We tried this after a failed attempt to go to Cakes and Cremes. (Apparently closed for remodel) Great cupcakes!! Very friendly service. I got chocolate and Summer got carrot. Highly recommended. Don't go here. Go to Hollister Coffee Company or Vintage Paris - both in Hollister. Dino's is very expensive. $6 for a single slice of cake. The hazelnut latte we ordered was bad - it lacked that quality coffee flavor and it was far too sweet even though as asked for only half sweet. The cakes taste good but not great however they are pretty to look at. Get a properly made coffee and treat plus service with a smile at the Hollister cafes. read more

I was a little disappointed in our experience with Dino's. I have seen it several times and finally got the chance to try it. I got my husband the chocolate cake and I got a slice of Italian cream cake for myself. The flavor of both cakes was very good, but my cake was so dry that is was almost crunchy in some places. My husband's was a little softer, but still not "$6 a slice" great. Again, the flavor was pretty good, but just not the quality that I was hoping for. read more

You'll have to cross the bridge to Hollister to get more of Dino's famous carrot cake...worth the trip. The N. Commercial St. property, known as Chappy's Mall, has closed. The BIG loss was the Bleu Olive, which was in the basement of this center. We can only hope they will reopen somewhere else in town, but that's not looking likely at the moment. Would hate to think Branson can't support restaurants that are this good and NOT "all you can eat" buffets! read more

OK - I want to give this place more stars for their dessert - awesome! - but the service and coffee were mediocre. Having said this, it is still worth a visit just for their cakes! We've had the carrot cake and red velvet and both were very good. Hope you like lots of frosting and you might want to share a slice - they are huge! BTW, they are upstairs from the Bleu Olive (same building) so do lunch at BO and go to Dino's for dessert. read more

I visited this delightful place during the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff was very professional. My sister and I purchased desserts to go. Was pleasantly surprised by the "carrot cake gold bar". Not sure why people were won over by this establishment. The specialty drinks were so sweet it was undrinkable, yes it went direct into the garbage. I would have gone back and asked for it to be remade,but the staff was on the rude side. They especially don't like being asked if the cakes are made in house. I final was told that they are made by bakers at another establishment,that have the recipes, then sent to them. These cakes were not fresh, lacked that high quality flavor, and had been in a refrigeration unit for more than just a couple of days. The cake was also deposited into the trash. Cool coffee shop with a cool feel and music. The have many varieties of cakes and deserts but a limited drink menu. Very disappointed in the flavor of my mocha and my mothers latte as they both tasted like water. We asked them to fix the flavored and they added more syrup the the drinks and handed them back.
