(see photo). After 3 months with Dr.Goyal, I am so much worse that I can barely care for myself. After bloodwork, I was told by Dr. Goyal that I was diabetic. The degree of neglect constitutes a Breach of Medical Ethics. The Staff was Horrible!!! I was treated rudely, angrily, and with a complete lack of compassion. During one phone call with Dr. Goyal, she hung up on me. I literally begged the staff to help me get through to her, to no avail. I have been trying to research Diabetes myself. I have never complained about an MD before but will be sending this to the appropriate board for review. Take note, Dr. Goyal first appeared to be very kind. Do not let that fool you. Please read all of the other bad reviews. 1. Never explained Diabetes at all. 2. Never discussed Diabetic Diet at all. 3. Never prescribed Metformin, when I could not afford $700 a month for Ozempic. 4. Never discussed any of the many other diabetic medication which could be less expensive. 5. Never suggested a Glucose Monitor. 6. Never ordered Physical Therapist to access me for Wheelchair. 7. Never ordered Home Health. 8. Never explained Chronic Fatigue/ Myalgic Encephalitis to Staff. 9. Never explained to Staff my Extreme Sensitivity to Light and Noise and need to speak to me very slowly and quietly. 10. Never returned my 5 phone calls placed every Monday for 5 weeks. 11. Never delivered a month of Wegovey samples to my home as promised in July. 12. Never explained Wegovy must be taken at the same time daily, which is impossible with Severe Chronic Fatigue/ Myalgic Encephalitis. 13. Never acknowledged that Wegovy is not approved for diabetes and therefore would not be approved by insurance company. 14. Therefore, I did not have any diabetic medication in three months. 15. Did not understand Severe Chronic Fatigue/Myalgic Encephalitis, because she said, " I do not have any physical or biological means to prove you need an electric wheelchair." 16. Staff was rude and even accused me of lying. 17. At this point, I canceled all future appointments,and in search for a new MD. 18. However, without a wheelchair of any kind, I cannot walk from my front door to a car, to get to a new MD. 19. I have been disabled and a shut in for 15 years. 20. My overall health and ability to care for myself has been greatly reduced because of Dr. Goyal's complete disregard for my care. This is a question of Medical Ethics which must be addressed.

Thought I'd found a really good replacement for my previous Dr of almost 30 years. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I recently requested a visit for lab work due to a handful of health concerns. It took them 1 month to call with results. Labcorp notified me my results were posted at their portal after 10 days. I was able to view and download the results but still needed Dr Phipps' expert opinion on most of it. I expected a call within days. If I had them, they had them. It took them three weeks to call me with results. I called and messaged during that time asking for feedback or updates on when I could expect to hear anything. I went three weeks with no response. When I did finally get a call, it was a joke. It was apparent he'd spent no time on the results and gave the nurse a few buzzwords to appease me. The labcorp results showed my bloodwork numbers from last Sept right next to the new results. When I asked what the Dr thought about the improvement (some dramatic) over the previous 6 months, I was told "oh he didn't have those in front of them". Bullshit. I had them. He had them. It was lazy and extremely disappointing. Also, during my visit Dr Phipps recommended a new Rx that he believed would be better for me when compared to what I was currently taking. Immediately there were pharmacy and insurance problems. I needed Dr Phipps to do one simple thing so I could proceed. I called and messaged repeatedly asking for his help. To this day, 5.5 weeks later, I still have not received a response to these requests. If you're looking for a family physician that will provide timely and thorough results, consistent and timely feedback/communication, and the level of "give a damn" that you'd expect from a family physician, Phipps Family Medicine is not for you!

Expect to spend about $100 and leave with the same issues that you had when you came in, save for the minor amount of medicine. I wouldn't return here if I had an arm dangling from my shoulder.

No prescriptions were called in. I tried to contact the office for days, the front desk just hangs up on you and the answering service has no idea what to do. Good thing my prescription wasn't critical because I got ZERO!! Very unsettling and bizarre. I'm not sure what's going on at that place but it's not medical care.
