Ordered the monster bobo and asked for regular ice. After a few sips, I found there was no more liquid in my straw. Never had this problem at Ding Tea in Johns Creek. They use huge dense ice that left me with no drink. Not an ice fanatic but when there is none of what I payed for in my cup, ice content seems to matter. Asked for milk foam and got cheese. It's a good place, not even gonna lie. But, they seem to mess up on the toppings more than anything. My little sister is allergic to boba, but she's not allergic to crystal boba. She asked for less ice, she got a luke warm drink, NO ICE. We were very upset with this. The fact that it even says "crystal" on the receipt makes us more mad. This place is the worst ding tea I have ever went to. All the drinks I tried were watered down with very little toppings. They were even stingy with the straws when they gave me a broken one. I got the VN coffee, green tea, and a matcha. The VN coffee tasted nothing like Vietnamese coffee but more like a bitter cold brew. The green tea tasted more like water than green tea and the matcha was watered down and so powdery I started coughing. Do not come here. read more

But the some of the workers here are slow, even with 7+ people in one store the workers can't seem to work productively to get customers in and out. Example: my girlfriend ordered a vanilla iced coffee with coffee jelly, with hot water and NO TEA. She orders it all the time, but one time we come and they say unfortunately all drinks come with tea, and another time after that they say "oh, it doesn't come with tea." Then today we order it and when we get it, ticket on cup says "vanilla milk tea" and we ask why we got it and they're like "I thought that's what you asked for." BOIIIIIII. We asked for a vanilla ice coffee which isn't even close to what milk tea is. Like these workers don't even care, you would assume with how long they're taking to make your drinks they would make sure they get it right but my gosh this place is a mess. Order at the counter l, pick your drink from the counter once they call out your number. Find yourself a spot to sit. Very casual but has nice decor. Two walls prepped with floral and grass green backdrop for the imstagramers and the influencers. Limited space to sit. There's small tables. Comfortable seating and they have some board games. It's tucked in a shopping mall competing with Eat Tea she Sweet Hut. IMO Ding Tea is better than Eat Tea and Sweet Hut. Review: before I start, you have the option to pick your level of ice and sugar. 70% sugar is more than enough. All the three drinks we tried, it's NOT watered down (unlike the other tea spots). They put in a lot more powder and if your drink has milk in it then their milk is creamier. - the signature milk tea: it's creamy. Not watered down. Got regular ice and regular sugar. Doesn't come with toppings. So add whatever you prefer. We are Tea Top fans. So in comparison Tea Top has better quality tea and milder tasting. - brown sugar milk tea: regular ice and 70% sugar is sufficient as the drink can get sweet. Thick flavor. It's filling. Brown sugar in combination with milk has a soothing and refreshing taste. - monster latte cheese: regular ice and 70% sugar is sufficient. Heavy milk and cheesy taste. Shake well to mix the drink. It comes with boba. But the thick milk pushes the boba at the bottom. The cup is not convenient. The cup has the sealed plastic cover and the cheese sticks to it. Then because of the cheese sticking to the top cover makes it messy when trying to pull the cover off to get the final bobas at the bottom. But the tea is very flavorful and filling. Ding Tea has some great flavors, with the Lychee Yakult being my favorite. However, I have been consistently unimpressed with their service. The first time I got a drink, the cashier never smiled and seemed annoyed to even be there. I chalked this up to there being a long line so I let it go. The second time I came in, the cashier was so incredibly rude to me and my mom. I also asked for a drink with no ice, she says they can only do ice levels from 0-100?, so I again said, no ice. I even offered to pay extra to get no ice. Then when she handed me my drink, it was FULL of ice. I was so annoyed at this point, I just left without saying anything. The drink was for a friend and by the time I got home, it was watered down and disgusting. The tea isn't worth getting treated like this by their customer service, I won't be coming back. read more

This place tastes similar to the boba guys I had in nyc. The bubbles are very soft and you can tell they're freshly made. I got the taro and it was pretty good. Only thing I'd change is for the bubbles to be more sweet and have a stronger honey flavor. Great tea overall though. read more

Busy and busting!!! Beautiful and simple decor, they're very well known for their flower wall. Definitely a cute IG worthy spot. The drinks are fresh and delicious. Wide variety like you wouldn't believe. We've tried the strawberry milk tea, thai tea, lychee aloe vera juice, and the lychee yakult (which my boyfriend loves!). Since they are constantly busy, the boba is always fresh. Soft, chewy and slightly warm at first serving. I hate the wait time but the quality makes up for it. Usually 15-20 min depending on how packed it is. There are so many more drinks I want to try off their menu so I'll definitely be back again soon!! Ding Tea is one of the many new boba places that opened up in Duluth with aesthetics that are indeed instagram worthy. The original location in Taiwan got 3 Michelin stars so I was excited to see how this location compared. I got the jasmine milk green tea and my boyfriend got the Hokkaido milk tea which was on their top 10 list. The jasmine green tea was just ok, not that sweet and not that flavorful. However I will say the crystal boba was surprisingly good. The Hokkaido milk is like a hazelnut coffee milk tea, Which I personally am not a fan of but my boyfriend liked a lot. All in all, this place is great for that perfect instagram shot and a quick drink but I've definitely had better bubble tea. read more

