Came in to the office my first time and got 25 coins. Super dry customer service. They'll try to sell you older worn out coins and trick you even if you ask for newer ones out of a tube. When asked, they said they're the exact same as the ones in the tube, yet are not willing to switch them. They are also pricy. There's better places out there. read more

I had a great experience with Shane Dinger at Dinger's Gold & Silver in Plano today, and I would recommend this business. I had decided to buy my niece a 1oz silver coin for her 10th birthday - a little something extra to commemorate the special day. I don't know why it never occurred to me to do something like this in the past for my own kids, but it turned out to be a great, impactful, inexpensive gift idea - it was a hit! Anyway, I called the shop to make sure they had some coins in stock, and Shane answered the phone. He was friendly and professional and went out of his way to facilitate my request. He even offered to check his stock to see whether or not he had something available from her birth year. I let him know I would stop by later today. When I arrived at the shop, he was (again) friendly and helpful; he had already set aside a few options for me to take a look at, he answered all of my questions, and he just really helped me make a decision - it was an efficient, pleasant, fair experience from start to finish. Keep in mind, this was a very low-dollar purchase, and demand for precious metals is pretty high right now; he didn't have to go out of his way to help so much. It's rare these days to enjoy great customer service like this, especially on a small purchase. I believe this business is trustworthy, professional, and above board...and if you've looked into this industry, that's a concern... I plan to purchase several more coins for additional upcoming birthdays, etc..., and (although Shane didn't know when I made this inquiry/purchase today), I plan to buy some coins as investments for myself and refer some of my clients to him. read more
