An excellent facility and staff. One of the places to go if one wants to play or learn pickleball in Maryland. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Great courts. Expanding... the court reserve app is also a nice touch.

The women's selection of clothes is perfect! I love love love golf attire. I have been buying pieces from each golf course like the guys do and the fabric and material is great. I rather wear golf shirts as lounge wear because of the comfort. My PGA shirt from Florida is so comfy. With that said although PGA is the biggest Golf store it stays crowded and bays are usually full. They definitely have more variety but not sure they have the same trade in deal as the competitors. Overall the value is great and golf stuff is pretty competitive in price. We come often when we are actually here in the DMV on the weekends. Come September I'll have to take my golf set on the road and I'm grateful they had smaller carrying cases so I can just take my range clubs to practice. This is the ultimate rich person sport so fair warning! This is not for the cheapskates!

I brought a friend who's new to golf to try some irons. We were told to wait, and after about 10 minutes, an employee named Dan took us to a simulator. When my friend said he wanted to "hit balls," Dan immediately got condescending and reprimanded us, even though it was clear my friend was new and simply misspoke. Later, when I asked to try a couple clubs while my friend grabbed others, Dan asked if I planned to buy anything. I said possibly, depending on the data and pricing. He responded with a sarcastic comment implying I was just there to "bang balls," then walked off saying, "have fun banging balls." The entire interaction was unprofessional and left a really bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after this experience.

Wow, that was nice surprise for me as the only real tennis store I have been to in the past 10 yrs is holabird in baltimore. I had to check out tennistopia, and I do remember their ads on the back of tennis magazines like 6 or 7 yrs ago. First impression, it's clean, very modern, bright, and organized. I like the looks of it. No one came up to me and harass me, I like that. Quickly I realized they do not carry a lot of products or brands. I noticed they mostly carry babolat and wilson racquets, some head and prince. If I was looking for PK, volkl, asics, gamma racquets, I would be out of luck here. Still for the major brands, they have mostly the pro series. Shoes wise, the same thing there as well, mostly player's model. I don't buy crazy overpriced nylon shirts and shorts, so I did not noticed much of their selections. What I like is that this store is a fresh breeze of air from holabird, friendly staff, well organize. They don't have a crazy owner who runs up to me and harass me like holabird. They have a decent lot of used racquet for sale. Their sales selection have really steep discount. What I am not a fan of is the limited selections on racquet and shoes models. Their stringing price is pretty high. Maybe it's the rich MoCo where $22 for labor is the norm, compared to us poor baltimorean who are expecting $12-16. Good thing I string my own...

I got into running in the past couple years and am so glad I found Road Runner Sports. Each time I…read morehave gone, the staff is super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. In a full consultation, they will watch you walk/run on a treadmill, scan your foot, discuss their suggestions, possibly fit you for custom insoles, and bring you shoes to try on. They also have other types of running clothing, gadgets, and fuel as well. Some other reviews have noted that it can take a while to be seen-- this is true, so I try to plan my trip at a less busy hour if possible. I do think they should look into an appointment scheduling system to help combat this (hence why I took away one star from my review). Again, all of my interactions with the staff have been great. Some will try and upsell you more than others. I did go ahead and accept the VIP 19.99/yr membership, as I go through more than one pair of shoes in a year so I do find the benefits to be worth it for me personally. Beware though-- that is only the introductory rate. The next year the membership rate is double the cost.

My podiatrist recommended Road Runner Sports for shoe inserts and support shoes. Without clearing…read morethe cost with me beforehand, the salesperson created my inserts. She then tried several pairs of shoes in various sizes, and tried to sell me a pair that didn't fit. I bought a VIP membership, and ordered a pair she said SHOULD fit, but without my approval she arranged to deliver then directly to me. Nearly a week layer they arrived and I tried to break them in over three days, an hour at a time around the house. No dice-painfully narrow. I took them back, but they still didn't have my size and again tried to sell me shoes too long for my foot! I wound up ordering a wider pair, and now this redo will arrive two days after I leave for my walking vacation. I was denied a VIP discount for a shirt on my second visit... because I was returning the first purchase (even though I replaced it with the second order). I regret I can't recommend Road Runner at this time..
