We didn't even know we were there until we were leaving... the sign faces the park and not the road! The sign facing the road says something about a community center. There is a decrepit looking mini-golf out front, there is a decrepit gokart track out back... The one shining spot in this dreary wasteland is the driving range. It has a fantastic range. There are several astroturf pads on a berm at one end of the range. Each pad has a rubber tee that can be moved about for your preference. Off to the side of this berm is another that is just grass for that extra fairway practice. I didn't see if they had a practice green anywhere but I didn't really look. The range itself is very straight and well marked. Distance markers are very visible and color-coded flags also help. the range is kept well mowed so you can see where you land. The road runs along the side of the driving range so the odd slice is kinda scary, but it doesn't seem like you can hit the road unless you really try (I did... it was in the name of science!). Its $7 bucks for a big basket and $4 for a small.

If you want to make it a more fulfilling day for the kids, Cole Park is only a hop & a skip away from world famous Animal Adventure Park. There is swimming for about 40 feet in, and then there are boat and kayak rentals for the rest of the lake. Let me tell you something - Kayaks aRe fun! You can go so fast in them. I towed both my friends with my kayak last time, they are wimps! Boats are pretty boring to me, I could never get the oars right. Oh, as of last year, kayak and boat rentals are free. wait... FREE! Even 1 dollar is a deterrant based on principle. Here it is so easy. So THIS is where my tax dollars are going... 5 stars for free kayaks. Love kayaks.

We were there for a while because I was doing a 2 color polka dot pattern on my mug that took a little bit of time. The environment was nice and though it was a little crowded we still managed to find a place to sit with lots of options. My disappointment actually stems from the final product I picked up. I picked two specific colors for my pattern, blue and green, and made the cup black. I asked the woman working multiple times about the colors and with the dots if I needed to go over them multiple times to make sure the color came out right. I was told no and that the pattern and colors looked great and would turn out great. To my surprise when I picked up my cup there was not a single drop of blue anywhere to be seen. Not even a little bit. I am so sad and disappointed because I had not only specifically asked about the colors but if I would have known the blue would not have shown I would have went with a different color. The cup to me looks like it's missing something, because it is, but other people seem to like it. But I'm just super disappointed and wish that when I had asked I would have been told that's not a color you can do with black. Because I obviously had no idea and spent a good amount of time trying to make it perfect. I wanted to include pictures to show what it looked like when I left it and when I picked it up. If I can recommend anything it's for the employees to help with transparency when helping people start their project and expectations on that. I paid for 2 mugs that day so almost $50 and I just got disheartened when I picked mine up. I would still recommend this place as it's super cute and is still a fun day activity. Just wish I would have known about the colors while painting.

The upstairs party area is a great setup that is open to the rest of the gym so you can keep an eye on all the action. One of the best parts of the party was the two birthday party specialists. I didn't get their names, but they were absolutely fantastic with the kids. They gave clear instructions, were incredibly patient, and encouraged every climber as they made their way to the top. Everyone had a great time, highly recommend!!
