If I could do 0 stars I would. Dr. Goyal and her staff are disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I stopped seeing her when she openly mocked me and was loudly laughing about me to her staff down the hall while I was sitting in the treatment room waiting to be seen. All because she disagreed with the diagnosis of a specialist SHE sent me to. She has been knowingly over charging my husband and putting the burden on him to investigate and correct issues with the insurance instead of being a professional and helping him get it corrected. Now even after it's been corrected she is refusing to refund us until she gets paid by the insurance company. It is not our responsibility to front the cost of insurance, he never should have been charged in the first place. She also yelled at me on the phone for 30 minutes because we called and asked her for a referral after my husband was brutally assaulted and needed to see on ophthalmologist for severe orbital fractures. Apparently we didn't follow "common procedure" like we would know what common procedure is for being assaulted by someone. She is also extremely pushy about managing all of your care and doesn't like for you to see specialists. She just wants to shove drugs at you and will ridicule you if you ask to speak to a specialist for your problems. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Doesn't care about her patients, she just wants to make as much money as she can with as little effort as possible. All of her front office staff follow her lead and are also extremely rude. Anyone leaving her a good review doesn't know any better. Dr. Goyal is the embodiment of what is wrong with the healthcare industry today. Find a different doctor. The most unprofessional "doctor" I have ever seen in my life. Was over 30 mins late, raised her voice in front of my 3 year old so I decided to leave the appointment. She then wouldn't give my money back and continued to raise her voice at me while my son was there holding my hand. I have never been treated like this in front of my child and by a doctor at that! She lacks composure! completely refused to refund me or lower her voice so I could continue to be seen for my symptoms. I had to run out of there before she scared my child any more. read more

She drafts out a plan to help you and then takes action! She will do whatever it takes to help you. Her front office staff is nice. Communication can use some improvement but great overall. Dr. Goyal is very intelligent and smart in her profession. She is good in diagnosing and treating the illness. She takes time to listen to our concerns and makes sure to address them. Whenever she recommends to a specialist she makes sure to follow up with them and to get the results. Her staff is very friendly and intelligent. My new primary care doctor is such a caring and professional person. She is ALWAYS available to talk with me or calls me back very promptly. Most of the time I can handle what I need with her front desk help but she wants to talk with me instead. If her front desk is busy she works by helping to check in patients, doing all the preliminary stuff that the medical assistants normally do. Her people love her as do her patients. i have read these reviews and most of them were not what I have experienced with Dr. Goyal. She is Very Caring and listens to all of my problems, which I have plenty. It sounds to me that these people only want to make and appointment , walk into the office and see the doctor within 2 minutes and walk back out cured. Grow up it doesn't work that way. REVIEWS ON UHC WEBSITE! This doctor grossly over bills by upcoding the office visits she submits to the insurance companies. Doctors like her are the reason why healthcare in the US is almost unaffordable. I was going to her for medication management. This is an office visit that requires a 99212 code. She has been billing a 99214!! Billing my insurance company $500 for a medication management office visit. I timed my face to face time with her once and it was less than 6 minutes and most of that time was her standing in front of me and sending my prescriptions to the pharmacy! That's it! Yet she is billing the insurance company $500! After my first office visit with her, I raised concern once my insurance had processed the claim about the price and she stated that everything would be fixed. I told her that I had been taking the same medication for over 8 yrs and had never paid that much for an office visit and she assured me that it would be the same price that I was paying my other doctor (I only switched doctors because my previous PCP moved her practice to College Station). She is not trustworthy either. She told me that because I was taking Adderall, treatment guidelines required me to see her every month. WHAT GUIDELINES? Again, I have been taking this medication for years and only ever saw my other doctor once every 3 months. When I brought this up, she agreed to let me see her every other month. I guess so she could consistently bill my insurance 500 for every visit. I was confused at how she was able to upcode the visit by that much and get this she had my diagnosis as HYPERLIPIDEMIA! I have never had hyperlipidemia before, and my labs did not support it. When I brought this to her attention, she CHANGED MY LABS IN THE COMPUTER!! I even sent her proof that I had labs done at a different lab and they did not support that diagnosis. She also tried to lie to me about the reference number for a normal lab. When I corrected her, she told me that different labs had different reference numbers! HA! On one of the claims, she billed a pathology lab code and charged an extra $200 to the office visit when there was no tissue lab done at all during that visit. Then every time I went to the office, they told me that I didn't owe anything. She did not send me a bill for 7 months and then she demanded payment in full immediately as if I had not told her there was concern over the amounts that she was billing. During my last office visit, I asked how much it would be and the girl at the front desk told me $85 which I paid at that time. However, due to her overbilling the insurance company and charging for labs that weren't done, it came out to be $163 after she billed the insurance company $550!! I never even paid that much for an hour-long visit with my psychiatrist! It gets worse!! she blocked my access to my electronic health records when I wouldn't pay her immediately due to all the concerns. THAT IS ILLEGAL!! A DOCTOR CANNOT WITHHOLD MEDICAL RECORDS DUE TO THE PATIENT HAVING A BALANCE! She agreed to change her billing code to 99213 (which is still too high!) going forward but refused to go back and amend the bills that she have already submitted. The simple fact that she agreed to change the code further confirms that she knows she is overbilling! THIS IS FRAUD! I have already contacted the fraud department at my insurance company and will also be contacting the medical board, Health and Human Services, and the Office of Civil Rights. I will also be suing her in regard to her blocking my access to my electronic health records. I have two associates who have also seen this provider and have had to appeal every single one of their office visits as well. She was also charging them $500/visit! read more

