The wait was a bit long (25 minutes) but that was a sign that this place has good food. While I was waiting I spoke to another gentleman waiting that said he drove about an hour for breakfast, another sign that I made a good choice for brunch. The staff were very kind and very helpful. The biscuits were warm and were not pre-cut but so easy to pull apart. My Fiesta omelette was not spicy but just right and the waitress had already asked if I needed hot sauce. My daughter in-law had ordered a chicken biscuit with a fruit bowl that I have already penciled in my mind to order on my next visit. She described the chicken to be light but moist. The price for our meal was very reasonable, it was a little less than $10 a person- not bad for brunch. So you may ask if I liked it? It was a 9.5 ( I don't usually give 10s), I'll be back and looking forward to the chicken biscuit. read more

Good efficient service, reasonably priced, very good food and pleasant atmosphere. We had the Chicken Panini, Gyro, & Philly Steak sandwich. All three were excellent. The Place Located at 400 S. Fairplay Street in Seneca, SC. The Dimas Brothers Cafe offers a nice dining venue. The place offers ample parking, a pleasant dining experience, and large seating area. The restaurant is clean as are the bathrooms. The Menu The breakfast menu offers something for everyone. French toast, pancakes, Breakfast Quesadilla, Farmhouse, Everything Bagel, Smoothie Bowl, Breakfast Armageddon, Grits with about anything else, even a fried flounder breakfast. Omelettes with many combinations including salmon. Eat as health as you like with fresh fruit offerings. Personally I like the omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. (that's all I've tried so far). They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. The lunch menu is complemented with many offerings. The Burgers and chicken sandwiches are very good. They also have Club Sandwich, BLT, Steak or Chicken Philly, Gyro, Flounder, and Pulled Pork sandwiches. The Service/Value/Experience Our service has always been excellent and the value has been very fair. It's a nice dining experience, a little noisy at times but I guess that describes the atmosphere. I don't know what happened to this place. Before the storm I had brunch/lunch several times. The food, not fabulous, but no complaints. Took family visiting from out of state for breakfast and it was pretty disappointing for all the awards and hype. The French toast was flat like a pancake and resembled a regular piece of toast rather than an eggy French toast and the skillet potatoes were the floppiest, greasiest I've ever had. No better than a truck stop meal. Guess I'll cross this one off my list, too. Still looking for a decent place to eat in Seneca. read more

Cool local place. Food was "ok". I ordered the sourdough French toast and it was not sourdough (best guess is pumpkin spice) and not good. We were staying nearby in a rented lake house. The location is understated and unassuming grey building but the parking lot was full. We were three adults and two kids but seated quickly. Our server was very good with recommendations and had no issues with my picky grandkids' substitutions. Our breakfast was served hot from the kitchen. In fact we had to wait for it to cool! WOW! The best grits and biscuits and gravy I have ever had! As a southern boy that's saying a lot! If you're in the area, get your butt to Dimas Brothers!! read more

The food is delicious and staff are so friendly. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to find a good breakfast spot. This place did not disappoint. We ordered the Armageddon and the DBC French toast. Both were amazing. This has to be the best French toast I've ever tried. It comes with a delicious cream cheese sauce as well as a tasty blueberry sauce with chunks of blueberries. Everything tasted great, even the potatoes had the perfect seasoning. read more

We visited while we were staying at Lake Keowee for the weekend after hearing great things on Facebook. This place was AMAZING! Never have I gone to a restaurant and have to wait on my food to cool down! That is fresh food! Our picky eater kids ate their whole plate and they never do that! Our waitress was amazing as well! This used to be a different restaurant years ago, I think it had been damaged during the tornado? So when they remodeled it, and re-opened as "Dimas brothers Café", I've been very pleased! I have never had a meal there that I did not absolutely love! One of my favorites, and I have ordered it several times is the Gyro omelette. When I order it, I usually ask them to add spinach and mushrooms to an already wonderful omelette! Dimas brothers does their omelettes the way that I like it, the egg is not whipped up with Ayer like most restaurants do. I don't like what I call "sponge" omelettes! The egg is thinner, and it is literally filled with all kinds of good stuff! The flavor comes through very intensely! No matter what you want in your omelette, you will love it! I definitely give five stars. All of the wait staff in this restaurant are great! It doesn't matter who waits on your table, they are all attentive and courteous! If I were to Xpress just one disappointment it would be that calling in an order for takeout has become very difficult now that they have began to open up for the online application orders. What used to be typically 15 minutes, the last two or three times I've called, there was a 45 minute wait time and I was not able to wait that long. I am not a fan of this ordering on the fly thing! I feel like the customers who take the time to bother to show up, should be the priority, but that's just me being old school I guess! read more

Have come here many times and have never ever been disappointed. I enjoy the waffle plate which isn't on the menu but they can do it like the pancake plate but with waffles. My husband loves the omelets bc the are packed and huge. My father in law was very impressed with the shrimp and grits especially since it came out with gravy that they put on it.
