Great experience, it was a little more expensive for a bath than my last groomer but it will be a lot cheaper for a haircut and bath once the days start getting warmer. Cees is incredible, Ginger absolutely loved her, I've never seen her happier and I don't know what kind of shampoo she uses but Ginger has never felt softer. I definitely recommend this place weather you want to do it yourself or go for the full treatment. I should also point out that the trim that Cees did was perfect to keep Ginger's tail, legs and feet cleaner when she goes outside...and I should point out, while I said the bath was a little more expensive than my last groomer I got so much more for my money it was well worth it. I took two of my friend's Australian Sheppard's to the onsite groomers and they were great. These dogs had matted undercoats and are not fond of being groomed. Dippity-Dog Groomers handled them beautifully and the price was fair. They also got us in on short notice and called to tell us of another cancellation so I could do both dogs at once. If someone else complained that they shaved the dog too short, then get your dog groomed regularly to avoid them having hair so matted that the groomer has no choice but to cut it all off. $14 for me to bathe my Lab here instead of mucking up my bathroom and entire house when she sprints around rubbing wet fur everywhere? Yes please! I went on Sun afternoon and there was only one other dog there. The girl working there got us stairs and helped me coax/lift my dog into the tub, got her toes up in the tub ashowed me where everything was. I brought my own shampoo but used the towels and blow dryer provided. I was pleasantly surprised that my dog seemed to like this more than being bathed at home in the tub or shower. Maybe it's because it's open and I don't have the door or shower curtain up? She also didn't mind the blow dryer at all which was shocking. Totally worth it for no clean up! Came here after traveling across country. At first was unsure how the service would be based on previous reviews, but there was only one girl on staff and she was more than helpful. Made recommendations based on each of my dogs coats. Tubs are used for sure but water was the perfect temp, dryer air was warm, soap is diluted but suds up just right and is thin enough to get through my girls dense coats. REVIEW ON SELF SERVICE DOG WASH ONLY: We had a great experience here. My sister took my mom's dog and I took my dog here on Christmas eve. The front desk girl was great. She was very helpful and informative. My sister has relatively no experience washing dogs and the girl showed her what to do. I even learned some tips! They have complimentary shampoo, a spray leave in conditioner and perfume for your dog. They also have towls, brushes, a a blow dryer at your disposal. For an extra fee you can get special conditioners that specialize in either flea, de-shedding, etc. I chose the extra desheder conditioner for 3 dollars I think. Totally worth it! My sister chose the basic option but has a vizsla mix so shedding isn't an issue. She was happy with the basic option (14 or 15 bucks total) read more

I love these guys. They're incredibly patient with my big wimp of a dog, who screams when the vet puts their stethoscope on his side or when anyone tries to trim his nails. My pup's always come out fresh, clean, and all the way dry (other groomers I've tried always leave him wet even though he's a short-haired dog). The prices are more than reasonable too (they're even more reasonable if you do it yourself, but if you've got a dog who's like mine, it's worth the extra cash to not have to deal with him screaming at the top of his doggy lungs). The only thing I don't care for is the kennels that they stick him in after he's done being groomed. They look like they're just the plastic crates that you buy at petsmart or whatever. Really, they're only bad because my dog isn't crate trained and whenever I come to pick him up all I can hear is a loud thumping of him trying to get out of it. read more

