful comments to staff within earshot. Given the length of time I was a patient and the circumstances, this was deeply unprofessional. I will not be returning and do not recommend this practice.

Then it all goes down hill from there. She did absolutely nothing for me with the exception of prescribing me several different medications. She gave me an endoscopy told me that there was a flap inside of my stomach that is supposed to keep the acid out, but mine is not working properly. She never gave me a resolution. I've been calling her office for months, leaving messages. No return phone calls whatsoever. Then she refused to fill my medication again, even though in her own very words, this was the only medication that was left on the market, with the exception of Famotidine. She only works two days out the week Monday and Wednesday and I called leaving several message, begging and pleading for someone to call me back. Never received a return phone call for months. A horrific horrible experience. She did absolutely nothing to help me. If I could give her zero stars, I would. She should be ashamed.

I knew I needed to find a medical professional to help me understand and manage my conditions (both of which were causing me some serious problems) and to address the root cause of the disorders, as I believed them to be related. I began seeing Dr. Trish Pearce in September 2017 and I continue to see her on a monthly basis. Dr. Pearce's expertise in the treatment of autoimmune digestive and thyroid disorders has been invaluable to me. I have followed all of her recommendations, including dietary changes and the use of high quality supplements. As a result, my thyroid levels have been within normal range since February 2018 and are being managed solely by myself and Dr. Pearce, without the use of pharmaceuticals. The ulcerative proctitis is under control as well due to Dr. Pearce's treatment plan and a medication prescribed by the gastroenterologist, who I see every six months for medication management. I fully expect, under Dr. Pearce's care and guidance, to reach a point where I no longer need the medication. I consider Dr. Pearce to be my Primary Care Physician as she employs a holistic approach to my healthcare. I have total trust in her as a medical practitioner. Please do yourself and your health a favor and contact Advaita Natural Wellness. Be patient and give yourself the time needed to heal under the care of Dr. Pearce or Dr. Alsop.

I went to Midwest Endoscopy for an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy on the same day. I've had issues with…read moremy stomach for quite sometime, and as it worsened I started feeling consistently tired and weak. Also, my tongue began breaking out in Canker sores that has been a sign to my physicians that I'm likely fighting some type of infection, illness, inflammation. They are very aggressive in your prep, having you taking laxatives a week before the procedure, and being in clear liquids for a full day before the procedure. My procedure was at 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and I was to have no solids after Monday night. My prep kit didn't start until 8pm, so basically went to the bathroom all throughout the night, then finished the prep next morning (day of procedure). Also, the doctors office called my prep kit into two different pharmacies and gave me written instructions stating "do not follow the instructions on the prescription container, follow these instructions provided by the physician". I had to have a physician paged because the instructions made no sense. It's because they gave me a different prep kit than what they provided instructions for, so the physician walked me through the instructions on the bottle (like a child). I shared I understood the instructions if that's what I need to follow, but just needed to know the dosage. He interrupted and said, "I'll get to that", then proceeded to tell me how to fill with water to the line that reads "full to here". Meet with the nurse, meet with Anesthesiologist, we're minutes away from go time, and the doctor comes in to tell me the clinical director will not allow the procedures because of a Canker sore on my tongue. I've literally had sores at all times for a minimum of six months, been seen by multiple doctors, and getting the gut checked out was the next step in figuring it all out. I reached out to friends and colleagues in the medical field and anesthesiology, and this is a quite uncommon policy and decision. The doctor tried to explain and express his understanding, but the fact is, he doesn't understand. Time off of work for me and my spouse. Shuffled schedules, the prep, exhaustion, etc., and absolutely nothing in return. No answers, no feeling better, no next steps. Nothing but wasted time and money, to go through it again with another clinic without an absurd policy to cover their rear ends by being dramatically o early cautious. My anger was and is beyond words. Very kind staff, very disconnected administration. One other note, this is Edward Elmhurst so they are pulling everything from my chart. Three different appointments, most recently a week ago, where the Canker sores on my tongue are a primary area of concern. This could have easily been avoided. I wish I could give negative stars. A clinic that says, 'you show signs of being unwell so we won't provide medical treatment".

I've been leaving voice mail since Tuesday, this is Friday afternoon. Monday morning I'm hunting up a doctor who knows how a telephone works. You might want to do a web search for "Bachar Hamad wrongful death suit", that's an interesting read. What's the point of speaking three languages if it takes you six days to answer a call from the pharmacy? This man has never spoken to me. I saw him briefly as they were knocking me out for an endoscopy after being admitted through the emergency room. Three and a half weeks later the PA in his office advised me I needed to be on antibiotics. (he was not available for the appointment). The pharmacist had concerns about serious (toxic) drug interactions. His office spent five minutes getting my insurance details but did not ask me about my current medications. Silly me, I thought they had it from the hospital. it took them six days to return the call. if this course of antibiotics doesn't fix this I'm going to be looking for a new gastroenterologist who actually freaking communicates with their patients.
