I'm very displeased with Dillard's and the company they partner with called What Goes Around Comes Around, which supposedly sells vintage purses. Do not buy from them because they do not accept any returns. The disclaimer is in small print, barely visible in the corner of the display. There are signs stating they do not accept returns; however, men who are buying gifts for their wives do not always see this. It was not noted at the time of purchase that the purse was refurbished, and let me tell you--it was poorly refurbished. I would advise never buying from here. If you're going to buy, purchase from Poshmark online or somewhere else where you can actually return your items. I would give Dillard's less than one star for very poor customer service. The manager on site that day was confrontational, gave me the runaround, and could not clearly tell me who to contact above her. It was just a bad experience overall. Dillards is always my go to for fancier things because they have fancier prices lol!!!! No but really you can always guarantee to find nice- quality things here! Every year we attend a Christmas dance so I am always in need of a Christmas dress .... This is where I come to first to check out all the dresses! I also enjoy their selection of shoes for kids! They are a little bit costly but it's worth the splurge. Also, each year they do two sales where they mark the clothes down up to 65% Currently they still have clearance goods at this location! read more

What's the big Dill about Dillard's anyway? This is a typical Dillard's store in San Antonio which has nice service and the usual high prices. Barbie likes this massive department store, at least at most locations including this one, but she doesn't particularly love it. And I can understand the sentiment. We spent a good 15 minutes in here, and service was nice, but we didn't buy anything. read more

Mangers are very unprofessional I have heard them telling a employee that he will be fired if he messes up one more time and they said this infront of the other workers very loudly and all the people heard it not very professional when I think about dillards also have seen kids running around the back and the manger having her husband there walking around with her at work !? read more

This location has the benefits of a great staff that is eager to help. The racks will be less picked -over, and will have more selection available. I suspect that fewer customers are willing to pay full price. Once the sales start this location will shed it's inventory. read more

Ever since the closing of Joske's decades ago at Ingram Mall, Dillard's took over and made it a Home Store where they could focus on luggage, bedding, furniture and kitchenware while the other location carried the clothing. In my household it has affectionately become known as Dillard's hard and Dillard's soft Whenever we come to buy a few things, my wife will spend two hours trying on countless outfits and come away with, if she's lucky, one or two items. I, however, head straight to the clearance rack and within twenty minutes have a enough clothes to last an entire season. Of course they are last season's fashions but I'll just have to steer clear of any suspicious jet black GMC Yukon's driving slowly along the road. Dillard's carries great brands and has even greater sales all year round. They have become a found a happy median between the low end Wal-Marts and the upper crust Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms in town. Whenever we shop we usually start here and then decide afterwards if we need to go anywhere else. read more

Do NOT buy any Leather furniture from Dillards. I bought a $900 what I thought was a nice Natuzzi recliner and was wearing very badly after 1 1/2 years. I sent very detailed pictures along with an e-mail describing the unusual wear to the corporate office. My answer was the leather only carries a 1 year warranty! I've purchased 5-6 pieces from Dillards but certainally didn't expect a leather chair to wear the way it did. This will be the LAST piece of furniture I will ever buy from them. Why shop at this Dillard's? Because for some reason, all the great clothes in the ladies department never get bought. I think there's a mismatched demographic here. So lucky you if you're looking for size 2 - 6 discounted special occasion dresses. I'm not kidding. I got a gorgeous suit here for $35 bucks! Sure, I had to get it altered, but usually have to anyway. Terrible customer service. I found an item online that I loved and wanted to put it on hold. I called to put it on hold with the item number number that was online. The girl said she was unable to find it because the item number was not correct. I told her that my cousin had just called a Dillard's in Waco and gave them that exact number and they were able to look it. She still insisted it was incorrect and couldn't help me. I tried calling two other Dillard's in San Antonio and either nobody answered or they would direct me to the wrong department. When I would get the wrong department, the person would not help me even though I explained that I kept getting the run around. I then called the customer service number online. I explained that nobody has been helpful and all I wanted was to put an item on hold. I was hung up on. I called a second time and again explained everything. The man looked up the item and said he would get a hold of the store for me. He put me on hold. He transferred me to the store and again, I had been transferred to the wrong department and again told they could not help me. What is wrong with Dillard's workers?! Do they not care about their customers? So very disappointed and will shop at Nordstrom from now on. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went to purchase a few last minute items for an upcoming vacation and the associates at the Ralph Lauren counter was SO rude. I had both store associates following me and being VERY rude when I asked questions regarding products as if I couldn't afford what I was asking for. They then proceeded to follow me to the infants area and stayed over there for a few minutes watching me. I have never felt so disrespected and harassed at a department store in my life. I was so upset I didn't even make my purchase I would rather make the drive to Macy's at La Cantera. I will be contacting the store directly and speaking with management regarding this, it's ridiculous that I have to feel so uncomfortable when shopping at a store I frequent. Yesterday I bought a pair of 65 dollars shoes from Dillard's La Cantera. I wore them for one hour, to a sit down dinner. The shoes were in immaculate condition, and I do mean immaculate. They killed my achilles tendon, however. This morning I tried to return/exchange them. The salesman said that he needed to call a manager. They had VERY little scuffing on the bottom and were still brand new. I provided my receipt, explained that they hurt me, and they refused to work with me in any capacity. No refund, no exchange, no gift card with cash on it (to ensure that they still get their money). The real kicker was that after refusing to help me at all, the manager tried to sell me heel inserts for ten dollars! After a lifetime of shopping at Dillards, I can promise that I will never return, and spread the word so that someone else doesn't get in the predicament I did. read more
