Before finding Ashley, Teca was actually red-flagged at his previous groomers for being "difficult" to groom. While other places turned us away, Ashley wasn't hesitant at all to work with him. We booked an appointment for our dog, Kobi, but were told they weren't sure they had enough time and later said they couldn't honour the appointment because Kobi was too matted. This was confusing since the appointment was made for that reason. They rescheduled us for another day and sent a confirmation text, which I did not reply to. Later I got a call saying I did reply and that I would need to put down a deposit because of a missed rescheduled appointment. It was frustrating that our time was inconvenienced and being asked for a deposit afterward felt unfair, especially since the original appointment wasn't honoured. read more

I was recommended this business by a neighbor who always has well groomed pups. I gave the team a call, left a voicemail and was contacted within 48 hours (I think someone was out). I gave a description of my dog over the phone - she is a husky mix but doesn't have a traditional husky coat. We didn't explicitly discuss what was needed for the appointment but because I said husky mix it was assumed that all she needed was a bath and that's what I was booked for. When I showed up the front desk was surprised by my dogs look and I said I was there for a grooming. They said I was only booked for a bath but would check with the groomer if they could fit me into the schedule. Good news, they were able to fit us in. The groomer was so sweet and patient with my nervous puppy. They were done at the time they had originally told me and gave me a call 15 minutes before my dog would be ready. My dog looked SO cute and smelled good. My kids loved her little bandana and bows. :) The team was very nice throughout my experience. I will definitely be back. read more

My husband brought our dog home and discovered that her front toenail was bleeding a lot. We called the owner, who stated that they were not the cause of the bleeding, and advised us not to go to the vet before hanging up on us. We are very concerned by the groomer's response to this situation. The deep cut was clear and something that should have been noticed by the groomer and caught immediately. Pup Culture did a fine job with the grooming but worrisome that my dog came back home clearly groggy and sedated. Upon picking up my dog, they acted surprised that I had gotten there as quick as I had and said "Oh he just woke up!" which I though was strange. For the next 5 hours my dog was lethargic and panting heavily. He's a small dog maybe 5 pounds, so whatever they used to sedate him (which they shouldn't be doing in the first place) they dosed much more than for a dog that size. Again; as far as the grooming, the did a great job but between the sedation, lying about it, and then not letting people in the building, it adds up to something suspicious. Won't be coming back. read more

We adopted our sweet Gordon recently and he was in desperate need of a good spaw day after leaving the shelter. Pup Culture not only got us in very quickly (a day after calling!) but treated Gordy so well. He came out looking ten years younger and smelling like blueberries. And, the bandana just adds to his handsomeness. I wish I got the name of his groomer but I forgot to ask! Regardless, she did a wonderful and loving job, even choosing to forego the loud dryer at his first appointment so he wouldn't be scared of coming back. That, to me, shows she really cares about her 4-legged clients. The pricing is completely fair for the pampering services provided to our lil dude. Place turned shady... taking our small dogs elsewhere. They use cages and the dogs had to stay there for 4 hours, not sure what they are doing to the dogs for that much time. Our Chihuahua came home and didn't want to socialize with us for over two hours. Had been traumatized we are sure. Hope they enjoyed the Phat tip because it will be the last! I would not take a loved pet there, place has changed they used to sell pet products and had a sitting area (I get it pandemic but..) now they have dirty pet beds just sitting on the floor/ massive cages and no pet products. I can't believe I haven't done a review for this place yet! My boyfriend and I have two dogs, a floofy husky & crazy boxer-mix! Unfortunately we do not have the time or energy to deal with having to a bathe a floofy teddy bear because that would take us EASILY 4 hrs to do so we just opt for the groomers. Most people are skeptical taking their dogs to a groomer however this is the best groomer ever and it's perfect that they're right down the street from where we live! Appointments are easy even though they are closed Sunday and Monday & they get the job done right! Since the husky is... well husky... he has to get 2 blow out jobs because of his floofiness which we do not mind paying because the whole point for them going is to get them all purdy! It costs us only $40 for the boxer-mix because she's real easy but they do a wash, blow out, teeth cleaning, & ear cleaning AND they get a cute themed bandana afterwards! They have never messed up the dogs like some people might say, but as dog owners who take them there once a month for the past several years, yeah they're definitely doing something right! read more
