I love shopping at Dillard's anytime I'm in town! The people are so nice and they have a decent selection of high quality clothes and wares. I especially love coming in the winter because it's a great place for Christmas gifts. read more

Tag team effort of excellence by Jess and Will. I got everything I needed and wasn't smothered. Wow do I hate it when the sales people are super aggressive. Not here. Just the right amount of presence. And the dressing rooms aren't locked like the ones in Vegas. I hate it when you have to find the warden to open a dressing room. Pleasantly not crowded and lots of great values. This Dillards is better than the ones in Las Vegas. Better selection too. I will be back. Thanks again Will and Jess. read more

Unfortunately, department stores like Dillard's seem to be dying. The store is huge but with limited product and even fewer employees. (Except the men's department - there always seems to be an employee there who will hunt you down and try to be helpful but overly so.) I've been here a few times and I have never found what I was looking for or even found a splurge purchase. I would much rather buy something online or go to the JCPenney's just a few spots over. read more

Back in September I purchased a pair of medium priced sunglasses. Within a month the war piece broke. Plastic) I went back to return for a credit and planned on purchasing a different brand. I had the credit card receipt on my account but not the actual receipt. The sales girl said no refund or credit because I didn't have the original receipt. The next in line supervisor said same thing. Another sales person heard me and took me aside. She said to call store manager. I've called a number of times and the phone is never answered nor is there and voice mail available. I purchase quite a bit of merchandise from this store. No more! Worst service imaginable. What a great experience at Dillards today we had an issue from a few months back we came in we saw Samantha Bermudez their floor manager and she resolved our problem right away. I really loved this store until I went in and went to buy a product that had a sale sign on it, it rang up as regular price and the manager instead of honoring it blamed another manager and said he couldn't sell it. Like really, any other large department store would have honored it. read more

I've been here many times . The employees are exceptional, always helpful. The store is always clean and the product placement is done well . I enjoy walking through just to see what I can see! Went to the annual New Year's Day sale that Dillard's puts on every year. I was told that the UGGs were going to be on sale, and in the past I would get my UGGs from Dillard's at this sale. I was so disappointed... not only were the UGGs not on sale, but the only items in the shoes department were on sale were shoes that no one wanted.... UGLY. Then I went over to house wears and hardly anything over there was marked on sale. I finally found a representative I asked about the sales and her reply is that there items on sale that aren't marked, you just have to ask she said. When I found an item I wanted, when I got up to the register a rude representative replied that the item I was trying to buy wasn't on sale. I explained I was told it was and he argued, and said I know it's not because we just got it in. ... the girl I asked earlier was now on break so I was out of luck. In fact the representative made me feel like I was lying about being told it was on sale. Dillard's needs to get their stuff together... they had signs that said items not part of sale when in fact items were part of the sale. read more

I received a call stating I had won $200 dollars worth of Mac makeup what I received was a total of $70 dollars. The bag looked as someone put their hand in the bag . Why tell me I won $200 dollars worth makeup if I will not receive what you state. I had also put clothes on hold with my name supposedly on them. Meanwhile I went to the makeup dept. when I went back half my clothes were not on the hold rack. One of the employees I guess decided to put them back on the floor. The lady looked lost and helpless as she didn't know what to do sad to say this was a manager. She seriously lacks customer service skills. read more

I love this place! Its nice, and clean. They have nice bathrooms, and they carry some major brands. It's their version of Macy's/Nordstrom!

ok! I'll admit it!!! I dared to venture out to shop with no makeup and comfie clothes... Ummm lets just say I got very different service than my previous visits lol!!! The sales girl in the baby department was down right rude! My Dillard's card had expired and instead of figuring that out she accused me of having a pay as you go card!!! Over and over again!!! I have a $5000 limit on that card! Ugghh no!!! She was very insulting to say the least! So... Lesson learned... Dress up and full makeup while shopping at Dillard's! This is the best, cleanest department store within the Lake Havasu City limits. Reminds me of Macys. Employees have been very nice and I have never had a bad experience. It is relatively new and opened approx. Three years ago. Best place in town to go for higher end products like sheets. Would like to post something positive about our experience, but alas not this time. Went to Dillard's to purchase wusthof knives. There were some in a boxed set and some in a locked case. My husband was holding the boxed set but wanted a pairing knife in the case. The boxed set was priced around $30 and the single knife in the case ran around $100. Well, the individual that was helping my husband told him that one of the knives in the boxed set was the same as the knife in the case, to which he replied the knives are different. This went on, back and fourth. Needless to say this shopping experience was not going well. But wait, it gets better! The store employee finally said, "well, the blade is different, but it is still the same knife. To which my husband replied, well, why don't you just give that one and pointed to one with a 12 inch blade, based on your logic it's the same knife. Her reply, and I quote, " you don't have to get smarmy". No kidding, I can't make this stuff up. But wait, it gets better! No one could locate the key to the cabinet; NO KEY! Probably won't hurry back! read more

I love the merchandise in the Dillards in Lake Havasu! I don't understand managements attitude toward customer service. Every time I go in this store the employees are gathered together in different areas of the store talking amongst theirselves. They don't even stop when a customer comes in. I am amazed that this is allowed to go on. Today I was waiting to pay for merchandise and a dept manager comes up to engage in conversation with the people that were helping me. He also was carrying a can of soda and drinking it at the counter! I must be getting old. I thought the customer was the reason you were hired. Donna at the Lake Havasu, AZ Dillard's store is the best and friendliest associate at the store. Unfortunately I will not return to the store because the rest of the associates act as though they are working at Rodeo Dr. and are very snobbish. They profile their shoppers by how they are dressed. I was totally ignore and when I asked for help I was refused by the Diningware department manager and another associate walking by told me it was not her department. I asked the Clinique person if she could call a manager and she told me she could not. The manager Virginia acted like I was scamming the store after District Manager gave me Discount on $399.99 Caphalon. She embarrassed me in front of associate by saying,"I want you to know this is the only thing in the store you can have discount on and this is only a one time deal for you." Since it was the only thing I was purchasing I feel her comment was uncalled for. She was no longer apologetic for my unpleasant experience in her store. read more

Dillard's return policy stinks! Who else in town does not refund the purchase amount to your credit card! Okay it was a little over their 30 day limit, but no other stores that I've dealt with are so rigid and inflexible. Most don't even care about the date of purchase as long as you have the receipt. I returned the items because I could not attend the event that I bought them for due to an out of state emergency and was still out of state when their 30 day limit passed. To their credit they did give me a gift card which I will use before they go out of business and then it's bye bye Dillard's for me. I go to S. CA often enough to shop where I find good clothing AND good customer service, so I won't miss this snotty place. Had they simply refunded my money I would continue to shop there and save you all from reading my rant. I was practically the only customer in the store at the time; wouldn't you think they'd want me to be happy and buy something else???? Idiot management. read more
