This place is rich with history and is run by a former PGA Pro with a great staff. You can set up golf lessons if you are a complete golf newbie to get a few tips to start or if you want to just hone your golf skills. It's not just a rich mans sport. Their prices for me are ridiculously affordable and reasonable. It's a 9 hole course and you can even rent carts if you don't feel like walking. I am always on the fence about walking the course but renting a cart makes so much more sense and fun :-). It's a great way to play a quick game when you are in the area or just spend the day playing golf.

I hit it so quick it only climbed on me. After that point on I was shook. Then... there's a lone star tick on the caddy car and I killed it with my shoe. So many ticks. Other then that great hole out. It needs some TLC, that will probably mean hundred thousand dollar renovation or some other ridiculous amount analytic people get.

Twin oaks is now Greystone mountain. As a local I have seen this course under several ownerahips…read moreand have played it many times. So here ya go. All previous years until 2020 it was just a little 9 hole course with little care for maintenance and upkeep. Fees for golf ranged from 11$ to 20$ depending on if you played 9 or 18 with or without cart. Currently the course is undergoing some renovations and the maintenance has improved. Fairways are decent as are the greens. They are changing #6 making it a par 4? maybe. All that said we played last week and when I booked a tee time online it was 22$ for 18 with no cart. When we arrived to play and pay our fee was now 82$. YES. 82$ We were floored. I can play any other 18 hole course in the area for less. We asked if there were senior rates it then was 80$. Too funny. The course just doesn't justify this high cost for greens fee and cart. I know we didn't have to play there but we did. Once burned. If we do play again it will be 9 and walking. The price of gas doesn't mean gouge the patrons.
