Ask to take a menu to your seat if you need time to look over the menu. Service was quick but not rushed. Chicken pesto crepe was flavorful and an appropriate size for lunch. I do wish there was a salad included as there is with the panini. Large latte was very big. Only issue was parking. Lot is not big enough for all the businesses that use it.

Beautifully decorated with a vintage vibe and lots of shabby-chic pieces. They seem extremely popular and busy even mid-afternoon; jammed-packed the whole time we were there and with a waiting line-up for a table. Gentleman who seemed to be the owner or manager was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to find us a table quickly (even moving chairs around) after Cousin and I explained that Boyfriend (who was outside parking the car) would never wait for the 30 min announced at first. All the staff there seemed very nice, fast, constantly cleaning, arranging seating, serving, etc. We only had coffees (which were fine but nothing mind blowing) so I cannot judge on the menu. Would recommend this place though, if only for the super hardworking staff!

There is a little park right across the street where you can boat in from Lake Lower Beverly. I always like looking at the crafted goods and the local art on the walls. There are not a lot of tables to eat at - only 3, with a few couches interspersed. The staff and patrons are friendly. We got there early today, and had time to look around before our friends got there. This gave us time to wait for a table, It gets busy in here, so ordering can take some time. However, the food was a while coming out. Our food came out well before our friends' food. However, the food was tasty when it did come out. Unfortunately, my eggs were a bit better done than I like them, but the meal was still edible, while we were eating and our friends were waiting for their food, the waitress admitted that they were short staffed by 2 people (you could really tell!) Later on, we heard they had run out of eggs. Although it is an interesting place, with an eclectic menu, and it's not next door for us, I would not be in a hurry to go back. I would give it one more chance, though, in a while, hoping they get their staffing issues sorted.

The cafe is adorable with a lovely fireplace but even better is the healthy, unique menu which includes smoothies, juices, desserts, and entrees. Since we had recently eaten breakfast we got a juice, smoothie, stuffed grapefruit, and yogurt/granola bowl. Everything was delicious. Hope we can time a stop here on our travels back through the area.