There's so many bubble teas popping up in Gwinnett and Ding Tea is one of the most recent ones. It's located right behind iHop off Pleasant Hill next to What use to be J Bar. A friend told me to check out this place a few months ago and it was closed upon my arrival around 8pm. I finally had the opportunity to check out this place again yesterday. I really enjoyed Ding Tea. I've been here on a couple of occasions. My top two drinks are the taro jasmine latte and the lychee yakult. I also really love the guava green tea but it was only available for a little bit. I hope they'll bring it back permanently! It is delicious. I like the variety in drinks. Their boba is pretty standard. Standard pricing. I never had an issue with the quality. Definitely one of my favorites boba tea shop in Atlanta. The space itself is really aesthetically gorgeous. I wanted to check out ding tea due to its hype. I visited about a week ago and finally gotten a chance to write a review. I ordered the signature milk tea with golden boba Half ice normal sugar. The Place has a nice atmosphere, I'll give them that. What makes me give them a 3 star review is because I witnessed the cashier screaming at one of her coworkers really loudly and being aggressive NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. The cashier I had has short grey hair. This put a bad taste in my mouth. The bathrooms were also dirty there was muddy foot prints everywhere and there was toilet paper or paper towels on the floor. Would I visit ding tea again? Yes, hopefully my next experience would be better. read more

I'm going to be honest- I chose to try this place because of aesthetic. And if you instagram a photo of your drink held in front of the floral wall, it doesn't mean you're basic. There is ample on site parking in the shopping plaza it is in. There was a decent line (out the door) when I arrived, but it moved quickly and gave me time to look over the menu. It seemed to also slow down a little after I arrived so I must have just hit a really busy time, but they seemed to have a steady flow of customers. The noise level wasn't terrible so it seems a great place for casual meet ups with friends to enjoy a drink and talk. Once at the counter, I ordered the pineapple green tea. You get to choose between sizes, large or small, sugar level, 0%-100% increments, and ice level, 0%-100% increments again. I got 0% ice and 100% sugar. There is plenty of seating so I sat while waiting for my drink. The seating is comfortable and the decor of this place is so nice. My drink was delicious! And beyond that it was beautiful. The colors of the drinks are so vibrant and the sweetness of 100% was not overwhelming but it was definitely sweet! If you have a sweet tooth like me, you'll love it!! Ok, so we came back to try something else. This time, the signature milk tea with crystal jelly and the brown sugar milk tea with sea cream and crystal boba. Signature milk tea was also meh, very watery and the tea taste was really weird. Pass. The brown sugar milk tea with sea cap was actually very good. I love thick creamy teas so it was perfect but might be too thick for most people. It had nice subtle brown sugar taste and the sea cream was really thick and fluffy and made my drink very yummy. It reminded me of the milk cap drinks from gong cha. I probably have no more reason to come back as I only found one drink I liked that could easily be found in tea top or KFT. read more

Ding Tea is the newest addition to the bubble tea franchises in the area, and a welcome one, in my opinion. I have tried three drinks: the signature milk tea with crystal boba, the monster drink (only available on weekends), and the Hokkaido milk tea. I absolutely love the crystal boba and would come back solely for that. The aesthetic of the place is nice and cute, though the noise is generally loud as it always pretty crowded and there is always a line. The length of the line has deterred me from getting bubble tea here a number of times. I would come back, though, and definitely recommend others to try this place out to form their own opinions on it (especially the crystal boba). read more

One of my new favorite boba places! The aesthetics of the place is very hip and modern - they have a photo wall, which I think is a good idea when targeting younger audiences. In terms of their drinks, I tried out a couple of their teas including their oolong milk tea, lychee yakult, black milk tea, and strawberry green tea. I would recommend them all - they were a perfect blend of flavors with just the right amount of sweetness. The drinks also come incredibly fast. I was visiting from out of town and saw this place while at Kremo. We don't have a Ding Tea in New Orleans so I wanted to try them out. I got a small honey milk tea with golden boba. Ding Tea is brand new boba tea place in the Duluth area inside the sweet hut plaza. I went here during the weekend with friends to try it out. The decor inside was elegantly decorated with white and gold colors and a giant Ding Tea backdrop filled with plastic flowers. Honestly, the whole place looks like it was designed to have customers show off this spot on their social media but I wouldn't ever think that's a bad thing. I ordered the Hokkaido Milk Black tea as it was one of the first drinks that stood out to me. I was very excited to get my drink at first but this slowly turned into some small frustration as my friends and I waited about 45min for 3 drinks. It could slide as understandable since this was their opening but I've gone a few more times after and the wait was still ridiculously long compared to other boba tea spots in the Duluth area. Once I got my drink though, my frustration quickly went away. It was one of the best milk teas I've had in a while, I made sure to order with less sugar and half ice as I preferably don't like my drinks very sweet which turned out to be a great decision as my other friends complained their drinks were a tad too sweet. Ding tea is one of my favorite place, I love the Thai Milk Tea and the Wizard Oz that they have it here. Not like Thai Milk Tea at the other places, this drink taste special though. I would like to try more drinks next time, especially the fruit milk tea and the flavor tea . So I decided to give this place a second try and ordered one of their milk tea. Since the owner said that they have fresh milk options and could even do almond milk or soy milk in substitute of the creamer powder, I ordered the Hokkaido black milk tea with fresh milk. Guess what, the cashier denied my request and said that they ONLY use creamer powder! That was contradicting to what the owner claims. Anyway, I decided to give it a shot. I ordered 50% sugar but the drink came out extremely sweet. It did not taste like a milk tea at all but more of a overly sweetened creamer milk. I couldn't taste any of the black tea flavor. The balance of black tea, creamer powder and sweetener was simply not right. I couldn't help to notice how dirty their floor was today. It was very sticky-I'm talking about the entire store not just one spot. Can't imagine when was the last time they cleaned it. The floor from ordering area all the way to the restroom was covered in black sticky footprint.