When people talk about her office, please remember she is a small business, does everything by herself and experiences staffing shortages like everyone else. My first and last visit was yesterday 1/17/2023. Will keep this as brief as possible, Front office staff was at best unprofessional not only in appearance but in performance. When I called in to make an appointment, the young lady kept me on the phone 20 minutes asking questions about my health as she entered the information into their system. Then they sent me a link to fill out forms prior to my office visit as this would help speed up the process. I thought to myself this is very efficient. The lady told me on the phone if I filled out the online forms I only needed to show up 15 minutes prior to my 11:00 Appointment. I gladly prefilled out all the require forms and gladly provided the information requested. The day of the appointment, I showed up 30 minutes early and I am glad I did. They had additional forms for me to fill out that they had not sent me, plus they wanted me to fill out the same forms I had filled out in advance electronically. But I get ahead of myself. When I first arrived NO ONE but NO ONE was wearing a mask, the young lady behind the counter told me I had to wear a mask, I guess she saw the puzzled look on my face as I looked at the entire staff unmask. She said, "I guess I should put my on" and then she pointed to a sign that stated they sold mask for $1.00. Again, there were 3 ladies behind the counter none were wearing a mask and then the nurse came out of a back office and she to was unmasked. Screw the mask issue this is a minor grievance against the so-called medical office. I put on my mask as required in the unmasked setting. Again, my appointment was at 11:00 at a little after 11 the nurse came out and called my name; at this point I am thinking at least they are seeing me on time. She took my weight, height and blood pressure in one room, walked me to another room and proceeded to as me questions that she begins to entering into the system. The questions she asked were the same I had previously answered on the prior forms. I just went with the flow and answered them again for the 3rd time. Then she asked me what my main health concern is; and I informed her about my health issues. She told me the Doctor would be with me in a few minutes, she left the room and closed the door. I sat there and entertained myself by watching YouTube videos. After about an hour I could smell food in the hallway and checking my watch I noticed that it was now after 12:00. I thought oh great it is lunch time and I had still not seen the Dr. I gave it a few more minutes and then decided I was at the wrong place. 11:00 appointment and now it is passed noon and still no Dr in sight. I said I was going to keep this short, so let me get to the point. I got up, gathered my coat and hat opened the door, walked down the hallway past the front desk and out the door, all I heard was crickets. I told myself, that the Dr. would surely call to find out why I didn't wait as I was there to seek a PC and have test done for cancer. Glad, I didn't hold my breath for that phone call. This Doctor could care less, and her staff reflects that. Totally lackadaisical and unprofessional but they are dedicated to the $1 for a mask Profit Center even if none of them wear a mask. I didn't post this yesterday as I wanted to see if the Doctor or any of the staff would contact me to see why I left without seeing the Doctor. Obviously, they are used to people walking out; I base this on other reviews I read on Yelp and Google. It is now 12:05 a full 24 hours later and still crickets from their office. If the good Dr. finds that this is a false review, she and her staff have all my contact information. read more

VERY RUDE OFFICE STAFF MEMBER. I had minimal engagement with this physician after having to endure a very disrespectful and argumentative front office staff member. This was my first time visiting trying to establish primary care and the front office staff was very rude. She greeted me by saying, "Um, yes can I help you with something?". I found this to be very odd given this is a doc. office and patients would be coming in to be seen for an appointment. While filling out the forms which are received in what seems to be HIPAA violation (reusable laminated papers and perm. marker pens) the front office worker continued to be disrespectful to me in the tone and manner of which she spoke to me and several other patients. I decided I did not want to continue with establishing care (and have to deal with the office staff any further) and asked to cancel my appt. The lady questioned me as to why I wanted to cancel to which I did not want to engage in an argument but she insisted and so I let her know I felt she was very disrespectful. She wanted to know examples of how but all I wanted was to cancel my appt and leave. She got upset and said "ok, your appt is cancelled you can leave now". That was not ok with me given she still had a lot of my information written on the laminated paper in permanent marker and I wanted to ensure it was removed, especially by someone who wasn't so unprofessional. I also wanted to ensure there was nothing else I had to do before leaving and she refused to tell me until several minutes later when she said they'll be charging me a cancellation fee of $25. Which was fine at this point I didn't care but that's exactly what I was asking when requesting if there was anything else I needed to do or know I'm cancelling my appt before she so rudely dismissed me from the office. A very unprofessional argument ensued since I did not feel comfortable leaving until I knew my personal information would be removed and I no longer wanted to speak to this person. Another front office person came to help and was about to erase the information for me but the rude staff member returned and took them from her before she could. She proceeded to argue with me some more and said the doctor said I could leave now. I still wasn't comfortable with that and asked to speak to the doctor. She told me she was seeing a patient and on the phone I said I'd wait. She then went to get the doctor because I'm her words "this is getting ridiculous". The doctor finally came out to speak with me and argued with me on why I didn't feel comfortable with being told "your appt is cancelled you can leave now" and finding that as reassuring. The other office staff member kindly started to erase my information from the laminated papers which is all I wanted and she even apologized for everything going on. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Goyal for two years and she was able to assist me in getting my blood pressure under control to the point where I can cut in half the prescriptions first prescribed. When I have a health concern, Dr. Goyal listens and then offers options for treatment with detailed explanations. I highly recommend Dr. Goyal as a Primary Care Physician. read more
