My Holter appointment was amazing, that tech was super informative but also quick and efficient, and kind, funny, and relatable, all in about 10 min, I love that woman. My echo tech brought me back super fast and was very professional. I was super annoyed with my stress echo appointment(s), but the front desk employees are some of the nicest and most understanding humans around. When I voiced my concerns, they were extremely empathetic and had amazing communication, and then the tech who brought me back and did the test was also very kind and explained the issues with timing. If you are going here for a stress test, do NOT expect it to be a fast appointment. Block out an hour or two, because even if the staff is all on top of their game, times can still vary and other patients often show up late and make the whole day a delay. Go for earlier in the day, bring a book, and enjoy the lovely TV in the very clean lobby. (And be nice to the parking Czar, I'll bet he puts up with a lot of nonsense.)

Unprofessional, random cancellations with no notice, impossible to reach without waiting on hold for 10 minutes and going through a third party scheduler. A few weeks ago they left me a vague, anxiety provoking voicemail about my test results. They said the doctor required an appointment before I could get my results. After waiting 2 weeks for my appointment, they cancelled last minute without notice (I saw it in my portal.) They then rescheduled me with a different provider who called me an hour late, only to tell me everything looked great. I had to directly ask her about the red flags shown in my results, and she provided no medical insight or consultation. The call lasted 2 minutes. Don't go here, it'll just cause you more stress.

My 15 year old who was diagnosed with tachycardia was told to eat salt use electrolytes and perhaps use some compassion socks to help control the issue. I had to insist on further testing because she determined it wasn't life threatening. The nurse who performed the testing caught her swollen feet not the Dr. My daughters constant exhaustion was never addressed much less the long term effects of her condition. We were never given parameters as to what we should be aiming to keep her heart at - it's ridiculous to have to chase a dr for life quality care.

This Cardiologist Appointment was set up for me from my medical insurance company who is the Primary Care Associates. I was picked up at 8:50 AM from the Free Medical Transport who's an Uber Driver. Then I was dropped off at the Heart and Wellness Center in National City, CA. This place is located in a small strip mall area. I arrived for my appointment at least 30 minutes early at this facility. Then I walked through the front door. Sylvia who was working at the front desk gave me 4 pages on the Intake paperwork that was required for me to fill out as their new patient for Dr. Nancy Ly, my new Cardiologist. Afterwards, I gave my completed (4 pages) Intake paperwork back to Sylvia. I waited inside the waiting room lobby. I saw the majority of their patients were of Hispanic descent. Then about 15 minutes later my name was called by one of their medical assistants. The medical assistant her name is Joyce walked over to one of their exam rooms and then Her the said to take off my sweater because Joyce us going to take my Blood Pressure. After Joyce took my Blood Pressure she told me that my level was a little elevated. My Blood Pressure Reading was 146/70. Dr. Nancy Ly, this Cardiologist said to me that she will give me a Blood Pressure Monitor Device. Dr Nancy Ly told me the Blood Pressure Monitor Machine is FREE to me to use since I don't have Dr. Nancy LY. told me, when I have my next appointment with her on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 10 AM, Dr. Ly will give me one of their Blood Pressure Monitor Devices for FREE. Joyce this medical assistant asked me some personal questions about my medical history. Then the time was up and it was 9:30 AM. Then Joyce left the exam room, Then Dr. Nancy Ly , the Cardiologist walked into the Exam Room. Dr. Ly was very friendly and professional in speaking with me. Dr. Ly told me that she has received all of my medical records from Sharp Memorial Emergency Department Hospital in San Diego. I said that's good for me to know. Dr. Nancy LY said she has received these 2 CAT SCANS on my Head, Neck, and on my lower back. Dr. Nancy Ly said she looked at my 2 recent CAT SCANS from August 14, 2026 and also the Date of Service was on August 17, 2026. Dr. Nancy Ly , said to me my Tests Results said My 2 DVT's (Blood Clots) have disappeared since I was taking the new Blood Thinner ELIQUIS Prescription Medication. I don't have any more Blood Clots in my right leg. But Dr. Nancy Ly said she still wants me to to continue taking the medication ELIQUIS at a lower dosage for a 3 month period. Because for me to continue taking the ELIQUIS medication, this blood thinner will prevent my blood from creating new blood clots in my veins Then Dr. Nancy Ly said she wants me to continue to take the ELIQUIS pills but use a smaller dosage. I said okay. Dr. Nancy Ly says she wants me to continue writing down my Blood Pressure Reading every day which is once in the morning and once in the evening. I said that's a great way to make sure that my Blood Pressure is more at an accurate level. I enjoyed my meeting with Dr. Nancy Ly on that date. Dr. Ly is a very kind and caring person. I felt very comfortable discussing my medical condition with her. I will definitely see Dr. Nancy Ly again in the future.
