They can improve by just charging certain age groups more or less instead of having fully potty trained rate vs non-potty trained rate and then arguing with the parents about it. Not fair my fully potty trained child was charged more because he wore a pull up. He didn't need a change all day. Then beware you get hit with a "one time" registration fee and yearly fee. The first day there was more than three times the cost of our normal day care. I used this daycare with my first child years ago, and I found them ultra expensive then too. Years ago, they refunded my account the non-potty trained rate, but from reading other reviews and my experience there they are very non customer service friendly. I worry next year they will automatically bill me the yearly fee and refuse to remove it as other reviewers have said. Overall, I was hoping this place was going to be a good backup childcare, but I will avoid it. I especially did not like the lady getting close in my face during pick up telling me that they have to tell my child to go use the bathroom, and they won't reduce the price to the fully potty trained fee because they have to tell her to go. Isn't that part of the normal care of watching 2-3 year olds? Heck, even in kindergarten, they have bathroom breaks where teachers line up kids for bathroom breaks. The one check in lady says they automatically check in kids at the higher rate via age. That's fine why not disclose it? The first day my child did not have a pull up on the entire day. Came home dry. Yet still charged the higher rate. "Oh because it was a trial day, you won't get refunded". I didn't see that anywhere in the handbook. Another thing is the full day for how many hours rate. What is the price for 10 hours? One lady said they don't have a day rate and the other said they did. How confusing! It isn't mentioned on the website. The one nice lady on the phone assured me there was a max rate for up to 10 hours. I asked the one lady at the Bozeman location about it, and she made me feel like I was crazy, and it was only hourly rate available. Just confusing and frustrating on my end. Overall, I don't recommend. I will find some other back up care options. read more

Dino Drop- In saved me when my daycare closed without warning. Given it's name, I thought it'd be a temporary fix while we waited for an opening somewhere else. I was wrong! We found our home. My one year is happy and literally attached to the teachers. My five year old loves the fact she can go to school with her brother on date nights. Mom and Dad's relationship has thrived because of date nights! The daycare is very organized and communication is so easy. I cannot stress enough what a relief it is to be able to talk with someone. In other daycare situations, my questions have gone unanswered. I had to ask for my bill, and prices were constantly changing. At Dino, somebody will call you back! They have clear answers for everything, and do their best to work with you. read more

don't drop your children off here and if you do and watch the camera but be aware you're probably not going to like what you see. I personally watched my child grab out a snack and follow around an employee while being ignored, then as soon as he put it down she immediately picked it up and put away. They have been awesome! Early morning openings and late closings. Sometimes a lifesaver!!! They have a video cam so one can check in on their kids. The kids always look forward to going there because they have fun, and the staff has been friendly and caring. read more

I have been hesitant to share this, but as a mother, I just feel other parents have the right to be informed of MY EXPERIENCE with DINO DROP IN- BOZEMAN. Please feel free to share, and please keep in mind that this occurred at the North Location, however they have several locations.....with that being said, please be careful where you take your children. Incident that occurred at Dino Drop in (North) in Bozeman, Montana on 4/3/19 -I dropped my children (Leila 5) (Blaire 3) off at approximately 9:15 AM, I had a job interview to go to and trusted my children in this facilities care. I picked them up at roughly 10:45. -When I got there, Blaire ran up to me crying wanting to be held. ( Very out of character for her) -With that, I immediately mentioned to the daycare workers "This demeanor is extremely out of character for Blaire, did something happen today that might have made her upset"?-I was told "Nope, I didn't see anything". -In the car, I brushed Blaire's bangs aside, and noticed a giant swollen welt on the right side of her forehead. My eldest child said "I don't ever want to go back to that daycare". -On the way home, I asked Blaire what happened and how she got hurt. She was shut off, and refused to talk to me the whole way home. (Extremely out of character for her) -When we got home: -I asked Blaire how she got hurt at daycare, she said "The teacher hurt me, and squeezed me." My eldest child said: "And they told me not to tell mommy." "Two daycare ladies told me not to tell mommy" and that it was "the lady with the unicorn purse." -I went back to the daycare to get to the bottom of this: -I walked in and stated that I would like to speak to whomever is in charge, and that I would like to see the video footage from the time that my children spent in their care. ( They have live stream cameras that parents can check in on) -I was informed that it's not recorded. -I followed up with, I would like to speak to the owner immediately -I was informed that she isn't in, but that they can take a note of what happened, and that they would have her contact me that day. -While stating what my children told me, another daycare worker that I wasn't even talking to, chimed in: " Yeah she told me that she got super angry today." (In reference to whomever would be the worker with the unicorn purse." Fast forward to around 4:30 pm, still haven't heard from the owner, so I decided to call her, as I am sick to my stomach and want an explanation as to how my child got hurt. I call the owner: -She starts the conversation off with a hostile demeanor, informed me that she has spoken to one of the workers and needs to speak to the other still. She tried to minimize the situation saying that she heard my child got "a little bump" - In our conversation, she stated that it is basically impossible that this lady hurt my child, because she has worked with her for a year, and " That's just not her" -Owner did not once ask how my child is doing, or the severity of her injury, quite frankly, she didn't seem to care. -Because my child mentioned my little sisters name (Hailey, 10) The owner went so far as to try to blame my child sister for hurting my daughter. -Now the owner suddenly has information that My daughter Blaire was fighting with another kid, and that that is how she got hurt.....Which is funny, because that was NOT mentioned, when I specifically asked the daycare what happened. The owner MY CONCERNS: My issue here, is that my child was hurt while at this facility, and when asked how it happened, the daycare provider had no knowledge, but one of the providers volunteered information that one of the providers was very angry today. You can see why this is a huge concern to me, yet later when I spoke to the owner, there was all of a sudden a plethora of knowledge. This facilities credibility is suddenly lacking at this point. It's not so much that my child was hurt, as I understand that children are active. But when you add up the equation: an angry employee, lack of knowledge of my child being hurt, you can see this not adding up. Furthermore my child was told NOT TO TELL MOMMY. A child should never be told not to tell their mother, that isn't even a phrase either of my children are even aware of. I am concerned that child abuse and/or child neglect is occurring at this facility. I do not want to see other children hurt at this facility. Still haven't heard back form the owner, I have called her again and left a voicemail.....nothing. This boils down to two possible scenarios: 1.My child was in fact hurt at the hands of a daycare employee, and told not to tell mommy. 2.My child was hurt at the hands of another child, the daycare facility lied to me about my child being hurt period, and told my children not to tell mommy. Either way why would they not tell me what is going on when I specifically asked. read more

I have used a Dino Drop In multiple times over the years, both Bozeman and Belgrade locations, and have always had a great experience. My kids are particular and enjoy going. I have to utilize DDI again today, and I've found myself reflecting on how thankful I am that Bozeman has this service that's very needed. read more

This place has been a godsend ever since we moved back to Bozeman last summer. They were able to take our daughter while we moved into our new apartment and got established at our new jobs. As a PhD student, it's great to have a place to bring my kiddo when something spur-of-the-moment comes up. She seems to love it too...she's off and running the second we put her down! read more

Took my son to dino drop while I went to a medical appointment. The live feed in very helpful. Was able to watch my son sit in a highchair facing a fish tank for 45 minutes. He was straining to turn around and watch the other kids as the employees continually walked around him paying no attention. Felt horrible for my son. Will not be going back. read more
