Naturally, I was frustrated and a bit concerned. I decided to call State Farm to get some answers, and I'm really glad I did. They took the time to explain that the increase was due to some coverages that needed to be signed off, and from there, they actively worked with me to get things corrected. Even though the app was still showing the higher amount at first, they didn't just leave it at that--they stayed engaged and continued working on it. By the end of the call, they were able to bring my payment down to $67, and then I was later informed that my next billing cycle will drop even further to around $48. That level of follow-through really stood out to me. I want to specifically highlight Erin Wiggins, who helped me through this process. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting this resolved for me. She made what could've been a frustrating situation feel manageable and handled everything quickly and professionally. Honestly, this isn't my first time dealing with State Farm, and one thing that's been consistent every time is their customer service. They communicate well, treat you with respect, and actually work to fix the issue instead of just giving generic answers. If you're looking for an insurance provider that will actually take care of you when something goes wrong, I'd definitely recommend them.

State Farm assigned claim to Atlanta not Texas and does not communicate with property owner. ATL and claims adjusters in Colorado refuse to accept repair bid. Others in neighborhood with different agent and different company got their approvals within 1 day of storm. Their roofs are being replaced. It has been 21 days now. My house has a blue tarp, ceiling lights falling down and wood floor destroyed They will not speak to us about the issue. They will not allow contractor to discuss or be present. The phone numbers given are fax numbers. We are very dissatisfied. Sounds like this company is NOT a "good neighbor" to senior citizens and long term customers. As the house filled with smoke, luckily our children got out unharmed…read more Fortunately we were home and able to control the damage, but lost our furnace and duct work (all right before some of the coldest days in winter). Insurance refused to adequately cover damages and boldly suggested we should have let the house burn MORE, then they would have covered damages. We are STILL without a functioning furnace. NOT the insurance company I want on my side during a horrible time in my family's life! I strongly recommend using someone else that will be there to help your family. (We have found another company). You pay all this money to insurance, they should be there to help during the bad times, not trying to find ways to not pay your claim.
