Arrived at Strickland's late one morning for breakfast. The Yelp ratings set high expectations, which were thoroughly met. We were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, which cooked perfectly and were topped with a well-executed béarnaise sauce. We also ordered a Meat-Lover's Omelette that was generously stuffed with various meats. We also ordered a stack of blueberry pancakes that were light and fluffy in the middle with slightly-crisp edges. Delicious all around. Service was attentive and efficient. The staff seemed to have multiple roles as you would expect in a small/family-run restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, the food delicious, and the price makes me think of driving back just to eat here again. Well worth it. Also, a quick note on their breakfast tacos. OMG. I'm sure there are plenty of great places to get breakfast in Seneca, but why look further when there's Stricklands. My family was in town for vacation and ate here twice! Portions were large, service was friendly, food was good. The kids had pancakes and they were light and fluffy. Stopped in following a medical appointment in the area after finding this spot on Google. The picture of the breakfast tacos lured me in, and they did not disappoint! I finally got a chance to stop in at Strickland's last week for lunch. I ordered the burger and fries. The fries were decent and the burger was prepared exactly as I had asked for it. The customer service was prompt and efficient. My only complaint was that the burger was very very pink throughout and I was not asked what temperature I would like the burger cooked. I didn't eat most of the burger as I don't care for mid rare or mid burgers. What I did eat of it was tasty, the fries were fresh. read more