I have an adorable but very old Bichon/Pomeranian and desperately needed a full service grooming the day before we left on a RV trip. I called several area groomers and everyone was booked. On a whim I wrote Dippity-Dog on Yelp, hoping they had a groomer in addition to their Self Serve component. Within MINUTES the owner, Cees wrote me right back and said while they are booked, she would squeeze Jersey in at 12:30 pm and she would groom her personally. I drove the extra few miles to her shop, grateful for her accommodation. Upon my arrival, I found Dippity-Dog clean, the employees friendly and very welcoming. Cees greeted me by name, started immediately showering love on my Baby, Grandma dog, Jersey and told me to call anytime during her grooming to check in, or to feel free to stop by, or just to go out for a couple hours and let her do her magic. I had a relaxing lunch with a friend and, as if on queue as we were wrapping things up, Cees called and said my Baby was done, did well and couldn't wait to see me. I walked into the shop to see my pristine little girl, all clean and perfectly groomed for Summer and sporting a dashing pink bandanna! As she spun around in excitement, wagging her tail in pride, Jersey was thrilled to show off her new do! I then saw Cees smiling behind the counter, knowing she had done a very special deed for someone she had never met...yet who will be forever grateful for her kindness, expertise and care. Cees has assembled a friendly, professional, and helpful team at Dippity Dog. I dropped Bowser off and a couple hours later, the dirt was out of his ears and from under his fingernails, his nails were trimmed, and his teeth were as white as when he was a little pup. I wish I had before photos-- he isn't a disgusting beast, but after weeks and weeks of playing in the "mulch" at the dog park, swimming at the dog beach, and generally accumulating filth, his coat was course and uneven. Right now, he's soft, all his knots are combed out (which he somehow gets with his short coat), and he is so shiny. When he was ready to go, I got a call from the team and showed up to a happy, clean dog wearing a sweet little bow tie (really lovely touch!). Overall, we had an excellent experience at Dippity Dog, and we'll be back soon. read more

I've had multiple friends warn me about going to this place in the past and I defended it, but after my last experience there, I will be joining them in boycotting this place for good. I was given a Frequent Customer card to log visits and receive a free dog wash after I filled the card up. When I filled the card up, I was expecting a free dog wash, but instead was given ANOTHER card to fill up and told that the freebie would be honored when the second card was filled up with more visits. I paid for that visit and was hoping to clear up this issue with the owner on the next visit. When I explained my experience to the owner, she scolded me and raised her voice accusing me of not remembering that she verbally told me a year ago that there would be another card to fill out. First off, this is not the only business I have frequented in the last year nor are they the only frequent user card in my wallet, and secondly, it is unrealistic to give a card with X number of visits to fill up to a customer and claim that their verbal contract from a year ago trumps what is in writing. When I continued to discuss this manner in a legal sense, the owner threw her hands in the air and said, "oh! here we go!" and turned her back on me and stormed off to the back room not wanting to face the reality of a disgruntled customer with criticism of her business and it's policies. If you are going to own a buisness in this country and employ "bait and switch" tactics when operating your business, you need to grow up and be an adult and deal with customer comments both positive and negative about your actions and speech- not react like an immature teenager when a customer is coming to you with an issue and turn your back and walk away from the conversation. The owner's condescending and direspectful attitude towards this customer ruined anything good that might have come out of this business and ensured that I will not return to be treated like that ever again. I help take care of my 88 year old Grandma's 108 pound golden retriever/ bernese mountain Dog mix, Bubba. I've tried to do my best to maintain Bubba's long curly coat myself and even took a turn at using clippers to give him an "adorable" hair cut. The outcome was terrible. After three hours of labor, Bubba suffered an incredibly uneven hair cut along with razor rash which resulted in infection, expensive vet bills, and weeks of medicated washes. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable about pet care, proactively helpful with the self-wash, and fairly priced. I pay a bit extra because Bubba is a very large dog with a long coat and I genuinely feel that their services are worth every penny (especially after trying to do it myself and realizing how difficult it really is!)! Every time we leave Dippity-Dog, Bubba is clean, trimmed, and happy! He looks like an entirely new dog! I highly recommend Dippity-Dogs! Loved this place! I got tired of my German Shepherd mix destroying my bathtub at home with all his hair shedding as well as using gallons and gallons of water, and the mess when he gets out of the tub! This place offers everything you need to do it yourself without the clean up or the cost in water bills! My groomer Cees at Dippity Dog always does an amazing job. They allow for me to drop my dog off first thing in the morning, get to her right away, and do an amazing job. My dog is 14 and has moles, other groomers aren't careful and nick the miles, but Cees never does. She cuts my pup exactly like I ask, perfectly round face, short ears, short even hair, and a bow at the end. She comes home happy and clean and smelling great.
