I took my 14 year old daughter there for an ankle injury. We were in and out in under an hour. The employees was amazing!!! Marissa, Katie and Bernice were the medical staff that provided her care. The paperwork was simple and making an appointment online was an option. We did walk in and as soon as we filled out the forms, which took about 5 minutes, we were helped. I came in because I injured my foot 3 weeks prior and it had still been bothering me. I needed a doctors note to get off work to let my foot heal. I explained all of this and they preceded to look at my foot for not even a minute and said "it's probably sprained". No x-ray was given and the doctors note I requested only gave me 2 days off as if that would ever be enough time for an injury to heal. I went to an actual foot doctor the next day explaining the same thing. They immediately x-rayed it and turns out my foot had multiple fractures. So basically I got scammed out of $200 they helped me with nothing. The lady at the front desk was also very unfriendly. read more

Been here plenty of times and the Drs are usually nice but my last Dr was so ignorant. Told me he doesnt have a "magic pill" to make my issue better. Also told me when i had concerns about my pain and my job that "you never have to work again, its not an obligation" in a condescending tone. Also prescribed me a medication to take before work that makes you drowsy/dizzy even though i told him i drive for my job. They were open when I needed them, even though it was a Sunday. I guess they understand that people don't only get sick Monday thru Friday and sometimes rarely on Saturday between the hours of 8 and 5. They were compassionate, kind and took great care of my mom and best of all they took her right in when we arrived. They had to start an IV because of her symptoms and she is a very difficult stick especially since she was dehydrated. in addition, she is a left arm precaution and had numerous prior hospital er visits so her right arm was battered with multiple IV sites. As a matter of fact she was in the ER the Friday before and they couldn't find a vein so they used ultrasound to try to find one for blood work and an IV. They stuck her numerous times and had numerous nurses probe her arm with needles to try to find a vein. I was heartsick to think they would torture her again, but the medical assistant Melissa found the vein without the use of an ultrasound and went in once and it was done. I was amazed and grateful. God willing you never need to go to the urgent care but if you do, Express Medical in Lockport is worth the trip. Great Staff coupled with compassion makes for a wonderful experience. I would out of our way again to frequent this Express Medical. read more

I'm surprised they haven't killed anyone yet due to their inability to read lab reports. I was in stage 4 kidney failure and they sent me home!!!! Finally took myself to the ER and was told I should have been immediately sent to the hospital via ambulance. I showed the ER doctor my lab work from Lockport Express and she was very upset and wanted to know what physician had mistreated me so badly. I was immediately admitted and spent 3 days in the hospital. I will never go here again and know I have to see a kidney doctor regularly until it's hopefully determined that I have no lasting permanent damage to my kidneys. read more

Or call and say come later or even come back. When they tell walk ins it's an hour wait and someone with an appt. Waits over an hour that is very ridiculous. I had a great experience today! I needed to come in for a sinus infection so I made an appointment. Then my daughter's daycare called me and told me I needed to come pick her up for possible pink eye. I called Lockport Express and they said they could see (she's six months). So we both went together and I showed up early and everyone was so helpful. I had two nurses work on getting both of our temperatures and stats at the same time and then we were put in a very clean and cute children's room. The Dr was very nice and helpful and was very sweet to my daughter. I couldn't have asked for a better trip to the Drs, especially when we came together with different issues. read more

I went to get a refill of a med that I ran out of. They refused to refill my prescription because according to them, I've been off it for over a month. I have NOT been off it. In fact, I have a refill just waiting for a doctors approval. This particular medication is hard to withdraw from, and and the withdrawal can cause potentially fatal seizures, stroke, and more. So, they deliberately left me in a potentially life threatening situation. If I die, at least I want it on record that it's because they refused to give me the medication I need. I know the law. They COULD have legally helped me. In fact, I have a prescription at the pharmacy, waiting for a doctor's approval. But they deliberately chose not to, and made me feel like a drug seeker for asking for meds I'm already on. I'm currently looking for a awy to file a formal complaint. At first they were nice. After I told them I had the scrip waiting for me, they became smug and rude. Promised to return my phone call, didn't, I called back, they disconnected me. I wasn't raving or angry. I didn't even raise my voice. The fact is, I'm in real physical danger. If your arm is hanging off, I'm sure they'd help you. For anything else, I'd steer clear. read more

I know everyone is busy. However when your family is given precise covid test times 6 minutes apart, and you receive a text that morning reminding you to be on time, it is unacceptable to wait two hours in the parking lot to be called inside. If walk ins are taken first, then appointments should be started after that. The morning text could have told us that things were behind and adjusted for that. We needed to see the doctor who attended to every detail including calling the hospital I was sent. The doctor communicated a few times to the hospital showing his great concern for the patient. I was sent to a collection agency for their mistake. I gave them the correct insurance card but they used the old one they had in their system instead of the correct one I gave them and so the bill was not paid due to their error. The first bill I got was a letter threatening to send me to collections. I called and said I dont understand it should be covered by insurance. I was told, oh it looks like we submitted the bill using your old insurance card and thats why it wasnt paid. I was told dont worry about it we processed it correctly now and put it back under insurance pending and then what happens, I get sent to a collection agency. I was told oh dont worry we will call the collection agency. Well I Wasnt going to believe them this time so I made sure I sent a letter to the collections disputing it. The waits are minimal for urgent care and I have never felt rushed by the doctors. The nurses are friendly and know what to do.
