I learned something new today: Not all Ding Tea locations are created equal. Some locations exceed all expectations with viral style snacks that no one else has. For example, this Norcross location and Atlanta locations have the famous Korean style cheese coin cakes. I've ONLY had these in Korea and Japan previously. They also have not only Dubai chocolate bars, but also cakes! Their banh mi is also fully loaded. Of course, their drinks are the main star and not too sweet. They even have taro boba here. We were there just for the boba tea and coffee. They don't do hot coffee, only iced options. The coffee was thick, sweet and tasted like hot chocolate. You get to pick the ice levels and sugar levels in the coffee just like you would for the boba. We had the lychee juice with aloe Vera with strawberry popping boba. It was tasty, kids really did enjoy it. Service was good but they don't tell you they wouldn't be calling you for your drinks or bring it to you so we were waiting around without realizing our drinks were done and sitting on the cake display counter. I'm disappointed with service and their drinks! I ordered three drinks! Two of the three were completely milk and barely any brown sugar. The Ube monster boba latte has a grainy texture. The creme brûlée didn't have the brown sugar as pictured nor did they have the burnt sugar on top. I had to add sugar and used my own torch at home. It took them 30 mins to make one bubble waffle. After waiting 20 mins , I finally said something. They said they had to make the batter? That's why it took longer? If I knew that, I wouldn't order the waffle! I ordered Togo so I couldn't get ice cream. Unfortunately, they still charged same price without ice cream. My waffle looked a little burnt. I didn't want the ice cream bc it would have melted by the time I got home. They should have a different price for bubble waffle that are made to go. I wanted to try new drinks and saw that ding tea Norcross was near my house. I didn't want to drive in traffic to ding tea Duluth which is my go to place! I regret going to the Norcross location. That being said, this is my first bad review ever. I can't even drink my drink. it tastes nothing like it should be. I'm all about customer service but tonight wasn't their night. Stopped by with wife for some classic bobba. When we arrived there were 9 employees behind the counter. We thought 2 drinks shouldn't take so long. We were wrong, after we order, we sat and patiently waited for our order. The staff of 9 dwindled till only 1 person was left.They had about 8-9 orders. 1 hour later our drink was finally ready. When I pulled up the open light was off and it made me wonder if they were open, going to the door I saw I was within their open hours and headed inside. The 2 workers were tucked in the back seating area on their phones. Granted there was no customers there. They couldn't take card only cash, luckily I had a bit of money. While that's not there fault it is a minor annoyance. What REALLY turned me off is when I got in my car, I usually take a a few sips and then shake the drink to dissolve the cheese foam. Which beautifully dissolves into the drink. Not with this one.. as I'm shaking it, it looks like it begins to curdle/separate. I have been drinking this for years and I have NEVER seen this result. I tried to smell it and it didn't smell or taste sour but the foam itself has no taste (usually it's a little salty). I asked for 50% sweet but tasted like there was nothing but I didn't dock points for that as it seems every location has a different t sweet level. Anyways totally turn off by the foam, giving two stars cause I don't like to give one till I go back to confirm if this is a one time situation or this happens all the time. This was the first time I've been to this location. It's part of a little complex with a couple other shops next to it. The interior is cute and social distancing friendly, they have a microphone that you speak into when you order. If you are craving quality boba then I won't recommend I had ordered a mango milk tea and the color was brown and watered down.

BAD SERVICE asked for double golden boba. I even double check with the cashier guys who is nice and kindly. But it turned out not double , so i asked the girl that this drink supposed to be double boba the cashier guys also said that was his fault, and somehow it didn't printed on the lable. She redo my drink then ask me "is this much ok ? " With such an attitude like I'm taking advantage of them. While I don't mind paying, the lack of customer service left me dissatisfied. It wasn't busy when I got there but honestly, I stopped by several times before and the lines were too long so I didn't step inside. It is located in the Kroger plaza off Singleton Road, across from QT. The plaza is not connected to Kroger and is located on the left side. There is plenty of parking. The staff is super nice. Taro slush wasn't on the menu but they made it for me anyways cause that's what I wanted and got from the Duluth location. I was very happy. For my husband, I got him mango slush. Enjoyed much better than any other Ding Tea locations here. If I had to rank the locations, this place would be by far the best, then Duluth then Doraville. I recently visited the Doraville location and was disappointed at how watered down their Monster boba tasted. It was diluted too much although I did ask their sweetness level to be 50% (don't do this with the Monster boba btw! Just get regular sweetness!) I've tried the Ding Tea in the duluth location and have already experienced inconsistent quality in their drinks. However, I'm starting to think Ding Tea's inconsistencies is a chain issue because I've had drinks at this location that lacked the tea flavor and quality I look for in my bobba. I originally came here because a good friend of mine loves Ding Tea, I'm always the type of person that's willing to give places another chance so I order something along the lines of a Brown sugar milk tea with golden boba. However, my drink tasted like sugar water and the boba wasn't cooked properly. I could just be ordering the wrong drinks or had the misfortune of catching Ding Tea on their bad days. When I tell you, the customer service was on point, it was ACTUALLY on point. They were patient enough to let us take our time and choose our drinks wisely. They were super nice! We ordered a Guava milk tea and they accidentally gave us the wrong drink, so they remade it for us, then they let us have the wrong drink anyways. I love to see it. Plus, they even have macaroons here. The design of the store is wonderful. I will definitely make this my to-go DingTea, instead of other Dingteas. They also have moreee varieties here! I love Ding Tea. Part of my top 5 bubble tea joints in Atlanta. I usually order Thai tea or oolong milk tea with grass jelly. I decided to switch things up and get the Hokkaido oolong milk tea instead with sea cream (milk cap). Unfortunately, I did have to let the tea sit for 2 hours before I can drink as I was fasting. Don't worry, it was in the fridge. When I was finally able to try it, I definitely wasn't a fan. The flavors had definitely settled and it became way too creamy. I had ordered this strawberry tea which was really nice and simple but it had a little aftertaste which was unique but I liked it. They have the most unique flavors that I never seen at other boba location which is really me I would recommend everyone to go there and try it out.
