Went in to be seen and they said I needed a referral from my primary. I have never heard of an urgent care needing a referral WTF.....it's an urgent care. I don't have the time for a damn referral from my doctor, since those usually take days if you're not constantly involved in pushing the referral though and is not important enough for ER read more

I ended up going back again to see Dr. Rachel Mendoza whom I highly recommend. I saw her in december 2021 for my rotator cuff and got a cortisone shot when nobody else would assist me as I was in so much pain. Todays visit went great! She gave me another shot which was minimally painful and ai was on my way. I wish I could have her as my doctor because she really shows how much she cares about her patients and the staff there is also very nice too. Great place especially since it is a walk in and you aren't waiting hours either read more

Been visiting this doctor's office since about 2015, and over the last couple years customer service has really declined. I got a call from "Linda" who was absolutely rude, didn't want to listen and didn't offer any means to help me. When trying to explain my situation I was totally dismissed by her. When I went into the office to make a formal complaint and get my paperwork, "the manager" couldn't really be bothered to step away from what she was doing to listen to my concerns, only expressed an apology, and didn't even bother to help me with the original issue. All this because I needed some paperwork filled out and the two doctors offices that are both dignity health couldn't be bothered. Will no longer patron this location. read more

Really frustrated with this place. I feel like they just waste my time and don't want to actually help me. all they care about is flu and covid and everything else goes by the wayside. Covid negative and flu negative (test regularly and already had it earlier this year) It took me 3 visits to get a much needed antibiotic. I was getting desperate and had so much anxiety and didn't know what else to do as I was getting progressively worse. I have all the symptoms of pneumonia and there is no way (without doing a sputum culture) that they could tell the cause, they just assume everything is viral. I had to really argue with the provider and finally thankfully on the 3rd visit she, extremely reluctantly, prescribed antibiotics and 12 hours in I am already feeling a bit better. hopefully I don't have long term issues and scar tissue in my lungs that could have been prevented by being treated sooner. They did the same thing to me when I had a terrible sinus infection and let me suffer for 2 1/2 weeks. That time I was so desperate to get help and get rid of the sinus headache that I had to have someone drive me to the next town and was given antibiotics right away. I feel sorry for patients that can't advocate for themselves. I was having trouble conveying my symptoms myself because I felt so horrible and my anxiety levels were very high going in because I know how they are here. They are big on chest x-rays (they've wanted one every single visit- twice in the same week!) steroids and referring you out every single visit but it's darn near impossible to get an antibiotic post covid. I realize we are in a pandemic and antibiotic resistant infections are occurring due to previous over prescribed antibiotics but good grief, other infections do exist and many patients are getting secondary bacterial infections post viral covid, which is what I believe happened to me. No need to give the patients such a hard time and make them suffer for so long. It wasn't a good visit but I am thankful that the provider did give me an antibiotic despite her clear feelings about it and not wanting to deal with me. Unfortunately, dignity has become extremely political. I know a lot of great MA's and the front office staff that work there and once worked for dignity myself, but wow have things changed. So stressful. Not a lot of options in Lompoc. read more

One star only because zero was not an option. My 22 yr old daughter visited this facility, waited hours, went home with a topical medication. Two days later she was much worse. Called this facility and they said to come back in. I went with her to this appointment, and when we arrived we found their doors locked at 2:30 PM (posted hours 9-3 that day). Knocked, employee came to the door and said " provider has stated they are at maximum capacity and cannot take any more patients." We told her we had just called and were told to come in. She said people had walked in since our call (apx 1/2 hr prior), and insisted (with kindness and professionalism) we couldn't be seen. We left with my daughter holding back tears. As a side note, we saw only one person in their waiting room and the parking lot was near empty. Long story short, she was seen later that same day by a different urgent care, given an entirely different diagnosis, and told why that initial topical prescription had actually made things worse. BAD experience on MANY levels. Having a doctorate myself, and previously owning a practice, it's hard to see patients being treated this way, and even more disturbing is the fact they are being misdiagnosed. The employee used the term "provider" which leads me to believe patients are being seen by physicians assistants and not actual physicians. Stay clear of this place ... doctor's orders! And yes, this facility will be finding more official papers on this incident. read more

I had to take my little 8 year old son when he fell and hit his head . They were kind from the very beginning . They were very professional at the front desk. When he was roomed the medical assistant was very patient with him as well . We were able to see Dr. Eskstrum and he was very patient as well . The wait was not that long even though we were a walk in visit . read more

Was happy to hear my son could get his sports physical on a walk in basis. Was really bummed that the waiting room is kept empty only so people will come in thinking there is no wait. We sat in a tiny room for atleast an hour and 15 min. Before we were seen by a physician, that was after the 15 min. Wait in the front lobby waiting room. Your best bet would be to schedule a check up through your doctor's office and leave this place to the emergency and urgent care patients. The staff was very nice. The wait was very long. read more

Have been a user for 15+ years. Good service , wait can be long because they do not make appointments but on the other hand having just perforated my leg in a bike crash , decided my throat infection is not going away on a Saturday afternoon this is a good choice. read more
