The staff is friendly and do their jobs well However, they need more people worming on such a busy location. One would think management would see the need and accommodate accordingly. There is a large desk in front the lobby which is never staffed. If it goes unstaffed, remove it and put in more chairs. I always go early in the morning and I'm in and out fairly quickly. The staff is always friendly and good at drawing blood.

Terrible customer service and client care. Extremely rude and pushy staff. Refused to do my 2 hour glucose test because they "close for lunch at 12 and it's 10:02 so we won't be able to do it" after they made me wait 40 minutes in the lobby with 0 acknowledgment and 0 communication or instructions whatsoever. She then proceeded to lecture me on how "I should've known to let them know". It's not the fact that they were unable to do the test, I can understand that. 15 minutes until closing time and all they keep saying is how they close soon they don't know if they can do the lab work. Not one other person is in here. They have tried to say to go to another lab because they are off soon. I understand wanting to go home but if you close at 3:15 then close or say we take our last patient at 3:15. Used this location for the first time today for my labs. The waiting room was clean, with coffee and water available for free. That was a nice touch as there was a steady flow of patients. I arrived at about 8:20 am. There was a wait of about 15-20 minutes. Even though there was a steady flow of patients, the technicians Kim and Abby, who took my information and drew my blood had smiles on their faces and were in good spirits. I'll start with saying that I tend to faint in medical situations, especially blood draw, so I was relieved that the room I went into had the option to sit or lie down. I was there to complete the dreaded glucose test for pregnancy that did not end well for me due to getting sick. However, the lady assisting me, I believe her name was Mikey, was so professional and comforting during the whole process. Definitely made a very embarrassing experience better. read more

Convenient location for Orcutt residents needing to accomplish lab work or x-rays. They are open 700am - 330pm, M-F, and are closed for lunch from 12-1pm. I arrived at 715am on a Wednesday for the lab, and there was a line of about 10 people waiting outside (COVID, so they call in people one at a time). I came back later in the morning (around 930am) and there was only one person ahead of me. This is a review of Orcutt LAB only! Urgent care is great. I have a teen with a phobia of getting blood drawn and had a HORRIBLE experience with the short, older woman there. She yelled at her when she started crying and asked for a little more time to calm down. We were the only people in the place so she wasn't holding anyone up. Our whole experience was about 2 minutes so that should tell you how she patient this lady was. In the past, she's been able to calm herself down after about five minutes and go through with the draw. This is the first time I've had someone literally yell at my daughter and then say she "had teens" so she had to be firm. I'll never go back or recommend this place. This woman thinks she's way more important than she is. She can take her phlebotomy certificate and shove it. read more

I hope I am reviewing the correct Dignity facility? I am reviewing Marion Breast Imaging Center way past due! On January of 2020 I called the facility and was very CLEAR I needed to be in the network for my annual preventive mammogram. The front desk assured me I was in network with my Insurance?? So I go and what I think is my annual mammogram. Reconfirming upon arrival my concerns about my Ghetto Insurance. I got the mammo and 3 days later the Doctor saw something and I need to do another Mammogram and Ultra Sound! Ughs! She then told me my Insurance would not pay and if we billed through them it would be $1500? So they offered me a cash pay of $345. I paid it and then the Dr said he wanted to do a MRI at $4k...I said no can do, and be ignorantly and roll with the punch!! Then 8 months later after I got laid off in the middle of the {Pandemic I owed Dignity $801 for the preventive mammo on 1/6/2020! I am on EDD and Dignity will not assist me to lower bill until I prove I have spent $4670 on medical bills and that does not include Health Ins. Cost!!! so SAD!! read more

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fast, friendly, efficient, and painless. I'm afraid of needles and not very pain tolerant, Anthony didn't hurt me at all and was so nice. Fran did my X-ray, quick, friendly, and answered any questions I had. Parking was easy. All around wonderful experience. I'd definitely come back for my lab and imaging needs. read more

Unable to find review submission for the location at Palisades across from Marian Hospital. Wow. They won't take credit cards, debit cards or checks but only cash but will not give change for higher bills. So. Now they get a generous tip? Shame on Dignity Health, formally Catholic Healthcare West. Dignity? I don't think so. Ethics? I don't think so.
