Our school started using Dingo over lifetouch a few years ago and it's painfully obvious the reduction in quality. Ive had 3 kids graduate from the same school and the "professional" picture that was taken of them at the ceremony for the last 2 was amateur compared to the first one. They use the crowd as a backdrop and it's hideous. It's too busy and the focus should be solely on the graduate with no distractions. The previous year, they had the actual line with other kids in the photos, some actually photobombing the subject. And they still charge for these pictures that look like they were taken from the front row of the audience. It's a shame the school continues to use them leaving parents with no choice but to pay them. read more

Both of my elementary kids have been having school pictures taken with Dingo for 5 years. We scaled back on the packages the past two years to get the smallest amount of photos because we haven't been happy with the quality. I think we are going to start passing on participating in school picture day and have school photos done elsewhere from now on. They switched to a heavier matte instead of glossy quality and I feel like the matte is causing the photos to look grainy. There is no option to request gloss on the order forms. The last two years the photos have also been snapped without attention to detail. For example, last year, my son had his shirt untucked, hair sticking up, and his pants was visible unzipped. I know this could easily have been resolved with the help of his homeroom teacher but someone could have caught these appearance issues and helped to remedy them given that an 7-8 year old may not be paying attention. This year, my daughter is wearing her jacket in her photo and there is a shadow from above that prevents her eyes from even being seen. I remind my kids every morning to do a self check before getting their picture get taken, but again, someone could have caught these issues before allowing the final pictures to be taken. I get that hundreds of kids pass by on picture day but parents cannot be there so one would hope that mistakes like these wouldn't happen. read more

Poor service and ability to meet timelines - if you have a deadline and they miss it there will be no effort to help rectify or go above and beyond to support. The local high school utilized them for athletic pictures and some items that should have been available are ready but they refuse to let them be picked up or deliver. read more

I placed an order online with them fir an 11x14 senior portrait. I accidentally purchased 2. I immediately called them after placing my order and got voice-mail. I left a detailed message explaining what I had done and if they would only make one copy and refund me the almost $45 from the picture. I've gotten no return call, everytime I call I get voice-mail. I know it's only $45 but it's the principal of the matter. A good business would return calls even to say they can't refund me. I WILL NOT be ordering from Dingo again!​​​ read more

This is a locally owned photography studio located right on the main street of Batavia. Given how the rest of the village's downtown has been dying off, it is rather impressive that this place has elected to stay. Dingo has some advertisements up in Eastgate Mall where they showcase the various photos that they can take (basically anything you can think of). Anyway, this is the company that does all the pictures for my kids' sports team, as well as their school pictures. The owner/photographer (John I think his name is) is really great with all the kids, whether they be five or fifteen. He usually gets the best poses out of the kids and is really able to get them to show genuine smiles as opposed to the fake smiles that some kids put on. Packages can be a bit pricey, but you cannot argue with the quality. We always look forward to getting their pictures because we know how good they're going to be. Mahalo and enjoy. read more
