Dillard's was founded by William T. Dillard as a clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, and home store. Typically, I find higher end clothes here for both myself and my children. Service, however, was non-existent on Jun 3, 2025. Not in the girls section anyhow. I'll more than likely be back since it's the best Dillard's in close proximity to me, but it would be nice if they kept it cleaner and more tidy. read more

Do not purchase gifts here that won't be opened immediately!! They won't be returnable if they don't fit! Set 30 days from the date the gift was received NOT purchased. That's ridiculous. Come on Dillards, you can do better. read more

I went to return my dress, that was $100. The lady that sold me the dress made me buy it with a gift card. I'm guessing because it does not come out of their commission and now I can't get my money back on my debit card because that lady did it that way. Former customer and Dillards elite cardholder here who showed up with unworn item still in bag with receipt from recent $500 purchase of multiple items and tags. Just wanted to exchange one item (I had bought several polo T-shirts in multiple colors that day,) but noticed after I got home one of them looked like it had small area of poor stitching or moth damage. Was told they did not sell it to me. (so they called me a liar,) and they would not exchange. Asked for manager, clerk got manager on phone who would not talk to me, but told clerk not to exchange item. I've never been so disrespected and treated so rudely. From the parking lot, I called to cancel my account. The Dillards card rep asked if I was sure I wanted to close account, "since I would not be able to use my card again." Really? They lost many thousands of dollars in future sales. So there you have the mentality. (The Dillards bag with unused item had sat on a kitchen hutch, untouched for several weeks and I had been in hospital. But it had not been unfolded, receipt, etc. was in bag.) I just wanted to exchange what I had bought for identical item in same color without the defect.) Not saying I won't shop there again, but it won't be my primary place and I'll avoid it whenever possible. read more

The employees argue with you about Dillard's return policy, which is clearly stated on the back of the receipt. They demand that you have the tags even though it states you can either have the pop label or the receipt to do the return. The employees act like they are doing you a favor by getting them to check you out. Way understaffed. Poor customer service all around. read more

Pretty good Dillard's. It's kept cleaner than the Odessa location. This Dillard's carries the more expensive brands in each department vs the Odessa Dillard's. I don't often find many clothing items here as there isn't a big "casual" selection but I can always find something for a date-night, work, or special occasion. By the time we walked into Dillard's, we had already been in the mall for over an hour. I must admit that I was beyond ready to leave. The guy who was helping us was very friendly. And this is definitely the time to buy a jacket if you're in the market for one since they're marked down 50%. I purchased a really nice one here a few years ago. I have lived in Midland for thirty years. I love shopping at this store so much. They are always so helpful and the quality of the items are so good. I feel bad that some people have bad experiences. I feel that Most of the stores are very bad with customer service along with the quality of their merchandise. Thank you for your customer service. Keep up the good work! read more

I found two regular priced shoes I wanted to purchase. Both of the shoes fit. Got in line to purchase. Left with out purchasing the shoes. Sales persons were picking and choosing who to check out. I left. I will order online at another business. Dillard's just list a customer. read more

Since moving stores, they have obviously hired new girls. The one who greeted me was very kind, but everyone else was so stuck up and rude. Which is expected in this town so most girls here think they're amazing, but in reality your job is customer service so working on your manners and kindness would greatly improve the business here. Our family had some time to kill but we were still on a schedule so we decided to go to Dillard's because someone needed a suit in a hurry. The guy who helped us was extremely casual in the way he talked but was still very professional. he made us all feel very comfortable, he didn't waste time, measurements were quick, and he had the pants hemmed in less than 15 minutes in store. The whole experience went smooth as silk which was good because the man who needed the suit had never bought one before. By the time we checked out, two people had helped us who picked out his suit, shirt, tie, socks, and assisted with shoes. I never knew buying a suit would go so quickly! read more

If I could give this store no stars I would. I was actually an employee at Dillards, and I recently left. I wanted to come on here and speak out about how horrible and disrespectful the management is. A business like this should be about working together as a team and respecting each other and coming together to give the best assistance and care to the customers , and I have never worked for a store this BAD!!. Sandra the store manager is DISGUSTING she would always disrespect me and my coworkers and even customers when she got the chance to . There have been multiple times I have witnessed her talk back to customers when I needed her either to explain a policy to a customer or find a product . There was one incident when I had to call her to come speak to a customer over returning product with no price tag or receipt because she herself would always say to call her if we had an issue with a product. The customer spoke to her about it and Sandra responded with " I don't care , go shop somewhere else" and the customer was furious saying they would never shop there , she then responded with "okay bye ". What kind of a store manager is that ?? I was disgusted with the way she treats her employees and customers. I finally got the chance to stand up for myself and tell her how disrespectful she is and left . However, no one should have to deal with the amount of disrespect and horrifying management. They complain about how they have little to no employees , but they fail to realize that they all leave due to how horrible they treat them. Maybe on day the management will change , I doubt it. I went into the women's store here in Midland to buy a pair of shoes for my daughters funeral on Thursday afternoon. Received no assistance while trying to find a pair of shoes even tho there at least 3 Dillard's employees laughing and standing at the register. Found a pair, even tho I couldn't try them on because they had zip tied them together so I asked if they didn't work if I could bring them back they informed me that I had 3 days to return them. When I was about to go to the visitation I put them on and wore them to the car, drove to hobby lobby to get a picture frame and went inside and back to the car and removed them. During that short period of time they had already rubbed a blister on both heals and 1 on the sole of my foot. I attempted to return them today and they refused to take them back even after talking with a manager. This place is horrible. Absolutely no customer service. They are too busy playing instead of working. And has no respect for the customer. I will never return to this Dillard's every again. I recommend you to stay away unless you like no customer service. read more
