I'll start with the service our waitress was great going along with the group of and having fun with the joking we were doing and she didn't miss a beat. Taking the orders and getting them out for a group of 12 with an additional 6 joining late. Orders were correct and spot on to the right folks. Now let's get to the BBQ I suggest you start with their onion straw YUM! I had the 2 meat platter and it really was enough for 2-3. Yrs I finished it off . I had pulled pork with their hot sausage ( I'll go for the extra hot next time). It had a wonderful flavor and I really enjoyed the green onion and banana pepper they put on the plate a great taste addition for me. My sides were potato salad and back beans. Both were good however I'd like to seen more meat in the beans. I got the sampler platter. The sliced brisket was kind of tough and dry. That definitely affected my rating. There was very little bark in the pulled pork (almost none), which lowered the score a bit too. I got two and a half ribs, not sure if it was supposed to be 3, but they tasted pretty good and were tender enough. Sausage was good, perhaps the best of the meats. The baked beans were decent, but not great. Favorite though was the coleslaw, which was vinegar based rather than mayo. It kind of stole the show food-wise, which isn't where a bbq joint wants to be. The service was the best part of my visit. I was well taken care of and the staff were awesome. I drove about an hour to try Dink's, and I'd get it once in a while if I lived closer, but won't make the drive again for it. I'd give 3.5 stars but only allowed a 3 or 4 star rating, so 3 it is. read more

I always make it a point to come to Dink's when I'm in B'ville. This past visit, I ordered takeout a few times, and ate in once. I had ribs, a burnt end sandwich, sliced brisket, green beans, and curly fries. All of it was great. The spare ribs were so good, meaty and not an overly dry one in the bunch. Their green beans are southern style, well done, and perfect, same for the curly fries. I really enjoyed the sauce, but the meats are good even without it. The service was excellent, too, both at the take-out counter and in the dining room. Looking forward to coming back again soon. read more

We have traveled all the way from Muskogee to eat here... although picking up a new family addition, this was a must try!!! So far, you can smell the BBQ as soon as you step into the parking lot, so that's a beginning... We started with fried dill pickles.... So good!! The rest of the plates were amazing. It had been 32 yrs since I was last in Bartlesville and had Dink's. Just as I remembered. My wife and I shared the sampler; ribs, pulled port, sliced brisket and hot sausage with potato salad and onion rings on the side. Everything was delicious. The meats were moist and smokey. Everyone raves about this local BBQ spot so we decided to give it a try. We're not huge fans of BBQ, but we don't hate it. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is very clean and decorated with the whole small town BBQ theme. Our waitress was very kind and helpful, she offered to help us with the menu since it was our first visit. I ordered the short ribs with green beans and corn on the cob, it comes with a piece of bread and a pickle. The ribs had a wonderful smoky flavor and were tender. I used the house sauce on them, it has a really nice flavor- not heavy with a hint of vinegar (that's what I tasted). My husband had the smoked sausage with a loaded baked potato with coleslaw, it also comes with a piece of bread and a pickle. He enjoyed the entire thing! He said the sausage had a great smoky flavor and was impressed with the baked potato. Most side potatoes are small but this one was a good size and cooked all the way through. The coleslaw isn't a cream based sauce, it was very light and had red and green bell peppers. I found it refreshing. We also order an appetizer, the onion strings, they were crunchy little bits of batter onion. It is a large portion, we barely made a dent in ours so it would be great for a group app. All in all I enjoyed my meal, I could see myself going back to try the burger or perhaps the chicken. We regularly visit this location and they have amazing food. The service is always consistently excellent, as well. Everything they make is well-executed. I would recommend you try some of their onion loaf or whatever they call it. It's an appetizer and it's very good. They also have the best jalapeño poppers I've ever had in my wife also agrees in that opinion. Their pulled pork is always moist and seasoned well. Every bit of their smoked meat has a nice smoke ring to it. They do a great job! If you order a tea or soft drink, you also get a cool cup to take home. The inside of this restaurant is well decorated and is very clean. I rated four stars, instead of the five I wanted to rate, only due to the fact of food temperature. We have visited here a number of times and two of the last three times we have visited, the food has been room temperature at best. I don't understand that, because there was no delay in the service, bringing it to us, and it seemed very quick to get to the table. I highly recommend their business. read more

To judge from the turnout around 1 PM on a Sunday, our 13th 'cue stop in Oklahoma and the 388th on a 35 state jaunt is very, very popular. $44.61 (+ a generous tip for excellent service) purchased a half order of onion strings, a mild sausage plate with coleslaw and pinto beans, a sampler platter (brisket, sausage, ribs, pulled pork with sides of okra and curly fries), and a Shiner Bock. The onion strings are sensational-- a top ten appetizer nationwide. The ribs were the best of the lightly smoked meats, with a light rub that accented the flavor of the meat, which separated cleanly at the bite. The sausage and brisket came sauced (try ordering it dry if you wish), and like the pulled pork were bland enough to benefit from saucing. Three of the four sides proved unremarkable, but the coleslaw is a winner-- a cold, palate cleansing bite that's ideal when moving among different meats on a plate or platter. We don't go to Bartlesville often but when we do, lunch is always at Dinks. We normally eat lunch on the early side to avoid the crowds but this time it was straight up noon and the place had lots of folks in it. That didn't slow them down a bit. We were in and out in way less than an hour. It's great for working folks. My favorite lunch is called the High Noon. You get a well seasoned, meaty and tender rib, half a sandwich with your choice of meat and a side. Perfect size for lunch even for a fairly big eater like me. I've had their onion strings and you need to try them. They are great. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. All the employees are very friendly and efficient. I've been known to drive an hour and a half to eat at Dinks and then go home. Great food, great service, and the price is right. read more

The BBQ has declined over the last few years. The last 2 times the ribs were dry and not moist at all. Bbq is not that good and service is not always good. We came in today with my grandson who wanted McDonald's nuggets. So we stopped and got him nuggets prior to going to the restaurant. We brought his food in, but not his drink. There were three adults besides my grandson who ate a full meal we ordered my grandson, a drink from the restaurant so the only thing he ate outside the restaurant was his nuggets. The waitress came to the table after the meals had been ordered and told us that bringing outside food and was not allowed. I advised her that if they sold nuggets, then we wouldn't have to do that, but it was a little boy and should not make that big difference. We will not be returning to this restaurant again. The food is poor. The service is poor and for them to be frustrated or worried about $10 from a kid meal is just over the top. read more

Maybe my standards are higher since I'm coming from Texas, but I was underwhelmed. Pulled pork was quite greasy, and lacked the Smokey flavor that one would expect. The Burnt Ends were tender and nicely caramelized. The chicken wings extra crispy just the way I like them. And the curly fries were hand cut and delicious. Dink's is nothing special to look at, and definitely hometown inside. However, the service is good and the BBQ is authentic.
