Really nice cafe with cool design/decor. The coffee and baked goods are pretty good, and they have a good size menu for things like breakfast bowls, sandwiches, etc. A bit pricey but worth it as a treat! I had a spanakopita and a cappuccino, recommend both!

Very cute spot/hidden gem. Managed to snag a table on their patio. Had to wear a mask to order inside and was surprised by the nice decor and aesthetic. Loved all the plants. Would've preferred if they moved their menu to the right side since you have to line up that way - just harder to read past the cash register. Good selection of drinks, teas, sandwiches etc. Ordered their iced cold brew and k-dog (half and half aka half cheese half hot dog with the works aka bonito flakes and terimayo, but they also have a seaweed topping option and regular ketchup option) for approx. $15 total. It was very yummy!

4.5 out of 5 for: (Full disclosure: This is a friend's business but so proud of them that I think I should add my public praise.) - it is swanky inside; tastefully decorated; whenyou step inside, you get the vibes that you want to stop in for a while - friendly & knowledgeable staff - an array of good & not so sugary drinks; their barista can also whip you up your choice of handcrafted drink - have yet to try their tapas-style size foods - the baked goods are yum from Ichiban Bakery - Note: visit can be pricey IF you try all of the things e.g., handcrafted drink + tapas

Half & Half K-Dog (Korean corn dog) with half beef hot dog and half mozzarella, topped with bonito flakes, Japanese mayo, & Okonomi sauce

I don't drink coffee, but I've been wanting to visit this gorgeous little coffee shop for awhile. My husband's been the one doing small, in-person grocery trips and errands, so I had barely left the house in a couple of months. Drip House was the first place I had gone into since the pandemic started. Glad I was wearing a mask because it's a much smaller space inside than I expected. I ordered and paid, then was asked to wait outside. There's plexiglass around the counter as well, card payments only. The patio was full and it was busy with takeout orders. There were quite a few people who got there right after me, but only a few came back outside while others waited inside. It didn't take too long to get my order, maybe under 10 minutes. I had first K-Dog! A K-Dog is a Korean corn dog that they only serve on weekends, Friday to Sunday. I got Half and Half (half beef hot dog, half mozzarella), topped with bonito flakes, Japanese mayo, and Okonomi sauce. The top was cheese, so I decided to let it cool for a bit before doing a sweet cheese pull with my (sanitized!) hands instead of burning my mouth. The dough/coating was SO crispy and the bonito flakes were perfect to give it that smoky, salty unami. I'm not big on sweet-tasting sauces, so I could've gone without the Okonomi sauce, but it was a good amount and I can see how it's popular. The bottom half with the hot dog was what you'd expect and not too salty itself. The cheese was amazing and there was lots of it, which was everything I wanted and more! I only found out recently that it's a Filipino-owned business, though I half expected it because of the Philippine Brand juices sold at the front, which you don't see very often. I'll have to go back soon, especially since they just started an "R&B Thursdays" series this week. They're serving a new Filipino/Hawaiian rice bowl every Thursday from 6 to 9pm. They also have a dope R&B playlist on Spotify to match (link in their Instagram bio). So glad to see Filipino food and businesses popping up in Ottawa in the last few years!

Easy parking on the street, friendly staff and the place is clean and tidy. I had a caramel latte and it was great. My friend enjoyed her coffee. We had a good and chill time!

Honestly wish I could give this place six stars. The food is really great, the falafel sandwich was next level tasty! We also LOVE going to the Chinatown location for drinks, the atmosphere is incredible. The music is awesome and staff seem really knowledgeable about the cocktails! Head to driphouse day and night.

Great modern atmosphere, and very good coffee, their hummus dip is a great shareable snack. And I love the attention to details in their decor and display... elegant spot to grab a coffee and a small bite

Grabbing a cold drink in a hot afternoon after buying veggies from the farmer's market. Went in too late to have many choices for treats. The special drink looked pretty, better than it tasted. Limited outdoor seating. It could get fairly busy

Good selection of baked goods and they also sell coffee, lol ;) The Long Version: The Bower Coffee Company opened up about a year ago in the summer of 2024. Usually I like trying out new businesses that open up in my neighbourhood, but admittedly I'm not a coffee connoisseur. I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference between a $50 cup of Kopi Luwak and a cup of Folgers instant coffee, lol. So coffee shops don't really excite me. However, I recently learned that Bower Coffee Company sells baked goods from a business called Adam Bakes. I've been wanting to try treats from Adam Bakes for a while now, but they are only open on Saturdays 8am-12pm and not in my neighbourhood, so their limited hours have prevented me from trying them. I didn't realize that they also sold their baked goods to other businesses for resale, so when I discovered this, I planned a little coffee date for my husband and I at The Bower Coffee Company :) I chose a Cinnamon Swirl Blondie from Adam Bakes ($4.85) and my husband chose a Peanut, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip cookie from Art-Is-In Bakery ($5.25) and we got a regular 12 oz coffee ($3.25). The coffee tasted like any other coffee to me (unsurprising, lol). My husband is more of a coffee connoisseur than I am and his comment was it was a bit too watery, but otherwise ok. I loved the Blondie. It was rich and I think there's cheesecake swirled into it because it had creamy bits to it. It had a potent cinnamon flavour. I really enjoyed it and so did the hubster. I ended up hauling my butt out to Adam Bakes the following Saturday morning to try their other offerings, which weren't available at Bower Coffee. Adam Bakes will get its own review. I noticed that the prices are cheaper buying directly from Adam Bakes than at Bower Coffee, but I guess that's not surprising. The cookie was unremarkable in my opinion, but the hubby enjoyed it. It had whole peanuts in it as well as peanut butter and chocolate chips. It was soft and chewy, and the whole peanuts gave it the occasional crunch. Service at Bower Coffee was great. The barista asked me for the Blondie if I wanted a centre piece or an edge piece. I know some people like the crispiness of edge pieces, but I prefer the softness of centre pieces, so I was happy to be asked. The decor is clean lines minimalist. It's not a huge space, but has a decent amount of tables. It was bustling on a Sunday morning. Overall, a nice place for a coffee date, albeit a bit pricey in my opinion, but I get it, everything is expensive these days :/ We walked there, but it's street parking only for those coming by car.
